Went in looking for Little Kings Cream Ale. Didn’t see it so I asked the man who was seated at a desk if they had it. I no sooner had the words out of my mouth when he replied NO. Didn’t even lift his head from looking at his phone. No offer to see if they could get it, nothing. Very rude people. Now when my wife and I drive by there she says “Do you have” and I immediately say “NO” and we both have a good laugh.

Beautifully laid out and very clean! The selection of non alcoholic beverages was extremely exciting to see! I was able to purchase Seedlip non alcoholic spirits and a couple of different bottles of non alcoholic wine! We were in the area visiting relatives and asked where to go for beverages- first and only suggestion!Thank you for carrying such a various selection!! We will for sure be back!

First time there. Place had a bunch of cool items.Several associates walked right past me without asking if I needed help (which I did). I finally went to the counter to ask if they had a certain bottle, she just said, Yeah, its down that aisle and pointed. I had other questions on this certain alcohol but just hunted down the bottle and checked out. Maybe better customer service next time.?

Checked the website and got a very good idea of their inventory, which is why I visited in the first place. This is one of the few places that Ive encountered with B.Nektar beverages, so I bought all the Punk Lemonade they had. Cashier pointed out that its first come first served, so I think he was as entertained with my purchase as I was.

Chad - one of the managers there was unnecessarily as*holish. I came in and asked if there were any Bourbons. Under his breath and real sheepishly he said “everything is out that we have” and then continued to repeat it over again acting very annoyed… look guy, I’m just a customer looking for the bourbons I enjoy. No need for the unprofessionalism.

This place is so much fun to walk through looking for something a little unique for that special someone or even yourself. There are so many choices to choose from, I could spend an hour or more just browsing. Staff was friendly and helpful... Even with a store full of patrons on Christmas Eve.

Really good place if you like price gouging. They have a good selection and pretty good prices on most stuff. But if you are looking for limited releases or rarer stuff be prepared to pay a 200-300% mark up. I was going here for all my beer and whiskey shopping but after seeing a bottle I’ve been looking for on the shelf for 200% mark up I think I have made my last trip here.

A multitude of alcoholic beverages. You can find the cheapest to some of the most expensive labels. Plus, they have all your needs for making your own beers.

Customer service, ambiance. Very enjoyable shopping experience. Selection is considerable, no other nearby (IL) has WELL-BEING Brew (IPA cans and Amber bottles) note to management, stock more varieties esp. Liberty w/electrolytes and Darker brew.

Broken online system. Ordered rare bourbon online only to be refunded a few minutes later. Apparently their online system can’t catch up with in store purchases. Sent email asking for explanation and was responded to by a guy name Mark Maskey with two lines of - - -. Really mature operation you are running hereUpdate: First paragraph was original post. Few months after original post I was banned from ordering online. They played it off like they were worried about fraud with my cc but I was sent to chase and verified it. A couple hours later they said my account had been flagged because of this review apparently(no other plausible reason-see attached photo) lol. Cant make this stuff up. I have never seen such a small amount of power get to someones head. For those of you asking why does it matter if you have to order at store: most stores post allocated(limited) bourbons and beer on their website and these have high values and they sell out quickly.

Amazing selection, clean and orderly but zero staff members offered to help me or even greeted me and I needed help picking out a gift. Super recommend based on the selection but know what youre looking for when you go in because staff was meh. Not even the cashier said bye to me.....

This is my go-to shop for adult beverages. They have a massive selection, and a VERY helpful and friendly staff. I was particularly pleased to see they had my Woodford Reserve Blue Label in stock! I have been impressed with each visit and enjoy browsing their aisles!

