This is the first optical center I have visited since moving to Minnesota, and they left an incredibly great first impression. Kelly was a wonderful at the front desk while I was choosing my frames, and the Doctor who examined my eyes was quick, courteous, and very helpful. I definitely recommend getting an appointment ahead of time, as they often have a high volume of walk-ins.

Dont waste your time here go to a real optometrist who understands and is knowledgeable of the human eye.Had to redo my prescription because the first didnt get it right. I waited 1 week and a half for my glasses only to find out they made my eyes feel pressure, see double, and dizzy. Made another appointment and the second person fixed it up which was an easy fix to just remove the cylinders for both eyes.They are back to back on scheduling so you only get about 30 minutes to finish everything. Everything is rushed, questions arent able to be asked, the people arent knowledgeable. I told the person I have dry eyes and wanted to find contacts that was easier for dry eyes so I asked the person who was checking my eyes. Didnt really care and just gave me some random one.Found out from my previous optometrist that he subscribed to me very good contact lenses that were good for dry eyes. Asked to get that instead.I ended up returning everything. My lenses on my glasses were very thick even though I had below - 4.0. The staff didnt tell me it was rimless before I purchased them which I hate and it probably added more to the thickness. The lenses had some blurry parts when looking at a certain angle with your eye which just showed how horrible the quality was.I regret going somewhere outside of my old optometrist. Never again. Staff friendliness was below average.

I do not write reviews often but felt overly compelled to do one for Elton Eyecare based on an exam yesterday! Dr. Elton brought perfect vision back to my life yesterday with a level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, empathy, intellect and promptness that is unseen in common hours! I got great service at Sams Club Optical. They put new nose pads on my eyeglass frame. Solved the problem of the frame being too loose on my face. When I brought them to Target Optical, the service person said he couldnt tighten them up any more, and he didnt even think about the nose pads. I recommend Sams Optical.

I was so surprised by the negative reviews because I have only had positive experiences here, both from the doctors I have seen and the support staff in the office. Everyone has been pleasant, professional, and answered my questions clearly.

Dr. Elton knew all about my unique eye issues and Target is one of the few places that keeps my high-prescription contacts in stock. Always friendly.

The staff is good. The problem I had is I asked for Transitions and got photochromatic lenses. They are not the same. Be sure you know what you are getting.

DO NOT BUY HERE!Tommy is one of their main team members. Tommy has consistently been one of the least customer centric people I have met not only in the eyewear business but in any business. He refused to honor my warranty price, ripping me off by $100… And overall he has been rude and provided a negative customer experience to both my wife and I on separate occasions. I would buy from Warby Parker instead of this place. They treat their customers better at Warby Parker and its more convenient.

Charlie was able to adjust my glasses so they fit perfectly with only 2 adjustments. Ask for him hes the man.

Ug, I made an appointment 6mo ago. Target emailed me and texted me a zillion times reminding me and then I show up and they said it was only a tentative appointment.

Showed up 5 minutes late for an eye appointment and was sent away. Very rude.

Dr Elton is not a medicare provider. If you are a senior on medicare with eye exam coverage, go somewhere else.
