This is a fantastic idea. Some bears are Wal-Mart exclusives and allow all parents and children to enjoy this fun and unforgettable experience together building a special stuffy of their very own. The prices a very reasonable .
The initial thought of having to go into a Super Walmart was a bit cringe for me.. However, the build a bear is right at the front entrance, so you dont have to walk through much to get there. Its pretty small, so if you dont like a crowd, go at a slow time. The process took about 10 to 15 minutes, theres alot of add on $$$ that they try and sell you on and we wanted to be polite and not just cut them off. The staff was super kid friendly and patient, it was clean, staff wore masks, and there were markers on the floors to help one family at a time, plenty of sanitizer handy. It is pricey, especially if you have more than one kiddo, luckily for us there was a buy one get one for $10. We would definitely go again, but only for a birthday or holiday.
Hard to find someone to assist you. Slow check out.
Opened an hour later than advertised and sold out of what was needed.Beware of opening/closing times - probably go at least an hour after they say their open and then maybe an hour before they’re supposed to close? Would be good to call ahead and ask for the specific items you’re wanting so you don’t waste 2 trips!
Ryan was so awesome! Part of the power to the store went out and he hand stuffed our bears! He was great with the kids and they had a fun time!
Excellent store! We enjoyed it so much more than the Penn location and it is so much closer to home. Sarah was great with my daughter and so sweet!
