I ordered a vanilla latte and breakfast burrito here, the espresso was perfect and the burrito cheesy. Love this place! Will return.
My 3 small girls and I went in today to get a treat and a coffee and the staff were exceptionally rude to us. Cant figure out why because we were polite to them. They gave my daughter a burnt cookie. What kid wants to eat a burnt cookie? The other Aspen coffee location on E 2nd is much better. We will continue to go there and not return to this location.
I have been a loyal Aspen-goer since my time at OSU from 2006-2010 and I’ve always loved the coffee but especially the chai. Can’t go wrong with a dirty iced chai or a blended chai on a hot summer day. Today however I feel compelled to write this review because after many years of being a customer and spending countless Saturday mornings hanging out sipping my drink and chatting with my sister at the Edmond location, I was absolutely bowled over by the amazing service provided by Eddie! I’ve never met Eddie before today, but he absolutely went above and beyond. We were sitting outside for about an hour and after maybe 45 min out there with our drinks (and already coming out once to check on us— something we’ve never had someone at aspen do before) he came out with an ice water for each of the four of us saying he figured it was getting a little toasty outside and wanted to keep us cool. Needless to say we would die for Eddie at this point and can’t wait to come back to Aspen and see him!
One of my favorite coffee places! I absolutely love their coffee and the staff is always super friendly. I wish they had a vegan option for the granita though!
The staff here was so sweet. They took my kids drink orders and treated them excellent! Nice to walk in a place and get good service with my kids along. Thanks Aspen Coffee! Ill be back.
Nice coffee shop. Good change from just getting drinks from the big chain stores. Usually a number of people inside, but Ive never had to wait long in a line or anything. Would recommend.
Cute little coffee shop, great to hangout for a bit with a friend or two or for studying, DELICIOUS baked goods 😋Simple and small menu. ☕Outdoor and indoor seating.
Avocado toast was good but they Smothered it in Sriracha which was awful. They remade it without and it was perfect
The coffee shop doesnt serve cold coffee, like frappes, but does offer sweets and nice treats to snack on and has a great wifi services with lobby still open during coronavirus!
Slow... extremely slow. They spend more time talking than actually working.
I have always chosen Aspen over starbucks and is the favorite spot for coffee lovers like me. I love their chai and variety flavor of drip coffee including toasted almond, southern pecan and so on. Its very popular in Stillwater and reminds me of my OSU days in Stillwater. I was glad when I found out that they were here in Edmond. The price is very reasonable and they serve breakfast and sandwiches also. The staff are always friendly.
We love supporting local coffee shops, but unfortunately today at Aspen, the barista on shift did not seem to care much about the quality of the cortados we ordered. We wanted so badly to enjoy our experience, but our drinks fell flat.
This is an OKLAHOMA original business with delicious coffee!!!! Ditch your next corporation coffee stop and support local. We went here with friends the other day and got coffee and a turkey wrap! It was made with fresh ingredients. It was the perfect mid day pick me up! Thank you aspen coffee!
Living in Stillwater since Aspen started, its refreshing to go to this shop and still see the Santa Fe and Moab on the menu, etc. There are lots of pros and only a few cons... like not enough seating because of all the laptop campers. But thats cool because I used to be a happy Aspen camper, too.Go to Aspen and embrace local. And try these Kize bars made in Oklahoma. Theyre excellent, albeit a little pricey. But worth it.
Update: I’ve always been a fan of Aspen coffee and I appreciate that when I voiced a complaint they were quick at addressing my concerns. They have great coffee and I am happy to keep supporting this local chain.——Original Review——I’ve always loved Aspen Coffee, going back to when I was a student at Oklahoma State University. But I cannot agree with what I saw in the Edmond location today. Today is the first day of a mandatory mask mandate in the city of Edmond and all of the employees were deliberately not wearing masks. Up until this point the employees would wear masks (unless they were in the back playing on their phones/talking to friends), but today they decided to “take a stand”. I cannot believe that this is Aspen’s official stand on this issue, so I ask whoever is in charge: Please fix this. I want to keep enjoying this local coffee chain, but I will NOT give my money to a company that blatantly disrespects others.
Come here instead of Starbucks. Trust me. This place smells & taste delicious!
Not a coffee shop... oops looks like Google Maps messed up again because Ive never been to a coffee shop🤣🤣
Customer service sucked and so did everyones attitude, will never return!!
