Clean store, pleasant employees BUT no enforcement of mask wearing or social distancing. You would think that a store with a pharmacy would be a bit more concerned about health and safety for people picking up medications.
Although nearly every time I visit the pharmacy here they are very busy the staff is very friendly. The pharmacist always has a consultation with me every time I have a pickup. Wait times can be a little excessive at times. But given the fact that they are almost always smoking busy that is to be expected. Once they have your insurance card on file you dont have to produce it again. The store itself is pretty good as well. They have the standard convenience store stuff with prices that arent out of control. Overall a pretty good shopping experience. Well as good as can be expected when you are picking up prescription drugs. 4 to 6PM seems to be there busiest times. They also have a photo processing station there too.
Lousy experience with pharmacy @ Effingham, IL, so rude. I will not be returning as I have had many issues with the staff and their incompetence.
I have never gave a one star review, but that pharmacy is a joke. Very rude head pharmacist that was a Male and wanted nothing to do with trying to figure out a solution for the problem. My business will not make or brake this store but we will never use them again. I have had many bad experiences with this place on the pharmacy side.
Good store, however earlier today I went to get two mega monster energy drinks and I read a sign that said I could get 2 for 5.29. I got 2 and brought them to the cashier and when she scanned them it said they cost 7.50. Not a huge issue as I really didn’t need 2, didn’t argue or anything, I just said 1 is fine. I’d like to know why there is a sign that says that when they don’t really cost 5.29 for both? Last time I went I got 2 for 5.29. Please remove the signs if the sales are no longer available.
Would give them no stars as my experience with their service is so poor I plan on never going back. The pharmacy staff, one woman in particular has been so rude on several occasions, that they have completely alienated me from patronizing this store.
I absolutely NEVER EVER leave anyone bad reviews, although, after calling and getting no answer from the pharmacy in Effingham Illinois, for 3 hours I finally logged in and made an online appointment to get a flu shot. I got my confirmation and took off work to be there on time. When I got there that gal behind the counter told me they had been out of the flu shot for several days, I told her I had an appointment, she smirked and informed me that the online appointments do not mean a thing and that I should have called. I explained to her that I did call for 3 hours and no answer, she said she answered every call. Not her problem. I will never go back and will never ever recommend anyone to go there.
Thank you Sarah for making our visit quick and painless. Great service.
Friendly and efficient in Pharmacy. The checkout people need to be a little more proactive so people go to the right aisle. Very clean.
Went to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes and they would call me back to the counter to pick it up when it was ready. Watched the pharmacy employees leave the store after having closed the pharmacy down and was left to find out I wouldnt be getting my prescription because they just closed down and left. Talked to another employee and told they were leaving and that there was nothing they could do.
The large woman working at the pharmacy counter was very loud and obnoxious. She decided to announce my medication. Her name is Erin Evans. I called corporate. I am taking my business elsewhere.
This pharmacy dropped the ball in a HUGE way. I was to have a very important injection on this day and this day only. The injection was called in a week in advance, confirmed by the pharmacy with my doctors office and even called in to my insurance to get it pre-certified but the pharmacy failed to order the injection. Very unprofessional. They called 3 other pharmacies to see if they have it but once they placed those calls they were done with the situation. Very very upsetting. I would not recommend anyone going to this pharmacy.
Came to fill a script after having baby, they say 1hr wait, come back 3 hours later after being released and they tell me to wait another 30min, I hope they didnt go to college to be this damn stupid, walmart will treat you better and thats sad.
The customer service at this store is terrible!! I looked for someone for a good 10 minuets then when I finally found a worker as he was wizzing by I happened to get in an “excuse me” when he turned around and said what do you want? Ugh 😕 Well I was wondering if you happened to have any of this particular product, well if it’s not on the shelf we don’t have it.......without even looking to see what I was talking about 😐 customer service is an art form that has apparently been lost at this store!! This is not the only instance where this has happened, it’s just this one that tipped the scale!
Terrible service. Waited longer to get prescription than at the doctors office. We were there 45 minutes and I overheard one of the workers ask if anyone was filling prescriptions and they said no. Go somewhere else unless you have all day to sit and wait and be ignored.
My level of frustration is so high I really feel I need to explain how difficult it is to get my prescriptions filled. A pharmacy should fill a prescription regardless of insurance paying or not paying. Walgreens should not be in the business of making a decision on a persons ability to pay or not pay. They should fill prescriptions and then let the patient decide not deny them the prescription because they are assuming you can not afford out of pocket cost. I called my prescriptions in and recorder gave me a time the next day for pickup. I went in to pickup and was told they were not ready because I needed more prescription than my insurance allows despensed for the allotted period. I explained that my doctor knows that I live out of the country for a longer period of time than 90 days therefore I am allowed to get more medication with the understanding that I will have to pay out of pocket. She looked on my file and said if I was willing to wait 20 minutes she could fill 2 of my medications but the third they do not keep on stock. I said since I had to come back I would pick them all up the next day. So today for the third I wait patiently for quite a while at the drive through window to pick up my prescription. To my astonishment she tells me I have 2 prescriptions to pick and I said no I have 3. She said your insurance won’t pay for it and it cost $400+ and I said I understand that I have to pay out of pocket for all my medication. She said I don’t have it ready can you come back in 15 minutes. OMG seriously! I am begging to pay these people. So now I will go back tomorrow for the 4th time to pick up prescriptions 😫.
Pharmacy staff is always stressed and service is always very slow.
Quick and friendly service Good prices on most products.
Great place! Hooked me with my script price! Thank you
Customer service at the pharmacy was horrible, prescription was called in 30-40 min before arriving, when I arrived said it was not ready and be 15 minutes, came back 20minutes later some short manager guy in grey vest said its done just needs checked in by the pharmacist, whom was standing right there next to my script and I was the only one there waiting and he said still needed to wait until pharmacist can get to it. All the he had to do is ask the pharmacist if he could check my script in which he was standing next to but didnt say a single word to him. And the pharmacist was just messing with something on the computer screen I guess to busy to take two minutes of his time for a cash paying customer because I do not carry insurance on myself not do I have state aid insurance always pay cash!! This is not the first time something like this has happened at this pharmacy. If wait times are going to be longer than 15 minutes which they always are then they should tell people 30 minutes minimum!! And if people come through the drive ups for scripts and are dropping off for refills then they should post signs that tell them to come back later instead of backing up the line by waiting on it to be filled when there could be people behind them just picking up there scripts which takes couple minutes if its actually ready!! Needs major improvement on the way pharmacy is ran!! Will not be going back for refills for a long time if at all!!
Horrible service I had prescription sent over to get filled there 2 hours later I go to pick it up and they inform me they are out of that ( thanks for calling and letting me know) So I ask them what I need to do and they stated they where busy and I should call around and see if anywhere else in town has it because if they have to it will take longer so I call around find a place in town that has it call Walgreens back and ask them to transfer it over ok but it will be an hour or so because the pharmacist is giving shots then I have to wait for the next place to receive it and fill it 3 hours later I might get to go home.
The most annoying answering system. You have to listen to a loooong intro before you get to hear how to contact Pharmacy. Poor Customer phone service.
