Worst experience of my life. Service equipment failed after three months. Called and called. Nothing. Sent some parts in the mail. All for $760 a year. And when I canceled they turned over the last year to collection even though nothing worked. Terrible customer service.
Absolute hassle to cancel contract. Even after contract was paid in full, they continued to bill me for 4 months, and refused to issue a refund. Customer service on monitoring end is okay, but behind that, admin customer is horrible. I was loyal to ADT, but after being relocated with my employer and having to deal with their customer service - never again. If you are settled for good at your forever home, ADT may be okay, but other than that, look around for other providers.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! I have called for assistance 6 times already and either call will drop or agent will keep me on hold. I have had soooooo many problems. Only had service 7 months. Terrible scarry undetectable z service!!!
An ADT sales person came to our house and used a bunch of scare tactics to get my wife to sign up for a home security system. A week later the install guy showed up and was super pushy and rude because we didn’t want to add a bunch of useless features. Our account was pretty much immediately signed into by an unauthorized user completely defeating the purpose of a home security system. After calling to cancel we were told that we would be charged I believe 75% of our entire contract to cancel since it was outside of the 3 day window (our system wasn’t even installed yet during the 3 day window). I’d recommend a company with enough confidence in their product to offer a satisfaction guarantee.
Dont believe the lies, will lie and make you do a run around for anything they do work and will charge 1,000 bucks if you want out. Dont believe the good reviews or they looking like they try to solve the problem. They worst company I have ever dealt with and you should know that.
I was under the impression of getting a transfer service without another contract. Its also my fault for not reading thr imprint. However I had trusted the agent and company. I guess Ill just stay with my contract until 2023 and get out of it after. I dont recommend this service at all.

The sales representative was very friendly and well aware what he was talking about, very patient, clear very good experience over the phone, and the tech. Robert he was also very helpful and guide us for better decision, very happy with service.
ADT/Safe-Streets pressured my elderly father (86 years old) into purchasing a security system by preying on his insecurities for over $7,000. Once installed, my father was unable to use it and despite repeated calls was unable to get assistance in either setting the system or silencing the alarms... He requested the system be removed (which it was, but they refused to take it, leaving the parts scattered around his home); he put everything together into a box and requested they take the system as it was sitting in his garage. ADT refused, telling him he owned the system, and that he would be responsible for not only the full amount of the system, but for the 2-year service contract as well; when he protested this, they presented him with an electronic copy of a contract that he never saw nor approved, and which was provided only after the installation was removed... My fathers not mentally capable of entering into contractual agreements. This was repeatedly discussed with ADT Safe Streets, they refused to budge on the requests and continue to barrage him with daily phone calls to harass him into paying for the services he cancelled. If youre going to go with this company I recommend putting it on a credit card, when they wont assist you, or youve come to recognize the fact they prey on elderly/ vulnerable adults youll have some recourse to stop your payment. Technician was extremely polite and did not leave until we understood all the functions. Alarm was accidentally activated a short time after installation and the response time was amazing. They called before I could even enter the passcode.
The guy who came to the home was professional, patient and helpful. We were able to navigate a plan that works for our family and was completed in a timely manner.
We have used ADT Security for over 10 years and they are just monitoring and the hardware/software is out of date. Beware they make it very difficult to cancel. The website is a dead end when you try and find a way to cancel.Here is the address if you need it [email protected]