The service was super friendly. The time it took to get my latte was a bit long. Also, instead of what I asked for, it was tweaked a bit and turned into what tasted like a hot chocolate. The bottom half of my drink, despite constantly mixing it up, was undrinkable for me. (I had left and went across town so I couldnt give them the opportunity to correct it) It was just too sweet and chocolate tasting for my taste.I will probably give them another shot when I am near them again and need coffee. I will just be more specific or ask for a more commonly made item.
I’ve been there so many times before. I get the same drink. Unfortunately, they are horribly inconsistent. I just got a drink that is gritty. It’s an iced mocha that seems to have coffee grounds in it???
Delicious coffee and scone enjoyed on the patio!
I’ve been visiting Aspen with several of my friends for the past few weeks, and let’s say that I’ve taken a liking to it. Their employees are friendly, which is a plus. I’m planning on trying a flavored latte next time!
Always good
Best cortado I’ve had in my life, and I get them every time I travel. I’ve been to Hawaii, Seattle, and DC, and Aspen makes the best!
Great atmosphere!! Great coffee!! Great location!!!Highly recommended!!
Just dropped in for an Americano. Everyone was friendly and atmosphere was inviting. If you need a spot to get a cup of coffee and do some work on your laptop this is a good spot.
Smooth coffee. Well staffed. East facing sidewalk tables. Pastry case, although I didnt eat, I could have. Even had Kolaches. Nice interior, probably too many hard surfaces. I was there for Town Hall with Rep. Horn and could hear and understand just fine.
I come here on average twice a week, maybe more, and I never get tired of their coffee! It is my top favorite coffee place because of the delicious drink choices and wonderful staff! One time I even accidentally knocked over my coffee and the employee was happy to replace it! Love this place sooo much!
I was in town due to work purposes (Im not from around here), so I came here to skip the Starbucks line. I dont regret it one bit! 5 stars hands down! Now, they should open up one in Tulsa! 💕☕
I ACTUALLY WENT TO DISPENSARY NEXT DOOR!
I love this place so much I go there almost everyday but sometimes when I’m there there’s a worker who will make my drink and he quite almost never mixes it, I always see him messing on his phone instead of helping the customer at the front (including me), and the one time I try to get him to fix the drink, he never fixed it. Generally a great place, but when he’s there I’m just tempted to leave because I know I’m not going to get the quality I usually get. I would just make sure you train your workers to have good customer service
The coffee shop gets it’s coffee locally from Norman, Oklahoma and has a great selection of different coffee and tea drinks. The place is great for getting work done and it has a peaceful feeling. My only criticism is they don’t do pour overs, and I believe pour overs to hold a lot of importance as a way to measure the coffee’s taste and staff’s coffee technique and experience. But don’t just take my word for it, go try it out!
Great place for coffee
Staff is always sweet and knowledgeable! And the coffee is always fresh and brewed well.
Great place for a meetup with a side of coffee or pastry treat. WiFi access. Super friendly staff. Fair prices. Quality coffee and treats.
Friendly staff. Clean shop delicious cookies. The dirty chainana is delicous!!
Good coffee.
Good coffee, they did not turn my drink into a cup of sugar like the celestial mermaid does; I could actually taste my coffee. Good job!!!
Love the protein balls!!!
Awesome coffee and kolaches! Very laid back, quiet place to study, talk, work, whatever. Fair prices and never had a bad coffee from there
Great tasting coffee. Love the drive thru window and hours!
Nice Coffee shop. They have a nice selection of coffees, caffe latte, and smoothies to choose from.. They have homemade scones, muffins, cookies, pastries, cinnamon rolls, sausage rolls, and more to choose from. This store also has WiFi. You can buy Aspen Coffee Co. Branded coffee cups, mugs, tumblers, and shirts here also. Is a favorite among family, college students and travelers. Open 7 days a week, Mon-Sat 6:30am to 9pm, Sundays 8am-9pm.
Good coffee, but mediocre service. The people ordering didnt take down names so they kept calling out drink names and everyone kept reaching for the same cups over and over. Pretty uncomfortable. Literally too, the chairs arent awesome. Also, using paper cups for non-to-go orders? Get some mugs up in there, eh?Tried to order with simple syrup instead of sugar and they said they didnt have it. Simple syrup dissolves better, itd be cool if you all could stock it. Ill still go back it tasted pretty good.
