First time going, judging by the size of the bagels in the pictures they seemed filling. In reality the bagel was thin and the sliver of a single egg they serve did not justify the price. They also forgot to put an egg in my girlfriends sandwich. Spent $17 on two breakfast sandwiches a naked smoothie drink and an orange juice. Hopefully your experience varies.

You will not be disappointed! GREAT quality food and service. I haven’t yet had anything that I didn’t enjoy. 100% the best breakfast/lunch place in the area.

The staff is very attentive to their customers. I love that the store is very clean and organized . My egg bagel was very fresh and savory. My egg mixed well with the cheese and pork roll . Def coming back to try the rest of their menu !

Only come down this way for company business and when I do I stop here. The store is fairly new and very clean, however the bread to meat ratio is off on sandwiches. I ordered a Taylor ham and cheese on a roll and I noticed when I looked at the grill he had to scrape the meat off the grill because it was so thin. I have also noticed that the taste is off as well, I say that because those that have had Taylors Pork Roll know the taste. This doesnt taste like that. I have to research the area for another go to spot for breakfast. As I read the other reviews I am not alone. I also ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese with the same issue of meat portions being minimal.

It was just ok. Ordered a bagel with cream cheese and barely got any on it. Not sure if Im going to give them another shot.

Ordered from here several times because we like the bagels. They are good. But the meat portions on the sandwiches is pathetic. They charged about $6-$7 for a steak egg and cheese and maybe 1/4 of the bagel has actual meat. Bacon, youre lucky if you get 3 shriveled little strips that barely cover the bagel. If you ask for a modification to the standard breakfast sandwich, you probably wont get it. Not one of the several times that we have ordered, and I ask for the egg on the sandwich to be scrambled instead of fried have they done it. If you ask for condiments like salt and pepper they dont put it. So while the bagels taste good, they need to pay attention to detail of what the customer orders and need to be more generous with the portions, especially if they want to charge that much for a breakfast sandwich. Only continue to order from here because the quality at Liberty Bagel has gone down, and I do like Amboy Bagels bagels better as well.

I tried them for the first time today and I am in love!! I ordered an everything bagel toasted with tuna, lettuce, tomato and onion...and omg It was delicious. Probably the best bagel/tuna combo I ever had. I also highly appreciated that the people behind the counter wore their masks properly and used gloves to make the food. The girl who took my order and prepared my food was extremely nice as well! I will definitely be back soon for another bagel. 10/10 recommend

Passing through on our way into Pennsylvania and stopped for breakfast. Fantastic bagels! I had the rye bagel with egg, cheese, and pork roll! I liked that they didnt over cook the pork roll and they loaded so much onto the sandwich!! It was so good!

I went here recently which is rather new to the area.Its tucked into a small strip off Amboy Avenue in Edison, NJ.Its located next to a pizza place. Its a small place but leaves a big impression or at least did for me.The moment I stepped in I was warmly greeted and the counter person was helpful as well as patient while I decided what I wanted. They have a nice menu and lots of choices with reasonable prices.Everything is clean and the food, choices very good. I thought the food was good, it isnt only bagels as I had gotten the breakfast special, eggs and geometries included, price was good and I must say I felt it was delicious. They also have an assortment of muffins.I ate at a table inside but there was a table outside.I was pleased with my visit.As I was leaving they were all friendly asking if everything was all right and wishing me a nice day. I will definitely be back. I thought it was well worth it. I recommend it.

Amboy Bagel has delicious bagels with a great assortment of different kinds. The food was fantastic. The menu is amazing with breakfast and lunch items that are cooked fresh. Also can’t forget about the falafel that was cooked to perfection. The staff and owner gave exceptional service. Clean and friendly place to enjoy good food.

Reliable and go-to bagel shop to those who live around the area. There is usually a line out the door when you go in the morning, especially on the weekends, but it moves fast. They have a great selection of bagels, cream cheeses, drinks, and chips - all at a great price. We will definitely be frequent customers here.

A customer ahead of me ordered a toasted bagel. Apparently the guy (owner) behind the counter recognized him as he said, hey, you remember me? Im from the other bagel place but Im working here now... The conversation went on, but the owner said to the other staff member, make sure to get this guy the fresh bagel from the back... Their conversation went on and on while I waited on line to place my order. The owner again said to the staff (unprompted), make sure to get this guy the fresh bagels from the back. This made me keep thinking to myself, what are they giving me and other customers, the old bagels at the display? Anyway, I placed my order & paid at the counter. (My sandwich was made very quickly!) A young woman rung me up & I paid via credit card. She didnt have me sign or anything but after maybe 3 seconds or so, I stood there and asked her, didnt I have to sign the screen as I had made purchases here in the past & remember having to tap the screen each time. She then flipped her touch screen around to me, good thing I had asked as the screen was on the tip selection menu. Ill chalk this up to an innocent mistake this time, but then again she was not busy and I find it odd that she was just waiting for me to leave the counter while the screen faced her with the tip selection facing her.The bagels are generally not hot but theyre not stale either. The bagels are decent, but youll never get them hot. Ive dropped by at different times on different days.Service is fast. Sandwiches are good. Only had one time when there was barely any egg on my sandwich. Twice when my sandwich was too oily.Adding this comment based on my last visit: The owner seems to micromanage the staff as they look frozen when I ask them a question & the manager is always not too far away jumping in to answer or tell the staff what to say even though Im in front of them seeing and hearing them. Id hate to hear how he talks to his staff when there are no customers.
