This Walgreens is the most inefficient drugstore I have ever dealt with. I have attempted at 3 different times to go to their drive up window during open hours and found it not occupied by a customer service person. I could see people in the area but no one paying attention to the window. After waiting for a period of time I went inside to pick up my prescription and asked about the pick up window. I was told sure it was open then saw someone finally walk over to the window. If the pick up window can not be properly be staffed then do not advertise that it is sn option for pick up. Also when attempting to pick up my prescription the person helping me seemed confused as to where all of my order was located. It was not a good experience at this location.

I got my first Covid Vaccine here, and it was great experience. Called back later with questions and the pharmacist was so helpful and very kind. Get my second Covid Vaccination next week and she shared her experience and was quite comforting.

This place is filthy. The bathroom has urine and fecal matter everywhere. Literally everywhere. The sinks have never been properly cleaned. Scum and dirt everywhere. Clean this store and burn the bathrooms.

Please know that this store is not responsible for the credit card fraud that most of the recent reviews mention. The issue is with Walgreens.com, but because this store is the closest location to the online Walgreens distribution center, the payment claims it’s coming from this store on the credit card statement. If you do have this issue the store employees are happy to give you the number of Walgreens distributors to try and rectify any issues.

I have been to this Walgreens for years, I have never had any major issues at this pharmacy. I just recently moved back to Illinois and read negative reviews about this place. I honestly dont know what those people are talking about. I still go here, no problems. They might be a little busy, but just remember, you are not the only person in the world.

*BEWARE OF FRAUD*Im from Nevada and I noticed a fraudulent transaction coming from this Walgreens on my bank account. This Walgreens is 1,880 miles away from me. Employees should be trained to card people when paying with card. After reading all the reviews this place has I wasnt surprised I had fraud. I hope the people who did this get what they deserve.

Im another victim of credit card fraud. Live in Australia. When I checked this store online straight after the transaction (instant bank transaction notification), I found that it was closed at the time.Ok, just read a few other reviews which said the store is aware of the multiple frauds and is investigating. These reviews are 4 and 5 months old. Whats taking so long?

This store is fully aware of the issue with the fraudulent transactions linking back to this location. If you are experiencing a fraudulent charge, DO NOT CALL THIS STORE. It isnt their fault, Capitol One had an information breach and TONS of peoples information was stolen. The E-commerce HQ is located in Edwardsville and you need to get that number if you want to complain/find out what happened, not this particular store! Im sure they deal with this day in and day out, people getting angry and yelling over the phone -- be respectful and understand this is not within their control NOR IS IT THEIR FAULT! Its Capitol Ones. Take that into consideration and get a new card.

Pharmacy drive-up window takes a very long time.Update:Never got a phone call or text when my prescription was ready even though I signed up for it. Called and was told my prescription was ready, however walked inside after my experience with the drive thru and it still was not ready.

I wont get into specifics, but the pharmacy had made errors in filling prescriptions. I am not sure why, but the staff often appears rushed, frazzled. I dont know how the staffing works, but if theyre not understaffed, perhaps they need new staff. I am guessing this is why errors are being made.

The lines can take forever depending on the pharmacist but the new pharmacist, a young woman with blonde hair, is fast and efficient. I like her a lot. The staff can be frazzled depending on what pharmacist is on staff, but they try their best. It is rough when they have to ask for “barcode” every other transaction, but I asked one of them, a young woman with green hair, and she said it was state law. She and I had a good chat while we waited for an older woman pharmacist to get to us, though.It just depends on the pharmacist you get, but everyone is eager to help you, and if you have questions, ask them. I didn’t know why they kept asking for a “barcode” and then I asked and it turns out it isn’t something they can control at all.

This pharmacy is very bad at helping customers.... One pharmacist Amy refused to answer questions about my husbands drug side effects... He has Alzheimers and I have to fill and maintain his medications.... Amy cant be bothered and rarely gets his pwrsciptions right. I left this store tonight after finally getting his insurance to pay for his medication to stabilize his mood and she made me wait for over 3 hrs... Then refused to answer my concerns about said medicine....

I read almost all the reviews and this place is a total dump, so I am not shocked that this happened to me with this location. The fraud calls have nothing to do with this pharmacy or the store. Walgreens has a distribution center that’s also located in Edwardsville where the e-commerce location is. When a fraud charge happens it sends these calls to this store where they are redirected To 1-800 number. It’s unfortunate this store takes the hit for something that occurred online

Slowest pharmacy service. They had one person helping and he was working the drive thru and the line of 6 people standing there. Some lady in a white coat decided she needed to do other things and ignore the line. He had to ask her to scan her barcode every time he checked someone out. I stood in line for 15 minutes and only 1 person was helped bc he then went to help the drive thru. That pharmacist needs to get over her self and help the people waiting in line instead of talking to the other employees.

