Just visited Otherside Games to purchase our starter kit of Magic: The Gathering! Our son and his wife play this and we want to be able to play with them when they visit. We are complete newbies but Alex (the owner) was very patient with us, explaining the basic ins and outs and helping us to choose our cards and pieces. He did not try to up sell us and his pricing was on point with what our kids said they should be. The store is clean, well stocked, and had a nice area for group play with several tables. Definitely recommend and will absolutely return as we build up our MTG set!

The definition of a cozy game store. Staff is always excited to answer any questions. Prices for in-demand products like Pokemon cards are sold for a legit, honest price, and not egregiously marked up in effort to make a quick buck. You can tell that this business was created in effort to share love of the tabletop hobby. Please do all you can to support them!

Glad to see a community of people playing games.in the back. It creates a great atmosphere. I wish that they had all of thier stock priced so I didnt have to keep asking the associate to check them for me. They have a good variety of stuff which is great because otherwise, I would have to look online.

As a person that likes playing games with my family, it is wonderful to be able to go into a place, have the owner recognize me, and be able to offer suggestions for which game we would like. He asks questions of what games you like and then helps find something in the right category. Hell even help you learn how to play!

This is a great store, the only shortcoming is the size. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff is friendlier still. The selection in Magic singles is a little low but this store is amazing at both sealed product and events. This store also has a great selection in tabletop games and miniatures.They hand promos out like candy.

My go to shop for war gamming

A great location and the owner and staff are very knowledgeable about the games and comics that they sell. Also there are several large tables to play games as well as almost nightly activities by several groups that host games and card tournaments. Highly recommended!

Also, I couldnt possibly say enough good things about the owner, Alex. He is extremely knowledgeable about all the products he sells and he is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Retail area is a bit small, and therefore limited, but the area in the rear for playing games is nice and large without being echo-y
