This is a great place to have dinner for a special event. The view is amazing of the Manhattan skyline and the food, service, and ambience was great! Our server Jason was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you Jason! I recommend the Chart House for that special occasion youre planning!

Always like coming to this store since it changed from a Pathmark. I use their app to check for coupons, weekly and in store specials. Definitely a better quality of meats for a regular supermarket here and always seems to have the produce items I want. I shop the Edgewater Acme cause its neat and less hectic than ShopRite or the North Bergen Walmart. Those places arent pleasurable to shop in this store and mall is. Plus for me it convenient to get too also.

Broad choice of items. Availability of what I want is rarely an issue. Hence my one stop shopping

This used to be a five-star store for me. In the past year, the layout has changed. What used to be an aisle to itself for organic and healthy foods is gone, replaced by the condiments aisle, which itself is seemingly out of place in the order one would expect it.The organization of the items and aisles lack intuition in several respects compared to the old layout as well. The largest example of this is the way the coolers are placed in the produce/deli section. You have to make sure you check the entire store to make sure you don’t overlook things that are more obvious/expected in other stores. Not sure if COVID affected their store to change inventory, but I was definitely missing the old experience.The deli and seafood employees complained that people were waiting to be served before closing time this evening. If you want people to know your hours, post them. Also, don’t shout “we work all day, we’re not gonna work all night too,” when customers don’t have any way to know you’re done for day. Different stores have different deli hours, and by the way, your customers work all day too and are just trying to feed their families some cold cuts. Your anger is misdirected, your demeanor is unprofessional.High points of the store: many local items, many items unique to ACME only, awesome bakery goods, and their produce usually looks & tastes great. I have a few grocery stores closer to my house, but make the trip down the hill for many years to mix it up. Hope things are not going to continue to decline, I think it’s one of the better ACME locations in Bergen/Hudson.

Open later than everyone else, so thats a huge plus. Store was filthy though, need to do a better job of cleaning up spills before they get dragged down entire isles.

This store is very nice and clean. It’s a huge grocery store with a lot of items in it. The aisles are nice arranged. The employees are very friendly and helpful! I definitely recommend this store!!

Unfortunately, over the last two days I happened to be at the store both times when the registers were not operating. This afternoon, 9 July 2021, I stood in line for almost an hour. The manager, Patty, first assured the long lines of clientele attempting to check out that it would be 5 minutes before the issue was resolved. Fifteen minutes later, she again made the same proclamation that it would take another 5 minutes. Shortly thereafter, as customers began to abandon their shopping carts throughout the store, she and other employees began to spread the word that this was a router issue which they did not know how long it would take to remediate. In this modern day, you would think there would be a contingency of sole sort especially the second time around.

I ordered a graduation cake for my little cousin a day before and seriously was blown away by the craftsmanship of the baker! They are literally so professional and worked overtime to get me this cake in under 24 hours! I will def be ordering more bakery goods from this grocer.

I reside fairly close to ACME supermarket. The supermarket has a large variety of good and supplies, fresh food, plenty of parking and conveniently located next to other stores and restaurants. Lately the sushi has been of poor quality and doesn’t taste fresh. Complaints were given to staff but nothing has been done. Prices at ACME are higher than other supermarkets, so if you are not pressed for time, go some place else. To give an example, the ham and cheese is proximately three dollars more than Walmart prices. This has been a failed supermarket formerly owned and operated by A&P, Pathmark and eventually went bankrupt due to inflated prices.

Good supermarket, nice produce section.The layout is a little confusing, sometimes difficult to find stuff, can often see the same product in more than one section.

Very clean place. Fresh vegetables..and many more items where by you do not need to go else we here. The cashier we got was a female and she was so helpful and very respectful...keep it up...

I wish the prices here were lower. The store is clean and large with good selection. The layout is a bit interesting but they had what we needed that we havent been able to find at any other stores

Local and always had what I need. This place may be a bit pricey for some but they are always well stocked - even when Covid peaked last year. Its always best to shop when items are on sale - plenty of buy one get one free or at half price. *Keep an eye opened for expired items - I seem to find them frequently and drop them off at customer service.

Always found it to be a great experience until today.I was getting ready to add coupons to my list when I noticed they just updated the app.It used to be such an easy format.The new one is horrible!.I called customer service because my $7.00 meat reward was knocked out of my list.They said it was in the system but it doesnt show.That doesnt make sense.Go back to the old app so I dont have to start shopping at ShopRite.

Most Products Are More Expensive than the Other Supermarket. They More Expensive for No Good Reason. Shoprite is Much Better and Great Products for Much Cheaper Price.