Perfect walgreens, clean, and you get a lot more than one might expect from here. They have really stepped up their game with the basic household essentials. The photo service is also very quick with the one hour photo, definitely preferable to Walmart.

I have used Walgreens pharmacy for over 30 years. I am one to see the glass half full and not half empty but sadly the pharmacy department at this Walgreens deserves barely 1 Star.After the last year of utilizing the automatic refill for a migraine prescription medication, this pharmacy has not only dropped my automatic refill for no reason but failed to refill my prescription in a reasonable time. Twice, I have had refilled this prescription and resulted in waiting over two weeks and today’s experience at 21hours. When I call to check if the prescription was ready for pick up, the walgreen pharmacy recording responds “it is in process and waiting to hear back from the doctor.” Normally, that would be okay if you were truly waiting on the doctor. When it happened the first time I was waiting two weeks and calling 3 times to speek to a pharmacist. When I spoke to the pharmacist personally, I was told they are “waiting for the doctor to receive the fax”. I specifically had to tell the pharmacist or technician that maybe if it had been two weeks they should call the doctor!So today, the second incident with this store, I sit here after reordering my migraine prescription last night at 5pm and now the prescription is not ready after 21 hours waiting because they waiting to hear from the doctor. I personally had to call my doctor this morning to tell them Walgreens sent them a fax last night, which is sitting on their machine at the office that is not even open. My doctor had called Walgreens herself and called the prescription in at 1000am today and still four hours later and no one is able to take a call, and status is still unchanged and the prescription is not filled. I have found that calling on the phone only disconnects me after 30 minutes of being in hold.Walgreens has not helpe me at all but only has added to my migraine at this point. Therefore, I will be taking my business elsewhere such as CVS or express scripts where getting a prescription refilled is not a debacle every time and getting your medicine means experiencing a business that cares, efficient in their services they provide, and customer service that is availabe!

Absolutely terrible. Lying about when the last time prescriptions were picked up (that or they didn’t give the right number of pills last time), not having important medication ready for pickup on time. Rude, inconsiderate staff. Unwilling to help. Never using this pharmacy again.

I have yet to have a good experience at this pharmacy. And at this point I wont.Visit 1: They say they cant tell if my insurance (Humana Tricare) applies. Didnt get medication.Visit 2: They scramble because they dont know how to do my insurance. I have to call my family to walk to get them to learn their own job as my family goes to one that actually knows. Yay medication.Visit 3: They havent gotten my medication after I called to check. No medication. But the have my other meds somehow.Visit 4: Turns out they cant fill it. The base has it and we didnt bother to tell you that before. No medication. I go to the base instead.Visit 5: They lost my meds for 10 minutes. Turns out it was in the MA bucket.. my last name is Mason. Dude looked everywhere except there first. I tell them how literally the same people standing feet away did my insurance before, they dont do my suggestion and instead ask me a ton of questions about my account that they have never had to asked before. 20 minutes later I ask whats up and one woman gets an attitude with me. Another (the only one there that has ever been even a tiny bit helpful in all my visits) tells me that they arent even dealing with the insurance issue anymore and in fact the base has the order so they cant fill it until its canceled at the base. Which btw is backlogged on calls... 30 minutes late to class after this 40 minute visit (was expecting to be only a few minutes), they now have asked me the perfect amount of info in public to have my identity stolen, and STILL. NO. MEDICATION.I now have to go a week before I can have someone else go to Scott for my medication because Im in class until after the base is closed.Never. Again.Done with this place. They dont properly train their employees. Run them out of business so someone with real service can replace them.

Not one to complain but here I find myself making a review. Yesterday was by far the worst experience I had with Edwardsville Walgreens. They are typically slow so I try to call in but they were never rude until yesterday. I had to get an over counter medicine so I went in and had to get my prescription. The pharmacist Amy was very impolite and disregarding the fact that I had been waiting nearly ten minutes to be helped. Once helped, the pharmacist went out of her way to ask what medicine I needed then DIDNT fill it. While I was standing right in front of her (even had called two hours prior) then the gentlemen she was working with went to the drivers side helped them, called a lady who had 7 prescriptions all before me.. as I’m still waiting and now the pharmacist Refilled it but PUT IT NEXT TO HER!! And started doing other things. Never have I experienced such a rude team!

Not a pleasant day shopping at Walgreens the other day a guy with glasses and gelled hair was not nice and ignored me as I was ask for help then when finally realized that I was trying to speak with him it seemed he was clueless to help find the new Doritos chips was looking for Im not sure his name because he wasnt wearing a name tag and he was also busy with his phone probably texting his mistress or something not good service if u ask me
