These folks have gone above and beyond for us! While attempting to store a classic car we ran out of gas. A gentleman named Bob, who works for Southern Self Storage, was very kind and generous. He offered us some of his gasoline so that we were able to get the car into the storage unit. This saved us from having to leave the vehicle hanging outside of the unit to go buy gas. Bob was amazing and John, the owner, is also extremely accommodating.Id recommend them without question.

I have a climate controlled unit here. Very clean. No odor. Highly maintained and friendly helpful employees. Highly recommend Southern Self Storage.

You guys have been really good to me, you guys made moving back to Florida so easy! You guys made it possible on a Saturday when I wasnt in town till 8 pm for me to have a family member help me get the storage then get it transferred into my own name so easy and stress free you guys ROCK!!

We have been using this facility I believe for the past 3 years. Ever since the other 2 woman with zero customer service skills have left, it has become a much better experience when having to call or go into the office. There is a woman there that has been there since we first came. She is so very pleasant and always willing to help, many times above and beyond. I believe her name is Chrissy or Christy. There is a man who works there as well, he is fairly new and is also very nice. Im not sure of his name. Although the prices I think are a little high, the facility is very clean which makes up for it.

Souther Self Storage Edgewater is so pleasant and really the best customer service Ive experienced in this entire past year! They were really helpful when we were moving in, as well as being ahead of us when we were ready to move out. We forgot to give our 5-day notice and were afraid wed end up auto-paying for a whole month we wouldnt be using but when I got there to let them know we had moved out, the manager said he noticed we had moved out over the weekend, checked our unit for cleanliness, processed our move-out check list and already moved someone else in and never ran our payment! Way to be on top of things! Thanks so much!

Very friendly staff and makes you feel welcome. John explained all the details of renting a unit and answered all my questions. Facility is well maintained and has excellent security. I rented a unit here and I would definitely rent a unit here in the future if I ever needed one.

Now that is has been sold to new owners, prices went up. Reason I was told was for landscaping and renovation. Lilly and Iris were awesome. Now you go in or call and your are just your Storage unit #. Will be moving to a new storage place. No longer a family feeling atmosphere. Just a money atmosphere.

Rented a large storage until in July with the agreement that they do not do partial refunds for leaving in the middle of a paid month. I always paid in advance and was never late. I had paid for the next month when we were able to move our stuff out of the storage unit. I have it back to then, swept out with no issues and went to get a refund of the month ahead I had paid for since we had left. I was told they would give the Manager our request. Havent heard from them so my husband went back into today. Was told they do not do partial refunds. He explained it was not s partial refund, it was for a while month since we always paid ahead. We thought we were doing the right thing, no late payments and no having to chase us down for the payment. He was told corporate denied the request so my husband asked for the corporate information to talk to. They out right refused to give it to him. He explained that was unacceptable and they told them him they didnt have to tell him and then told him to leave. Ill be making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. While I understand not getting a refund if we had been in there a partial month I do not understand why our paying ahead had a negative affect on us. We have smaller storage need but it will not be with them.

Will never rent a U-Haul from there again and will tell all my clients to avoid them as well. Did a local 38 mile rental, paid over $100 for 24 hours in a 15ft truck. Tried adding extra things I didn’t rent, called to ask and was confronted by a rude woman who was the owner telling me I can call U-Haul if I had a problem. I’ll pay the money to have clients use a better location.
