Don’t waste your time or money buying those piece of junk wheelbarrows they have out front. They are far too expensive four trying to carry anything. I went to Home Depot spent much less money and got some thing that will work around my yard

Great knowledgeable, friendly staff. I enjoy going in True Value much more than the big box store. If you have a question, they will help you find an answer. They also have a pretty good stock of general items you will need for around the house and yard.

Im sure they stock what they want to sell. They are much closer to our home than Home Depot, and we want to support them...and we do, but todays visit was disappointing. They have a good selection of plant fertilizers, but I wanted two items which were out-of-stock, and they dont carry outdoor rugs--only door mats. Now Ill have to go to HD. Still, I will continue to support True Value at this location. They have a great and helpful staff!

I only had 15 minutes to check out the store, so I snapped pictures to view later. The prices here are comparable to the big warehouse stores and helpful, friendly, employees are close by.

This True Value store has everything you need to get those DIY chores done. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the young lady behind the counter. She’s friendly, smart, and very professional. She told me the aisle my item was located in and it was. She did that with every customer that walked in the store. She’s a perfect customer service rep for that store. Overall the store was clean, well stocked, with a good variety of hardware and home related items. There’s plenty of parking and easy access to the store.

Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. Showed up at 7:50 so we can get some live bait for fishing trip to take my father out for Father’s Day. When the door opens some joker cut in front of us and gets to the key center which is the same place as the bait section. The four other employees that working here for some reason can’t help us. Only the one bait/key cutter can do it. Even after the guy who’s getting the keys made is getting like 10 keys cut they still refuse to help us until we complain. Here it is 820 and we’re still waiting to get checked out just to buy bait. Completely unacceptable.

Good store but weird people. They act like I owe them for the privilege of shopping there.

Went in for some pool bleach and didn’t have my jugs to return. Paid full price( $12 per jug ) for two jugs and decided to return my empty jugs later that afternoon. Store refused to give credit for returning empty jugs. Oh well I hope the few dollars they saved will be worth losing a customer for good.

Inside smelled very high on fumes. Could possibly be the fertilizer but even wearing my mask it was too pungent.

I’ve always liked going to the Edgewater True Value. The people are friendly and helpful. I went in today to get something and neither employee had a mask on. This is ridiculous! I’m 72 and it made me very nervous. I was in there around 2 or 3 this afternoon. Today Florida had the most Covid cases than they have ever had and these two aren’t wearing masks.

Solid hardware store with most everything you could need for small repairs and projects. Friendly and helpful staff who know the store and stock locations. Prices are OK/ typically at or close to big box prices and for me way closer than other options. Try them!

In the past week I went there 3 times one if the times i checked with a young pleasant young girl. The othe two times she wasnt there and the checked out was horrible the empleyes were rude and dont even thank you when your done with the purchase. Next time I will drive to home Depot I will never go back to that store.

Very unprofessional. Today i was asked to leave my backpack at the door with my money and personal information inside. Then i was escorted around store as if i was a thief. I visit this store several times a week and spend alot of money here. Do they ask women to leave purses at the door i think not so why should i leave my backpack. I believe i will take my business elsewhere.

This is how you run a business. We walked in and right away a gentleman asked if he could help us. We gave him a lot of different things to find and he helped us out with everything. We interacted with 3 people who were superbly helpful

Great local hardware store. Have most of your needs and locally owned.

Had what we needed, staff was helpful and friendly. Actually helped get the perfect size bolt that we just couldnt find on our own. Store was well lighted and clean.

This place will never get my business again.The staff is a bunch of kids with little or no experience, and they are untrained and have NO customer service skills. Pretty much take it or leave it attitude, they really dont care.I live close by so I used to stop in for odds and ends, never really impressive, but it worked.They have recently discontinued their discount for Veterans and Military members. I guess they dont want our business.If you do not support our troops and military, then I do not support you!Good luck!! You are going to need it!

Fast and feasible, great inventory

My girlfriend bought some tan paint and some light blue paint. Both paints looked correct in the bucket. The blue dried blue and the tan dried a mauve color..went to return the paint that was tan and dried mauve and was told no... ..paint was selected from their sample and didnt dry the color it was supposed to...so if true value is willing to loose a customer over 20 bucks then so be it...ill use the hardware store in oak hill or make the drive to home depot...will never shop this True Value again...

This place is the worst. They never stick to hours and have a staff of kids with no experience. The bald manager is inexperienced and has demonstrated bias against some of my friends from diverse communities. Why would anyone go here with a store as good as anchor hardware down the road. This store is the worst hardware store ever!!!

Shark Park NSB needs supplies! Bulk 5 gal. Stir ticks, Commercial Door Closer, Heavy duty scrub pads, Round up and the best service one could ask for. The price was the best in town, they had the closer when the HD did not AND did I mention the knowledgeable easy to find staff. My new supplier for home and business. Scott S.

Used True Value all the time back in Maryland new employee named Tanner helped me he took his time he was polite and I got what I wanted he didnt have a name tag because hes only been there 6 months I asked him where it was and thats what he told me give the boy a name tag he deserves it hes an excellent employee

Went to get a 5 gal bucket of paint shaken, was told we dont do other peoples paint... clearly not what they want us to think in there comercials

Went to this location today to pick up some hardware at 4:15pm and noticed that the store is closed and their hours are posted on the door until 5 PM. There has been many occasions where I needed to get items from this place and they were closed earlier than their hours posted!

The only reason there is one star is because it wouldn’t let me leave zero stars. Horrible customer service from the store manager Chris.
