Worst place that I ever work . It has lack of management. They guard you like your in prison . Also remember this name Max he is the laziest person that I ever seen he is always on his cell phone hides in the bathroom 30 minutes at a time trust me you dont want to work here .

I wish this has the option to give zero stars. I sat with their designer, Anne, in early May. Now 2 months later she informs me she is too busy to QUOTE the kitchen. I contacted their main offices and was told that their customers are important to them. I have yet to receive a callback. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE!

Anne is wonderful to deal with; however, do yourself a favor and call ahead to make sure they have your order at the location. Took me 4hrs to get my order yesterday which was suppose to be in Edison but ended up being in Freehold (took them 2 1/2hr to figure out where my order was 🤦) . Dont even bother asking for a discount for their mistake, you will get rejected! People make mistakes, no ones perfect, so just call ahead.

Its more TruValue/Ace hardware than a warehouse store. Big things like vanities, etc are order only. Good place for nails, hammers, screws, etc. Its just a local hardware store, not something to drive for 45 minutes to.

We went in to look at cabinets for a kitchen remodel. We worked with Anne, she was incredibly helpful, honest, and generous with her time. She had great ideas for us to consider with our new kitchen. I would highly recommend working with Anne if you are considering a kitchen remodel.

They have more of a variety than the typical Home Depot which is good. The bad are the staff whom have a lazy, and have an unwillingness to help attitude. They don’t call when an order is ready and their stock database is as antiquated as they are!

I have worked with Builders General Supply and the Shaheen family for more than 45 years. They have always gone the extra yard for me and any of my companies. I receive excellent service and reliability at all times. Other suppliers have try to get our business bot none can guaranty me the service I get from Builders General.

Not very helpful

BGS is a major supplier of top brand building materials. They can accommodate large and small projects. Sales persons are knowledgable yards are well stocked and deliveries are prompt.

Builders General always has everything I need. If I ever have trouble finding something, someone there helps me! My favorite place to buy supplies.