Aspen consitently hires very pleasant and friendly people. The coffee is good and theres just enough food options to keep the tummy happy. This location has a wall of windows that makes it feel really spacious and bright. Well done!
The workers are friendly and the environment is lit dimly, nice for hang outs. I got the Chai latte and it was a bit too sweet for my taste, but I enjoyed studying there! Next time, I would bring my friends to only chill!
One of the best Chai Lattes Ive had in years. Staff is fun and friendly. Great selection of wraps and sandwiches. My friend ordered a specialty coffee and loved it. Go check them out.
Fun atmosphere and good coffee. Much better than your typical chain coffee place. Good for reading and conversation. Have long tables in the middle encouraging meeting others.
Dirty Chai is sweet and creamy and does not disappoint!
Great place to grab a cup of coffee and study. Inviting atmosphere, comfy chairs, and great staff. Offers excellent coffee and other drinks. Great costumer service friendly staffs.
Good little local coffee shop. They have a big selection of breakfast and lunch items. Espresso drinks can be hit and miss due to barista training. If you want great (honestly, world class) espresso in Edmond, go to Evoke. However, Aspen still offers good drinks made on a real espresso machine, unlike the big chains.
A great spot in Edmond for taking a break and getting a coffee. They have fresh in store baked mini cinnamon rolls that are a great accompaniment to your morning coffee. If you come early you can sometimes get them right out of the oven.
My wife loved the coffee from here. We actually bought expresso to bring home.
Coffee roasted from bean is usually quite good. The problem is every time I go I get a different version of my drink based on whos making it. Iced Mocha coffee, first time (guy) two scoops of cocoa which was very sweet so next time I ask for half mocha which was one scoop (tasted great) then next time asked for half mocha got half a scoop, a pack of sugar (???) which still didnt taste bad, then next time got half a scoop with a ton of milk, which I threw away. Still next half a scoop, milk first then ice... Talking to that barista she tells me that one scoop is correct for a proper mocha which is why half mocha is half scoop... uggh... So the first guy added too much and Ive been trying to correct for that all this time just wanting to get the same thing every time, not too sweet, not much ice and not watered down with milk. What to do?My wife, btw, loves the basic cup of coffee. Not bitter, great tasting. You just need to get consistency from staff making drinks.
Been my early Friday morning meeting spot for a few years. Great service, consistently good coffee, and breakfast items.
I used to be a regular at Aspen Coffee. It was on my way to work, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They took their time and crafted coffee the way that it is supposed to be made. That being said, I have stopped going to Aspen in recent months. I visited this afternoon and found the three baristas to be distracted, and unfriendly. The steamed milk in recent months is always overheated, which doesnt allow the full flavor of the roast to come to fruition. Sorely disappointed that the service and quality has taken such a nose dive. I have never taken the time to write a review but I feel like this is an issue that has only gotten worse. Hopefully, things will change for the better.
Their quick service, friendly faces and delicious coffee bring me back every time. I choose Aspen over Starbucks any day! Sure, every restaurant has its days where it messes up an order but here, they care about it!
95% of the time it’s solid. Only thing that’s hit or miss is the customer service.
Friendly service and great coffee. Go every Sunday morning for some java and some breakfast
Still love this place. I have reviewed it before and cant wait to go again. Always a great place to bring people for tea or coffee. Sterile decor, but still comfortable and welcoming.
Love this place! Great coffee, relaxing atmosphere, and exceptionally friendly customer service. One of my favorite spots to read and study. You guys rock!
Good coffee, good food. The food is made per order so it takes a few extra minuets. The overall atmosphere seemed lacking but in the end its a nice spot to have coffee and a breakfast burrito with friends.
Sufficiently excellent business operation, with swift service, courteous employees, competitive bean juice prices, and abundant seating. Though the east window seating is quite harsh from the days new sun. It is a sad reality that they are from Stillwater. Boomer Sooner!
Great service! Great place to sit and chat or get some work done. The staff is friendly. Is often busy so seating can be limited.
It was OK. I got a mocha and it tasted almost exactly like Cuppies and Joe. We didnt like their decor. Its very bare with white walls. It didnt feel like a coffee shop. I felt like I was at a burger joint.Id say if youre looking for a new regular spot and Aspen is close, give it a shot. Its good coffee. I just wouldnt want to hang out here.Also... The customers here literally dress like theyre in Aspen Colorado. No joke. Lots of puffy vests and flannel. I was having a hard time not chuckling.
