Love this store. First time here. I normally go to the one in Fairview heights. Long wait times and was told misinformation by an old employee. But this store...... The young lady who helped us was freakin awesome. She answered all my questions and concerns. And everything she told me was true. I know that should be normal and nothing special. Shes just doing her job right....... But it means so much to me to just smile and give good service. I forgot her name but she would remember me and my wife. Thanks so much!!
Not a good experience. Sales rep basically admitted the TV commercials luring you in are deceptive and lies. The way you get that iPhone13 is buying it. No real incentive to leave dreadful ATT even though I want to. Waste of my time visiting.

Talked to an associate named Merrisa about a new phone. She was very helpful and very informative.
Terrible. Failed to transfer my phone number correctly, so I spent an entire month unable to log into my account for billing or request service fixes. No one in store could resolve, they’re useless salaries. Finally contacted a “Robert” in their customer service who was able to properly do what the in store members could not. Finally have service and can access my account just in time for them to slap a fee on my account for being past due. I fully regret transferring to Verizon. Do yourself a favor and do NOT use the Edwardsville branch. They are the ones that have earned one star.
We made an appointment and still did not get helped until 40 minutes past the appointment time. Still, the only thing the associate could tell us was our problem could not be handled in the store and we needed to call a number ourselves to fix it.
They help and gave us our phone and didnt help us set our phone.
The associate was very helpful and also very courteous. They waited on me promptly and I was very pleased with the information I received from them.

One of the LARGEST CELL PHONE COMPANY AND YOU CANNOT FIGURE OUT A COVID SAFE WAY TO OPEN STORE TO HELP YOUR CUSTOMERS. NOT TO MENTION IVE BEEN ON HOLD FOR A HOUR NOW TO ACTIVATE A 1200.00 PHONE AND IT WILL NOT WORK NO APPOINTMENTS TILL MONDAY.TERRIBLE RE-OPENING PLAN.
I had the worst experience ever with the supposedly manager of the store. He was rude crude and very negative. Instead of helping explain what to do to get calls on the truck he got belligerent. Instead of explaining to my husband that the phone and truck have to be paired using settings he is saying he can’t come next to the truck because there was no cameras there. You have signs saying to stay in the cars and someone will be out to talk to you. We had just been in there and bought one new phone. My husband is 78 years old and a veteran and deserves a little respect. He was wearing his navy hat! It should have been simple.

Refused to help me disconnect my line since I opened a new Verizon account under my parents. I was also forced to wait outside the entire time when they told me this. The staff saw me and did nothing and told me they were unable to help me.

I was Visiting my daughter who attends SIUE. I came into this store simply to pay off her phone as a birthday gift. David assisted me and the only reason I remember that is because he noticed I was wearing a US Navy hat and he thanked me for my service and shook my hand. I looked at his name tag and let him know people rarely say that anymore. He was a young guy but made an impression with me. Once my wife and I finish our contract we will switch and join my daughters account.
We came in today to switch phone providers. We were greeted by a very nice and polite gentleman named JJ. He answered every question we had and made sure we have everything we needed. He definitely made our experience with Verizon a great one.

Everyone was very helpful! I almost didnt go because of the negative reviews, but everyone was friendly & courteous. Jackie provided exceptional assistance throughout the entire process. The manager greeted me upon walking through the door to check me in. Dont listen to the other reviews, seriously, this place was awesome. I have to assume that the other reviews were written by AT&T employees.
Wont deal on prices at all. Going to Spectrum to save money. I even have a 20% discount with Verizon and Spectrum can still beat the price by more than 50 bucks a month. Oh, the only pitch they had was to tell me that Spectrum operates on their decommissioned towers, which is a lie, to try and scare people that the service will not be the same. NOT COOL!!!
Alicia Smith is a champion!! She patiently helped my husband set up a new phone without complaining, even though she was not the person who sold him the new Iphone. Basically not earning a sale, but happily serving. Thank you Alicia, great job!!!
Staff is always helpful and friendly. The way they service customers is organized. First come, first served. They take their time to answer all your questions and make sure they serve all your wireless phone and electronic device needs.
Scott did a fantastic job helping us return and exchange our phone. On our second trip we had virtually no wait. Scott was well informed of the programs and options. He explained everything in terms we could easily understand. I was simply impressed with the level of service.

Ive been with Verizon for about 20 years and today was the worst service ever. First the sales lady continued to push my boys concerns away like they were not important and then sent us away with very little instructions on how to transfer and get our phones to work. Then when calling customer service they didnt have a clue. One would think if you spend three thousand dollars at a business they would make sure everything was good and worked before you left.
Had trouble removing a charged app from Verizon. We had an employee at their store spend whatever time it took to get it right. Her name was Marissa. She deserves a lot of credit. I know they work on commission. Good job Marissa.

