Bad client services. Tried to get some corporate gifts delivered one mile outside of their “delivery zone” wouldn’t help me with it. Even thought they’re the only place in the state who had the items I need.

Decent liquor store. Cant compare to total wine but Edina schools benefit from drinking parents

Would have been 5 stars if not for the angsty and rude cashier. I was greeted and helped by everyone else but she was surprisingly unpleasant. The only reason I could think of is that it’s a Saturday morning and it’s nice out. A quick stop to grab items for a gathering left me feeling weird.

I didn’t like the service of the young cashier, who was not polite and mockingly said that they wouldn’t accept cash ... when I wanted to pay in cash for a purchased item in their store. This is not convenient for a client who has not been warned about their rules in advance ... Pay attention! the fact that the price of goods in this store is overpriced.

The staff always are willing to answer my questions and help me figure out what I might want to try. The tastings have been good; and Ive purchased items based on these and staff recommendations. Its small enough to always have someone to help me. I quit going to Total Wine because I cant ever find anyone to help me. Im very satisfied at Edina Liquor.

I personally will never shop here again primarily because of the incredibly rude way I saw a cashier speaking to and treating a Black customer who was being very polite and hadn’t done anything to deserve that kind of treatment. While I was paying for my items, the Black customer simply asked where the Cristal bottles were. The cashier launched into a tirade of “you’ll have to wait”,”can’t you see I’m serving a customer”,”there are three people in front of you” etc etc. The Black customer at no point demanded immediate service or tried to jump the line - he simply asked where the Cristal bottles were! I feel bad for not speaking up for him but didn’t want to make the situation worse for him after I left the store. I’m not spending another penny here. Another reviewer hints at racial profiling he experienced at this store too. Take your money to Total Wine just down the street on France Ave.

They have a fairly large selection of wines, beers, and spirits. They staff is helpful and knowledgeable. My only wish is that they had a larger selection of single serve items or the ability to make your own mixed case. That is something that I was used to being able to living in other places. Perhaps thats just a regional limitation.

Covid relief syndrome adjustment effect. I must not be the only one using alcohol for madisonal purposes since they are out of stock for what I wanted.

Good selection of local and semi local beers. Not sure on the wine or liquor selection but they carry some REALLY great craft beers. Some of the best from the 5 state area.

Refused to accept cash which is ridiculous. When I asked if its the law they said they dont know but it is their rule, and that I should have read the sign out front.

The staff are really friendly, but I think a little too friendly to the point where The staff follow you around the store and look at everything you’re buying With slight suspicion in their eyes. Mind you I’m a tall 6’1 Hispanic male 280LBS With tattoos. Was I being racially profiled, Idk, Where they excited to see me,IdkBut what I can tell you is that It was very uncomfortable and I felt like I Couldn’t look at the alcohol selections Without the Bald chubby guy following me around, He was very friendly and conversational But he followed me around too much

This place is always clean, always organized, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Im a newer customer, and pretty ignorant on a lot of things alcohol-related, so Im always looking for things, asking questions and requesting recommendations. This team has been patient and knowledgeable every time to date. Keep up the good work!

Great selection, and knowledgeable staff. Very willing to help you find the perfect beer/wine/spirit. Their sale prices are also very good, and if something is not on sale you can usually use a 10% off coupon typically found on a Cub foods receipt or in the local newspapers.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Decent cold beer selection. Decent to above average liquor selection. Wine selection is ok. Moderate wine selection with decent pricing. Prices are a bit high but some stuff on sale make for incredible deals.

Anytime I want a special beer or something they seem to be the place I find it (like the Game of Thrones beers). I recommend them highly except the last time my wife and I were in, an employee clearly assumed we didnt know much about beer, and we didnt much care for that. If we wanted advice we would gladly ask for it.

Bait and Switch. Visited today and saw some really good prices on liquor and wine. Had hang tags that had the discounted prices. So, I selected some of those wines and liquor items. Then was shocked to find. at the cash register, that I was charged the full list price and was given some coupons and copies of my receipts to send to company that made the wine or liquor. Some discount.I never trust that kind of coupon, since Ive found they seem to get lost and I dont really get my refund. Plus, its work on my part, when I assumed the discount would happen at the register.Pick another liquor store where the prices are honestly shown.Also, I dont know how Google calculates the stars. If you look at the reviews. 2 are good from longer ago but the majority are bad and especially recent reviews.

A little pricier than other places around, but it’s got a good wine selection. The whisky and scotch options are slacking, but they have the “normal” options everyone drinks.

Their prices arent really all that great (South Lyndale is cheaper), but they have a good, and wide selection of beer (especially local), wine, whiskys, rum, gin, and cordials. I get a little miffed that all Im doing is helping the cake eaters of Edina pay less on property taxes (since profits are poured back into the community), but they at least acknowledge it by having the tasty Cake Drinker brew from Fair State. So its a fair trade off.

Had a very frustrating experience. Called about a specific beer, was told it wasnt in yet. Then, called the next and was told it was in stock already. Then, went in within a half hour of calling and was told all remaining beers were on hold (when on the phone was told they couldnt do). They need to get staff on the same page.
