Hope you dont have to deal with Rick. As you can call him multiple times and not get a call back. Wait a week or more to get a simple question answered. Then if you go into the store he acts like your bothering him.

They were helpful end knowledgeable. The seem to have most of what I need for my house. I would recommend them above Lowes or home Depot. But Ive tried believe in granite City although small still has the best most knowledgeable staff I have yet encountered. Ill update on 84 lumber as I get more experience with their store but they seem really good and are close to me.

It has been a frustrating experience to work with this company. I’ve been trying to purchase some closet doors for a couple of weeks. Came in on a Saturday and was told by Donna I couldn’t place an order because the vendor was closed that day. Ok.... return a week later to place the order. Call a couple of weeks ago (on a Friday) to check on the status of my order and was told by Donna she couldn’t find it. Blake gets on the phone and tells me one door is on back order and he will personally call me on Monday to let me know the status. TEN DAYS LATER (today 11/13/19) I call back only to speak with Donna who (surprise, surprise) doesn’t know anything about my order. Just got off the phone with Donna to find out one door is still on back order for 4-6 weeks. I asked her for the order date and was told it was Monday (11/11/19). This is not possible as I was at work all day and never contacted the store. I am beyond frustrated at this point and will be looking elsewhere for future purchases. I want to buy local but this experience has been terrible.

Great place to get supplies, always high quality products and helpful service. You will pay a little more than some of the box stores, but it is usually worth it.

I have been doing business with RP for over 35 years. There is a reason for having 69 or more lumberyards, competitive with Lowes and Home Depot.

The manager Tim could not have been better to deal with.Roger who did the delivery was also great.This level of customer service is very rare these days especially in the home improvement industry.

Ona Mae who works in Kitchen and Bath is a very helpful assistant at RP in Edwardsville. She is very informative and always quick to answer questions and provide quotes efficiently. I commend her for excelling in customer service.

R. P. Lumber is always helpful with all your Lumber and home needs. Locally owned. Store wont walk you to death just to buy some hardware items. Lumber on site.

$7 delivery...no minimum??? Who does that? Rp does. I only wish they carried rock. Great customer service every time I go in or phone In an order. The wood is in better shape than home depot or lowes as well.

Their prices are little bit higher than other lumber stores, but are well stacked