$50 phone protector shattered during application. Employee lied about not being able to accept return/replacement, website return policy said different, that there is a 30 day no questions asked period for returns. Eventually got money back by talking to different employee. Just be careful about taking what they say at face value I guess..
They need more help. It is always a looong wait to get help. 😞
I had been a Verizon customer for 2 years, and had reached the end of my prior contract. I went into the Verizon store in Glen Carbon ready to buy and re-up for a new term, and remain a Verizon customer. The only requirements I specified to the store agent was that I wanted a phone with a swappable battery, and a credit card case. He more or less scoffed at me like why would you want THAT, EVERYONE has gone away from a swappable battery!! Then, when asked which phones would work with a credit card case, he refused to help me figure it out. At one point, I was left to google on my old phone in the store to try and figure it out. I was truly ready to purchase a new phone and go on my merry way. Instead, I switched to the AT&T store down the road and got EXCELLENT customer service. Yes, they actually walked me through the choices, and helped me research which phones would fit my needs.Bad, bad, bad experience at the Glen Carbon Verizon store, they completely missed the mark here.UPDATE 2/2/16: I am NOT an AT&T employee! I was able to speak with Verizon Corporate and they fixed the situation, got me hooked up with a new phone back on the Verizon Network, and provided great customer service. So I have upgraded the review from 1 star to 4 stars, but the rating is based NOT on the store and the one employee (possibly Amad was his name?) but rather the Verizon Corporate stepping in and fixing the problem the store should never have let happen in the first place.
Went in for tech support on a device. I got not only support, but the tech suggested that I switch our individual device insurance from the 3 devices to the plan insurance for the same price. What?! Save me some money overall? Awesome job Verizon!
The phone service is cool, but the store service is average. I went there for a simple issue and ended up spending about 90 minutes there. Other than that, I cant really say anything else. My issue was resolved and I havent had a problem with Verizon since. I would recommend the phone service, but I hope that they improve their store experiences for customers.

Brought my 82 yr old mother in to purchase a Samsung Note 5 for mothers day. The service person was very patient and you can imagine how important that was. Plus, he actually spoke to my mother, too! She really enjoyed the experience. The Note 5 is awesome! I loved setting it up for her. Nice device for older users who struggle with smaller screens. Mom loves looking at pics on it. Really easy adjustment from her Galaxy S3. Im surprise marketing isnt targeting older users in Moms niche. With all of us younger people traveling and living away, the Note 5 is so much easier for the elders to use than an iPad. When the new Note arrives, Im going to switch from my Galaxy S6. I love writing on screen with the pen.
Excellent service! There because ones of my phones died under warranty. They quickly took care of the problem and shipped a replacement that arrived the next day.

I gave an initial bad review after the first time I stepped in, but in their defense I may have been grumpy. Honestly, I was treated very well. The salesperson we spoke with was very knowledgeable, and patient to my unending ignorance. The worst part of the experience was perhaps having to wait 15 minutes, but when every sales person is talking to a different customer it can hardly be helped. Overall, I was very happy with my experience upon leaving.

Phone had no service for two days. Took it into the store. Told them my problem. Made me wait 40 minutes to tell me there was nothing that could be done to fix my problem other than send my phone in and pay full retail because there was a small crack or go see apple. Went home, took out sim card and put it back in just to see if it would do anything. Works fine now. Thanks for the help and wasting my time.

Stopped at the Verizon store in Edwardsville and the salesman was terrible. I was tryin to help my father find a new phone and Winston (the employee that helped us) did close to nothing. He couldnt even answer some of our basic questions about the phones (i.e. Battery life and durability). What really irritated me was when the phones alarm went off he didnt even attempt to turn it off. The guy literally just stood there and said Oh theyll (coworkers) get. I will not be shopping here any longer.
I had a horrible experience with two male employees. Verizon was overcharging me for months for a mistake one of the other male employees at this store made. When I came in to try to get my account credited the manager would not believe me and instead told me that his employee was incapable of making such a mistake (sexism at its finest), and would not credit me back the full amount. He was argumentative, hostile and demeaning. I then called corporate and was attended by a female representative. Without question she automatically credited my account. So obviously this manager was capable of crediting my account but instead chose to dismiss me.

Nothing against thr Verizon phone service, its great. The customer service at this store is THE WORST. They will lie to you and over charge you. Took 3 hours to get our acct setup and it was still wrong. Added insurance we didnt want and double charged us with 2 sets of 6GB data to share between 2 phones when we only wanted 1. Go to Russell wireless in wood river.