Great environment and nice and clean they explain things to you better about your coffee, they have free wifi and a outsude patio to enjoy the weather very friendly place
Its right next to the Cannibus refinery. Great place
The best coffee Ive had in Oklahoma! My only complaint is the seating wasnt very comfortable for staying to study.
I tried there Nicaragua drip and a dirty Chai. Both very good. I got it to go but the the atmosphere seemed very enjoyable. It’s what you would expect from a good coffee shop.
Main downside of going here is that the place gets crowded rather quickly. That, and the location is kind of bad, but much less of a headache than the nearby Starbucks. Service is really good, breakfast + drinks are nice, quality is fairly consistent.
This is becoming a go-to favorite. Their coffee always tastes fresh and they have an interesting selection of different brews. The breakfast burritos (wraps) are very tasty and made fresh. Prices are very reasonable and there is plenty of room to sit down and enjoy your purchase. Oh - and free wifi too.
Been singing the praises of Aspen Coffee since the 90s at the original Stillwater location. The Edmond location features the same great quality. Aspen was one of the first in the state to offer locally roasted coffee to the consumer. You cant beat their Fast Eddies Espresso. One thing that doesnt get mentioned a lot is their superior quality whole bean coffee, which is usually sold for much less than other places whos roasts/blends are comparable if not lacking. Love me some Aspen!
When the lovely coffee smell hits you, you know you are in the right place. Great coffee at good prices. Both hip and rustic - I would love to meet friends here.
I am an OSU Alumn, and I have loved Aspen Coffee since beginning of my undergrad. Each of their locations has such a nice atmosphere. Now that Im down in Edmond, I was excited to learn there was a location here. Ive taken little projects Im working on my laptop on to this location, and the ambience is just perfect for that ideal productive coffeehouse morning vibe. Their drinks are so great too. 💕
Great place that is cozy and friendly. Attracts people of all sorts of different trends. Everything is good from a black coffee to the different types and flavors. Food is average. Better than hanging out at Starbucks.
Great little coffee shop, very friendly, clean environment! They also offer a rewards card which many smaller coffee shops do not do.Ps. Try the cinnamon bun warmed up! Delicious!
There are A LOT of coffee shops in the metro (theres a chance ive been to nearly all of them), but not many hold a candle to this one. A good coffee shop starts with good coffee. Youd think thatd be a no brainer, but some places just havent figured it out. The coffee is so good, they even mask the detestable flavor of sugar free syrups. The pastries are scrumptious. I havent tried any of their other food so I cant vouch for that.Everyone is always very friendly and the service is quick. This location is open and airy. Lots of big tables inside and theres an outside patio area with little tables and chairs. I will be taking advantage of that this fall.My only complaint is that I want another location closer to me! Come a little further west down memorial or maybe put one in the Village? Pretty please?
The staff is friendly and they offer a nice variety of different meal and dessert options. The atmosphere is very relaxing and there are a lot of people on their computers taking care of business and school work.
What is with the service here? not taking names so you can yell out weird coffee names? I saw it done to other people and our order. staff standing around not really being attentive to the people waiting? coffee is good but your service needs to change
My favorite coffee place in town. The staff is marvelous and the coffee is even better. I love their selection of lattes, perfect for sweets and donuts.
Fantastic Coffee. Great staff. Fast internet. And an Owner that actually cares!!!
Great little coffee shop with tons of variety. A staff member introduced me to hammerheads a while back and I will be eternally grateful to them right up until my third heart attack.
Great coffee for great price! The shop has its own individual feel, a great place for meetings etc...if youre looking for a great coffee shop in Edmond I would definitely suggest Aspen Coffee Co.
Solid place. Chill atmosphere, feels more early twenties kind of place.
Great service, friendly smiles. Coffee better than Star****s
Good coffee and breakfast. Its really nice there. Especially on rainy days.
Beautiful place. Blended chai is so yummy.
One of my favorite coffee places! Only drawback is that they are so good, they stay packed. :)
Love this place! Great coffee, great food, great atmosphere! The baristas are awesome too! Goodies made fresh daily!
Tasty brew here on a whirlwind tour of Edmond. I was shocked to hear how Fulfilled Coffee had been pulled out from under the team who started it by family but thankful to find better coffee in town here.
Aspen is growing! And the quality is very consistent. Love them!
Great coffee shop! Love the granita and the Lavender Lattes
