Since we started getting the organic chicken from Mars, we won’t go anywhere else now. All the meat here is always fresh, never fails. And I love the way they package all the meat. They don’t just throw it in a plastic bag and give you. It is neatly packaged and wrapped. Also their prices are not to be beat. 5 stars on customer service too.

You need to contact the person in prior to get the fresh meat in advance. The meat will be blocked for you thats a very good idea for picking it up instead of waiting. The quality of the meat is good and easy payable and parking available.

This meat market has good quality chicken but the owner is extremely rude and unapologetic to customers. Due to covid he has made it necessary for customers to call ahead and place meat orders to be picked up. I have been trying to call and place order for the past 3 days and each time, the call was either not being picked up or picked up & placed on hold. When I walked into the store to ask abt it, he simply tells me that hed sold out and cant take my order as he has a lot of orders backed up. He also gives me a silly reason that the farms from where he gets meat are sold out too. When I spoke to one of his workers, they tell me there is a good amount of chicken inside his freezer.I would recommend that no one go to this store for meat and prefer other meat markets in near by Oak tree road in Edison.

Best Halal meat shop I’ve been to without a doubt. We tried goat and chicken and the meat was fresh, succulent and the taste reminded us of the good old days back home.The shop has a variety of dried fish (karuvaadu), a great deal of Sri Lankan / Indian / middle-Eastern groceries, spices, ready to cook foods. Glad we found it and sure we’ll be shopping here more often from now.Read some negative reviews in here, however my experience was totally different. The shop owner was very polite, friendly and comes across as someone who wants to provide the best quality and healthy food for the customers.P.S. You can order in advance and pick it up too.

After a very long time I have finally found an excellent Halal Shop to purchase Chicken and Goat Meat. The meat is of high quality, always fresh and never frozen. The shop is very well organized, clean and hygienic. Mr. Mohamed who runs the shop is extremely polite and a thorough gentleman. I normally request baby goat meat. It is always lean and with minimal fat. I literally dont need to clean it further after getting it home. Mr. Mohamed has always obliged my request. The Orders can be placed by texting and usually ready within one hour. Various brands of spices are readily available at the shop. Thank you Mr. Mohamed for maintaining such high standards and making shopping a pleasure.

And I will never step foot in that market again.It’s very sad that you don’t know your own customers, I don’t have to explain myself. Your response just proves why I gave 1 star. If I could I’d give zero just because of your attitude. Don’t disrespect Allahs words when you can’t contain a positive attitude to your customers.

They were open during the quaratine while still practicing amazing social distancing and sanitation methods. No lingering in the store and the meat was delivered to our car. They had everything we needed. The meat was fresh and has tasted great. Highly recommend this place, and even though there are other halal meat places closer to my house, I will likely come back here after quaratine.

I gave 1 star because there is no 0. The lady standing on the counter and works at the meat section is very rude. Disgusting customer Service.Staff is not welcoming at all.They claim to be the only Halal meat store in Edison, meanwhile they dont respect their regular customers.Bad attitude, plus they dont mind misbehaving in presence of other customers either.Not to mention that they are a lot more expensive than other Halal meat stores.

Best halal meat shop in Edison. The shop is clean and the owners provide a good customer service. Meat here is of very good quality. They also have grocery items from different countries. I am especially fond of dry fish which is difficult to find in other grocery/meat shop. Many such unique grocery items from different countries are available here. I can’t emphasize enough on how good the customer service is here. Do visit and support local business.

Finally found a halal meat store certified by Sharia board that is less than short of perfection. Bought this assorted chicken which I fried, came out super crunchy and tender. They also sell delicious halal spicy buffalo wings, chicken/beef samosas etc. that are so flavorful which I can never find in any store. Will be traveling 40 min just for them, so worth it, thank you Mars Halal Market.

Absolutely great service. Very clean, very organized. I had requested for a complete goat. Every piece of meat was very cleanly worked with. All major parts we cut and packed with labels. The meat itself was very good quality at a very good price. It was a joy using the Mars Halal Market.

This place is impeccably clean. That’s not something I would say about generally any grocery. And they also have a halal meat section and keeping all that clean and without any smells, is an achievement indeed.Good assortment of Sri Lankan foods including childhood favorites that I though I would never find like glucorasa jujubes. Owner is very good at customer service and his wife manages the meat section. She is a cleanliness freak and that’s a good thing here. They make some nice ready to bake pizzas with fun toppings like tandoori chicken and other flavors. I go for the fish buns which are very good and of course tea and lemon puffs. They have an extensive array of MD bottled stuff. Date and lime chutney is very good. As word spreads about this store I would suggest to the owner to expand shelf space and more importantly freezer space and also ensure that his suppliers in Sri Lanka are consistent with the quality of the items. Case in point was the fish rolls I purchased this time were smaller and had less stuffing than the previous shipment. I mentioned this to the owner and he said he will inform the vendor. Owner is very responsive.There is a small Moroccan section as well but I don’t know much about it except the Halwa is very good and I have been looking at the Tajines but don’t see myself cooking with those clay Tajines frequently although it will be cool to make couscous and lamb with it. One day perhaps.

I have been going to this place for a few months now and I cannot say enough good things about the owners and the quality of meats and chicken they have and especially being it’s all organic and fresh. They make it soo easy. All you have to do is place your order via a phone call or WhatsApp msg and once your order is ready, they let you know, it’s that simple. They always make your order as you desire and it’s always just as you had asked, it doesn’t get better than that. The owners are soo sweet on top of that and are always accommodating and greet you with kindness!! This is the only place I will ever go to. May Allah SWT give barakat in all you do Ameen!! I never write reviews but I had to write this one! This is truly a wonderful mom and pop shop. They are SO accommodating to their customers and maintain such a sanitary store. It’s sometimes hard to find a halal meat shop that is clean and organic - I’ve found their products to be of excellent quality. I’ve been shopping here throughout the pandemic and I appreciate how this establishment has been updating their store protocol with respect to social distancing guidelines. You can immediately tell they care about the wellbeing of their employees and customers. This shop is a bit far from my home, but I always make the effort to support this business because 1) they’re meat is high quality 2) they are so kind and extremely professional 3) they update their safety measures periodically with respect to Gov Phil Murphy’s guidelines. If youre in the area, I highly recommend Mars. Ive even recommended this place to my own told friends and family.