Plenty of parking. Cashiers are quite fast and deli counter too. Meat was not the quality expected, the vegetables and fruits are not very fresh. Overall found Aldi to be better and Shop Rite had more of a selection.

I live in this supermarket. Got lots of pets and a few kids. They typically have at the times others do not. Great staff. I recently had the butcher grab me the whole flat of a brisket from the back.

No fency feast whitefish and tuna cans for cats. Very disappointed. No cat food on shelves.

Stopped in to get some fresh baked bread. Kids love the fresh bread. Its not equal to our New York bread but in a pinch it will do. We always have bread on the table with dinner. Buon Natale. 🎄

I saw a veggie mix near the door. I had been thinking of stir fry, it looked very fresh. It was.. the perfect size for one or two; right portions, good veggie mix, right size chops. Just wonderful! (I was super disappointed when I went to a different Acme and bought what appeared similar, only to find summer squash and other non-Asian items in huge, chunks.) Edgewater is the ONE!

Pharmacy and pharmacists are top notch. Very courteous, helpful and efficient. Literally had my Rx ready in 5 minutes.Have always been impressed by wide selection of products like European biscuits like Digestives, shortbread etc. A bit pricey overall but regular sales help

Some good deals store is clean some staff are helpful others act like you are bothering them. Update had to stop in to grab a few thing forgot to grab a drink went back walk up to the cashier Nora with one can she acted like I was bothering her after I paid I said to her thank you have a good day not a word from her just more attitude this woman should not be working customer service. Her attitude is extremely negative. Again this not the first time everytime I get her register it is the same thing.

My girlfriend and I were checking out and the female security guard was extremely rude to us after she falsely accused us of bagging an item we didn’t scan. Not only did she give us attitude while checking our bag but she also did not apologize after we showed her we had scanned everything. Extremely rude and unprofessional

It was good until the checkout. I felt like a criminal. I paid with cash, $20 bills. They checked the serial numbers, held them up to the light. I thought I would be fingerprinted next.

Great prices, large store that has everything!! If you like steaks they have 2 for the price of one.

They stopped recycling plastics and are still giving out plastic bags despite that they are listed as a recycling site. The produce section was barely stocked today too.

This is just your standard run-of-the-mill ACME.They have a very nice prepare section along with a decent sized bakery

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Acme in Edgewater ! The store had a lot of variety of quality products and great sale items. The store is clean and orderly the isles are clear and very accessible especially for seniors and disabled patrons like myself. ! Their staff are courteous, respectful and very helpful especially Ashley who opened up a register to help me with digital coupons which I had trouble figuring out. I will always shop there and would highly recommend it.

Large and roomy, with the largest selection of products of any ACME in the area, this store is a pleasure to visit. Theyve got express self checkout lanes, restrooms and a pharmacy, its worth the trip.

Normally this store is pretty much on point but my last visit they were alittle ate up Isles were a mess hard to find what you were looking for and the rent-a-cop they have there is on high speed mask policing not only is he a security guard but he must be a medical expert because he can determine if youre even properly wearing it properly I guess if you can get past the security guard and you can get past the mess you might enjoy your experience I cant say I did the only thing that I can say was the girl at the register was very polite and professional

Like every place else in the area all things are very empty and you need to get in there as early as possible. However, every single one of their employees is working hard out there doing their job smiling not freaking out and being pretty amazing. My check out girl said she really hopes nothing bad gets to her and I told her. With a heart like hers & her special angel wings that shes hiding under her Acme shirt, I dont think theres anything that could get to her. I dont think thats false hope, I think this is a store full of incredibly special ppl, a great diverse workforce, that are trying to help a community who might not normally come to the store, or might go to the larger stores that are around them. Thanks to all at Acme tonight and every night!

Great supermarket. They carry a large selection of different products in numerous cultural flavors. Good selection of natural products for health conscious consumers along with natural base household items. Good selection of fresh veggies along with a cheese aisle for those that love cheese. Feeling light a snack they have a good court and why not top that off with an espresso with a sweet. Need to store something they have a selection off storage products. Its a good all around super market.

Bob the grocery manager at the Acme market in Edgewater NJ is very professional and helpful. We wanted our special soda we like and he ordered it for us. Also James in seafoods is very knowledgeable. We recommend shopping at Acme Edgewater.

I have the app and they offer rewards and free stuff if u shop there.they are not that cheap but I always get great deals.like they had nature valley granola bars regularly at 3.79 they were 99 cents withe the online coupon .the yogurt chobani is always on sale.i get a bottle of free soda or something else.i just find this place a place where I always get great deals with the app and online coupons.
