In late 2015 I ordered a Bossman Skimmer 18, Bossman edition from Richard and his team. I was very particular on how I wanted everything and it turned out great. After 3 years of living with the boat, I am still very pleased. Thank you Bossman Boats, LLC.

Been using a Tailspotter for about a year. The boat has exactly what you need to catch fish in any situation, it has proven its fish-ability to me and is an absolute blast to drive. Great boat for the money, nothing comes close. Great experience and everyone at Bossman were friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for a great boat!

“If you’re not catching fish, you can’t blame the boat.” is a true statement. I’ve had my 2013 16’ Morgan Skimmer Bossman Edition for four years and figure it’s time to write a review.I love its stability. Even with 2 or 3 on the boat it is never tippy. You can fight a fish all the way around without thought to the center of gravity. It’s rock solid underfoot. That stability includes the removable, interchangeable, back rest or “sissy bar” to be safe and secure at all times. It fits both the forward casting platform and the poling platform as a backrest leaning bar.It’s also shallow. I easily run the motor in extremely shallow water safely. I got caught in my backwater on an outgoing tide once and had barely inches, even my trolling motor couldn’t help me, so I can say it poles through muck with no fear. I’ve come across kayakers who wonder how I could be there. The boat gets me where I want to fish.While different features appeal to different boaters, customer service is universal. I could not ask for more or better service from Bossman Boats. Whether Richard for the boat or Melissa for the office, my calls get answered, my emails get replies, and I always get help - easily, and without hassle. Oh yes, they’re busy, but Richard is never too busy to stop and give you his undivided attention, if just for a few minutes. Same with his crew.I had a problem with a switch and called. “Bring it down” was the reply. When I arrived with the boat, he pulled a guy and took care of it right then and there. I wanted a console grab bar ordered in and installed. They didn’t take the boat until they were able to work the job within my time expectations. Richard has always done what he said he was going to do.I use my boat a lot and wore away a small area of the non-skid in the cockpit area and asked Richard for help to repair it. He covered it as a warranty issue. I would have been good with just that. However, Richard and his crew went above and beyond and fixed a couple of small areas that were a result of my own abuse, no hesitation. He is like a proud father who wants all his boats (children) to look good. I always get more than I expect, and dealing with Bossman is always easier than I expect. I could not ask for more.My wife and I ran our own small business for 15 years, and we understand good customer service. Richard, Melissa, and crew, give good customer service. They have done right by me over the past four years.

My son in-law bought one less than a year ago, all the hatches were falling apart the cover over the rod holder wouldnt support a 2 year old, he brought it back to have it repaired and they trashed the the boat, the non skid pads (cheap SeaDek knock off) were all tore up and had 5200 sealant all over them they made repairs on the console without even taping around anything so now their is 5200 and paint smeared all over the gauges and controls on his still new boat. not to mention the repairs he was quoted would take a few days turned into weeks. Buyer beware when using this company.

Stay away from bossman boats they do not stand behind there work cheap build cheap boat go get a real boat from eastcape like Im going to do after I sell this pos and if there was a star for 0 i would rate them a 0....I only have one good positive comment boat does get skinny thats the only good thing

Until y’all reply to the guy who y’all stole his $22,000 that he accidentally wired you twice and you never paid him back. Hold this 1 star for me.

My good friend in Switzerland bought a boat in December 2015 for about $ 22000.He paid for it with a wire Transfer on December 24th and by mistake sent another wire of 22000 on the 29th of December.He called the company and ask them to send back the money. They said target couldnt so they asked if they could remboursed in 18 monthly payment of 1200 accepted and at this day he never received a dime from them.Be aware this people do not have money, do not trust them they are crooks.

Worst customer service ever. I asked for pricing face to face and they referred me to their website after that they hurried me away. Character carries a business and these people clearly dont have any.