A Mecca for finding that well-known or esoteric wine, beer or spirit! A Very Clean, well organized and spacious facility. Lots of space in the aisles that add comfort to your shopping experience. Perfect for a quick trip to get your favorite beverage as well as to explore and compare/contrast previously unknown brands. There is a Large walk-in cooler for beer with a tremendous selection of domestic and imported beer. Definitely a recommended beverage store! 🍻 🍷🥃

Great selection! Pretty much anything you want alcohol related they have it. I also go here for some of my beer brewing supplies. Their brewing supplies stock is a little limited but if I need more malt or hops in hurry theyre the place I go to.

It was an in & out. I beat the crowd super bowl shoppers.

OMG it is huge. If you cannot find it there, you dont need to drink it. They even have my Appalachian Sipping Cream in stock. I love it.

Friendly, clean but they dont keep in stock the Korbel I like. There are many choices of beer, wines, bourbon, whiskey or moonshine. Prices are very competitive. Have shopped many times & will continue.

I was visiting from Alabama and could not find a decent selection anywhere and then I though to myself, maybe I should check google. And wouldnt you know, google came to the rescue and I found Friar Tucks. The place has the best selection I have ever seen anywhere. I was like a kid in a candy store accept Im a 31yo man and it was a package store... staff was extremely helpful.

This was my first time in Friar Tuck. I was impressed by the selection and I didnt even enter the immense cooler. This was neat to see the selection of wines. I purchased a bottle of Stoli vodka for $8 and Jeremiah Weed cinnamon whiskey for $9. Score!!

Extensive inventory of wine, beer, liquor. The staff is helpful if you are looking for something specific. Premium brands are behind locked cases. The staff s pretty quick to come to open them. You get a discount if you buy 6 or 12 bottles of wine. Would not hesitate to return.

Great selection. Can be a bit overwhelming if you dont know what you are looking for. Great prices too.Their website will claim they carry something only to find out they dont when you get there.It is very difficult to get someone to assist you. So if you are looking for recommendations or an opportunity to taste something, good luck. Also, some of their higher priced items are locked up and I typically spend about 10 minutes waiting for someone to free my chosen liquor.However, due to selection, location, and prices, I still think this place is better then average.

Really well-stocked and clean place! Ive only been once, but Im very happy with the variety, pricing, and atmosphere. When I went, it wasnt busy at all, either. Lots of parking available and lots of fun gift additions at the checkout if youre buying someone a bottle. And if you dont drink, they have a section with fun local and organic non-alcoholic choices!

Friar Tucks made a mistake on an online price for wine. I purchased it online and the amount was pending on my account. Once they discovered it was a mistake on their part, THEY cancelled my order!! Now my charge on the account is still pending of more than $250 for the next week +. Horrible customer service and IMPOSSIBLE to get in contact with anyone who has any say in this company. Deans liquor in Collinsville is significantly cheaper, much better customer service and offers a frequent buyers card for 15% off purchase price. I’ll never shop Friar Tucks again!! Small local business is the way to go

This visit was not 5 stars BUT every other time I have been there it has been. Usually find unique items I cannot find elsewhere. Always get the 6 bottle discount and usually they have a wine tasting with an abundance of staff. I went on a Sunday this time and it seemed like a Skelton crew, no very knowledgeable or available.

Watch what you are charged! I ordered a case of wine online & received a confirmation number & total price. When I picked it up in store, I was charged considerably more. Cashier first said the price on my confirmation was before taxes. When I persisted, he spent a ridiculous amount of time on their computer trying to find the price I was quoted - which I had already found on their website on my cellphone & had available to show to him. Finally got the correct price but only after waiting about 10 minutes.

Amazing selection of craft beer. Good selection of loose bottles and sixpacks. Some unique stuff and mainstream too. Whiskey selection is great with good wine and spirits as well. Prices are pretty normal but the selection will bring me back.

I was shocked at the huge selection of every type of beverage I was looking for. The store was well organized and really clean. The staff was helpful locating what I was looking for.

I dont go to an alcohol store like this for alcohol I can get anywhere, I come here for the stuff that is harder to find. This place consistently has the hard to find Whiskies, Ports, and Scotches.
