Sehy and Jones is a great office. I couldn’t decide between a few pairs of glasses so they let me bring them home for a week to try them out. I have worn glasses since second grade and been to many offices. This was the first time I had this option. They are all nice and explain things well. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! My most recent appointment here was excellent. Scheduling my annual checkup was very easy. Since I had been here before I was texted and called that I was due for a new appt. Upon calling I was greeted by a friendly employee over the phone and was able to easily schedule an appt that worked with my schedule. When arriving I was greeted by a warm/friendly front desk receptionist who checked me in seamlessly before briefly sitting in the reception room before my name was called. Some common eye tests were performed by a friendly and knowledgeable employee before another brief time in the reception room. Dr Matthew Jones then came to check my eyes. He did a great job at explaining what he was doing, what he saw and what he recommended doing next. Lastly I was helped by another friendly guy that explained and helped me finish my appt by helping me pick out new frames/lenses and explaining the cost of each. I appreciated everything that each employee did to provide great customer service!I would definitely recommend!!

I can not recommend Dr. Sehy enough!! I used to see him and recently returned, the amount of time he is willing to spend with me and his vast knowledge coupled with the top of the line equipment they have is just amazing. The office was very concerned about about the health and safety of their patients. I saw Dr. Woods for the first time and he and the staff were excellent and I had one of the best eye exams ever.

Usually see Dr. Matthew Jones, but he was out of office. I saw Dr. Sehy this time, and it was as though I had always been seeing him. He was able to pick up and continue as though he has always been my DR. I am always impressed with the care given by everyone from the front desk, to the assistants doing the prep work, to the DR in the exam room, to the team helping pick out and order the frames. Everyone is always great and able/ready to give assistance at any time. The entire team knows what they are doing and dont make it feel like a visit to a DRs office at all.

They are friendly people and great with kids. Dr. Jones is one of kind my daughter loves him. He is great with kids and treats you like family. I wouldnt go anywhere else 😊

I have been going to this office since my first pair of glasses in 2nd grade. The staff is friendly and helpful and the doctors are very knowledgeable. They are very good about making sure you get the best deal through your insurance and also get any rebate offers for contact lenses. I am very happy with them.

My daughter was suffering from chronic headaches. She would wake up in the morning with her hand on her head and couldnt do anything all day. She missed 18 days of school and we were seriously worried about her. We took her to an optometrist in Champaign and they said her eyes were fine. We had an MRI, we took her in for a sleep study, ran all kinds of tests and could not find out what was wrong with her. Then we took her to Dr. Matthew for a second opinion. He spent well over an hour examining her and found that she did indeed need glasses. The next day after being fitted with glasses, her headaches went away. My wife and I cannot say enough about how much we appreciate how thorough and professional Dr. Matthew was with our daughter and how grateful we are for his discovery of the real problem.

Ive been going to Dr. Mike and Brian Sehy for 43 years and have always found them to be very accomodating and friendly. I have never had a bad experience with my visits. The office staff is extrememly friendly and helpful. I definitely would recommend them to family and friends. You only have one set of eyes and I do not trust mine to any other doctor but Dr. Sehy!

I am so frustrated with this office. I was seen on the 14th. Today is the 4th. I ordered glasses nearly 3 weeks ago. I called last week because I was told it was going to be a week and a half to 2 weeks until I get them. They told me they didnt put the order in until the 20th so it should be the beginning of December until I get them.. Ok fine. I called today and they said they do not have them. The lens came in and they were incorrect so they had to send them back to get fixed. I asked how long that would take and they said it just depends. I explained I was frustrated because my eyes are so dry wearing contacts and I have no other glasses and I was hoping it wouldnt take this long. I barely got a response. I stayed calm and said ok, I guess I will be expecting a call from you then and hung up. I have no issue with the Doctor and really not the staff. Im disappointed in the fact that I didnt get an apology. I would have just really appreciated that. An apology for not putting a patients health first by getting in the order on time.. the rest is really the lab which I know they dont have control over. Ill give them the benefit of the doubt since Ive never had this issue before.. and Ill most likely go back because I trust the doctor.. but a little compassion goes a long way. I get it.. Im in dentistry.. a lot of times, things arent in your control.. but for the things you screw up and are in your control... say sorry. Its not hard.

Excellent service, very knowledgable staff and doctors, excellent use of the most current technology to assist in diagnosis and maintenance of eye health, wide choice of frame selection... We have tried the other guys across the road, and there is no comparison. Sehi and Jones are hands down the best at what they do, and there is no cost saving to be had - in my opinion, the other guys are less knowledgable, there is less selection on frames, and definitely less use of current technology. We will never stray again!!

I have been to that place twice, but now I no longer go there. Number one reason is they are not in network with my insurance. They billed my vision insurance the first time, and billed my health insurance the second time for a dry-eye evaluation, and unfortunately I did not know that they werent in network with my health insurance, and nobody there mentioned anything about my coverage (I am in nursing, and I know for sure part of a healthcare workers responsibility is to make sure a patients expenses are covered as much it possible), but sadly they didnt tell me a word. So I was surprised with an over $ 150 bill that my insurance refused to cover a penny. I had to their accounting and begged for a discount because I couldnt afford to pay it off.Service wise, on my first visit, the prep staff just brushed me through a bunch of tests that I wasnt sure what they were for, and almost zero communication, but the doctor I saw was friendly and thorough, which was the main reason I went back for a second visit. The second visit wasnt as effective as I expected, Dr. Matthew Jones, if I remember right, insisted that I have dry eyes, and recommended an immuno-suppressive eye drop, for which I forgot what it was called. I did a little research, it was for sever dry eye for the elderly. To me, that was like killing a fly with a machine gun, and after being out of school for two months, my eyes kind of healed on their own, and I am glad I didnt buy those eye drops that wont take effect for at least 6 months. Another thing was that I didnt feel my real concern was addressed, my left eye gets sore very often especially when I stare at computers for a long time, and my right eye got a little droopy, but it did not have any discomfort. The doctor suggested that my right eye was the culprit. It was too dry, well okay. That was my experience, and my lesson was learned -- make sure the doctor is in network before you go, and ask questions and alternatives and dont take for granted that they know the best and automatically do everything in your best interest!
