Ive been to this place over the last five or six years I know this lady and I know she works harder than anyone I have ever seen and still manages to put on a face and greet the public the next day even though shes been there till 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning pricing things and getting things straightened up I think people have the wrong idea about this woman and they should just keep up with their things and have better communication and for the record Miss Kathy has never been prejudiced against anyone I think its a wonderful place and shes got some beautiful furniture and shes very good with people and you got to keep in mind Miss Kathy is an older lady and sometimes you have to check back with her but I love this place its a wonderful store

Okay, I read most of the reviews before coming and I disagree about this kind lady being unfriendly or it being too crowded. Kathy greeted me upon walking in the store and was warm and pleasant!! The store has a lot of nice furniture and even though it appears to be a lot of items there is plenty of room to walk around without hurting yourself. My son was looking for a nice wooden dresser for his bedroom and found what he was looking for. Not only was it a nice dresser but it was a nice price. Kathy also offers delivery price based on distance. I really wish more customers would rate her because a 3 star could have easily been a reason for me not to visit but luckily for me I had a close friend refer her store. Thanks Kathy 😊

I have been ROBBED. I consigned my furniture: One report in 7 months, no call-back from Kathy and their phone mailbox is, Full. If you are BUYING furniture Kathy may act, Nice because she getting your money. If you have CONSIGNED, you do NOT hear from her and get ROBBED.

I had a wonderful experience at this awesome store! Kathy was so helpful and accommodating with the beautiful china cabinet we purchased today, as well as with the coffee table we purchased six years ago! The young men who delivered the china cabinet today were exceptionally polite and careful. I couldn’t ask for a better experience! Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just left The Elephant Trunk. I walk though the whole store and no one said a word to me. I must have wore my invisible outfit oh no it may be because I am a black woman. One of the ladies almost stepped on my foot but said not so much as hi. It hurt I admit. Why? My money is green just like the people she was helping. I just do not understand.

This place is awesome, especially for vintage furniture. Edmond is the perfect spot to find a furniture store like this. Its not ridiculously overpriced either. There are some outdated pieces, but most if it is really good solid, and well taken care if furniture.

I hate to even give these people a 1. The owner is dishonest and unethical. When she owes you money, she wont return calls or text messages. She STOLE my furniture and refuses to pay me for quality furniture I placed on consignment. I have been forced to sue her. Not only has she not paid, me, I have a considerable amount in legal fees in this 2-year battle.

I consigned a desk at Elephant Trunk and had a very poor experience. Kathy was very unprofessional. After speaking with her about consigning the desk and giving her my information, I was told she would call later in the week to set up a pick up time and get the consignment contract signed. The next day, there are 2 men and a moving truck at my door wanting to pick up the desk. I was not expecting them at all, but went ahead and let them take the desk. I called Kathy and left her a voicemail, but she never returned my call. I called and texted her several more times, without a response for days. I finally had to show up at the store to figure out what was happening. No one seemed to know, but at least my desk was actually there in the store. They said they would call me when it sold, and I would be mailed a check the month following the sale. I didnt hear anything for 2 weeks, so I contacted Kathy with no response. I called the store and they said the desk had sold. I waited til the next month, no check from Elephant Trunk. I contacted Kathy, she said the check would be mailed that day. I waited another 2 weeks, no check. I contacted her again and she said someone must have forgotten. I finally picked it up in store the next day. Overall, this was a HUGE hassle. I will NEVER consign or buy from Elephant Trunk and would never recommend this establishment to anyone.

We bought a dining room table and chairs today. They were super helpful and prices were great. We will be going back in the future for other items. Several items to choose from and great quality.

There are a few interesting items in the store, many of them higher end, though most seem to date late 1980s and 1990s. Most of the items are difficult to even walk by and view and from room to room my anxiety rose, especially having a young child with me....things are piled, stacked, anything with drawers is being used as storage. If you enquire about a buried item youll likely get told it will take a few weeks to get it cleared out. The couches, pillows, curtains etc all have a musty smell; It honestly reminds me of an episode of hoarders and Im a bit concerned for the state of building.

Really like this place. Has so many beautiful pieces. This is a must for anyone looking to add gently used nice furnishings to their home

I put a chandelier on consignment in 2016 and didn’t hear anything in months. Called numerous times to get updates and finally in December 2018 was told it sold and check will be in the mail. Waited for 4 weeks, no check. Finally called Elephant Trunk again and was told that there was so employee problems and it would be taken care of. Called several more times when still no Check by March. Every time was told Cathy, the owner, would get back to me. I was finally able to get ahold of her this month (June 2019). She scheduled time for me to come by and get a check. Her system is very disorganized and she couldn’t remember what my chandelier looked like. She tells me it sold for $260! I couldn’t believe it. It was a HUGE gorgeous 26 light chandelier that we paid $2500. When I said this she started looking further into it and I could tell she was very confused and said, “oh yes, I remember it. It sold for $600!”My experience with elephant trunk is they’re extremely unorganized and do not have a good sense of their inventory. I will never try to sell anything through them again. I would have rather donated the chandelier than gotten $300 for it.

Lovely store with a great selection of furniture and even paintings. I bought a steel case chair for 150$ and was extremely happy with the price. Would recommend 100%

Beautiful furniture but it was literally piled up so that you couldnt walk thru the store. Im sure its not up to fire code. Avoid this place if you claustrophobic.

If you are looking for great bargains on high-end furniture this is the place you want to go. They have a great selection on everything your home will need and the staff is friendly and helpful. Whenever Im looking for something new to add to my home, this is where I go to shop for the best furniture.

Absolute scam artist they play bait and switch one person asked you to come there and the other person gives you contrary information on the products. Please read the reviews before driving there save yourself a lot of money time and effort. Absolute scam artist

This store has lots of beautiful furniture and other items for the home. I really love the store. The lady that was there was friendly but quite busy so it was hard to ask questions.

Made a deal for a shelf on 12/2/17. The deal was to pick up the shelf on Monday because they had to clear it off. We drove back up Monday and the shelf was full of stuff and we had an envelope with our refund waiting (we paid in full). We were told that the shops owner felt she needed the space for display, but would be willing to sell us the shelf for 5x the price we had paid. My girlfriend was devastated. This was the first piece of furniture wed picked out together. We will never go back.
