Steve came and looked at our washer. He explained the problem and the repair needed. We chose to buy a used washer from him rather than repair ours. He is extremely professional and polite and knows his business very well. My advise is to inquire here before paying the big bucks at the Big Box stores. You wont be sorry you looked here FIRST. Needed a used refrigerator for my garage so I went to Edgewater Used Appliances. They had quite a few choices, all exceptionally clean and running. The prices were great. I purchased one and he was able to deliver it within a few hours! He even moved my old one out to the road for me. Awesome service and wonderful selection. So happy with this purchase.

My husband and I stopped in looking for a washer and thought it was the motor but we explained to Steven what the problem was he told us it was 95% chance it was the lid switch. My husband came home and by passed it and started working again and we order the part. True and honest!!! I would recommend anyone to this business.

I had a great experience dealing with this store. I was ripped off by someone on marketplace several weeks prior. So I figured no more buying online. I was referred to Edgewater used appliances by a neighbor. I ended up getting a great working washer. Delivry went smooth. Scheduled for next morning and they were there on time and very careful while installing. I only wish I had known of them before I lost 250 on Marketplace for a washer that worked barely the first wash. The next wash the machine flooded my laundry room. Edgewater saved the day for me. If you are looking for a good working appliance, highly recommend them.

Positive experience on August 2, 2021. I have been searching for assistance with repairing my Kitchen Aid Superba washing machine. Today a friend had the owner call me to see if he could help.He diagnosed the problem over the phone, and encouraged me to fix it myself. He said I could have him fix it, but he really felt I could accomplish it. Well, the washer is fixed, and I am so surprised. I hope to do business with this owner when I need to purchase another machine. I live in Daytona.

Steve was great to work with! Our dryer was eating our sheets under the agitator and Maytag wouldnt be able to send a repair person for OVER A WEEK! Plus, they start at $98 just to show up. When we called Edgewater used appliances, they were able to get us on their schedule within 2 days and were incredibly reasonable. Steve worked quickly and efficientlyWe will definitely be using them again!

I got a washer dryer at a decent price. Delivered the next morning. They were very clean!took my old one out and installed them and they were very careful not to bang into anything. It was an electronic problem with the fuse panel. They called and didn’t try to charge me for a “fake repair”. All i can say is thank you for all your awesome help! I drove down to this store on Weds of this week because my family and I are in great need of a second refrigerator for our garage. I saw a sign they were closed and reopening the following day which was today (Thurs).No problem, I drove back up there today and didnt reread the sign on the door because it looked just like yesterdays sign. I went ahead and walked in, and Im greeted with a dude yelling at me from the back that WERE CLOSED! Didnt you read the sign?.. Im kinda stunned at how rude this guy was.Not a Hi, hello or how are you, sorry if you didnt see the sign... just a WERE CLOSED from the back. I left.. and wont be back. I had been searching high and low for a reasonable priced used washer and couldn’t find anything less than $400 and for a couple with a small child that was a very hard thing to afford and with a few calls Edgewater used appliances kept me up to date on inventory and once they had something in my price range they had me come down and in 5 minutes I was sold. They are stand up, Hard working people in there and I couldn’t appreciate their help any more. If I ever need any other appliance as well, I would be more than excited to go back there to find the perfect fit like I did! As well as they have a 60 day warranty and will come out if need be! I went in over the weekend with the plan to purchase a dryer, as I thought my current one was shot and not fixable. I explained to Kathy what was going on a bit and how I just figured it’d be easier to get a new one. Instead of Kathy trying to sell me a dryer in the store, she redirected me to the option of a repair on my current one instead which was way cheaper. Within seconds of speaking to her son Steve about it he suggested it being a broken belt. We sat down and picked a date and time that Kathy made sure worked well for me, and Kathy also mentioned if my current dryer wasn’t fixable a percentage of the repair/house call charge would go towards a new dryer. She was so very kind, caring and genuine, it warmed my heart on a day that it really needed to be. Yesterday when Steve came out for the repair, his idea was correct and it was indeed a broken belt. He had it fixed within 20 minutes and was also very kind, humorous and professional. I strongly recommend this company and will continue to do business with them if needed in the future!!

Kathys Edgewater Used Appliances was not on my list of places to go today. We were at Peggys Restaurant for lunch and my wife spotted them. We had been looking for a few appliances for a rental we are renovating. Originally was going to buy new. So glad we stopped by, I was able to purchase a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and a microwave for such an affordable price I couldnt pass it up. The appliances look brand new. When I asked how old they were, they had the paper work for 2 of the appliances and they were manufactured in 2018. So I got these appliances for $2000 less than I was going to pay at Lowes/ Plus I got a 6 moth warranty . The staff was awesome. Helped us with everything, delivery scheduled for next week when my rental is completed. Highly recommend them to everyone. They had several customers at the same time, but there were 3 people there to assist customers. They didnt hover over you either. Offered there assistance and said if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Everything was plugged in and checked for me accept the dishwasher. But with a warranty thats cool with me. Store is very clean and appliances are spotless very happy with my washer purchase will be needing a dryer soon Ill definitely be back.

So we got a washer dryer and had it delivered, they were both installed professionally and pretty fast. A few days later we notice the spin cycle stopped working so we called and Steve came out again, just like when he delivered our washer and dryer, he was professional and fast. They honored there warranty and we couldnt be happier, if you are looking for a great deal and good local people to do business with then look no further. I would recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommend . I got a washer and dryer for a very good price. Had them delivered the next day. When they arrived to install the appliances, the tech noticed that the power outlet where the dryer plugs in wasnt getting enough amp. So honest he was and told me that my dryer was probably still good. So after fixing the outlet he plugged in my old dryer, and he was on point. My old dryer worked fine. He called his boss and told her I didnt need the dryer I had purchased with the washer . She offered a full refund immediately or in store credit. I accepted the in store credit because it was enough to know that there are honest people still and they could have not said a word and I would hadnt known probably.
