Yesterday I waited for over an hour to get my tire repaired. It had a leak and was flat when I arrived. Only to be told an hour later they couldn’t find the leak. I asked what do I if you can’t find the leak? I was told wait till the hole is bigger!!! I bring it home, and my friend finds a nail in my tire in 2 seconds! That’s bad business and pure laziness if you ask me. Management you need to do something about this!!

Stopped in for an air check and to have my tires inflated after having been offroading. Quick service with a smile. Ill always get my tires at Discount Tire

They didn’t fix my punctured tire. Just put air in it. Said they couldn’t find the puncture and to come back when the hole is bigger! Who TF does that!!! Brought my car home, my friend found the nail in my tire in 2 seconds. He did a temporary fix, then I took it to *Discount Tires in La Mesa, and received excellent service!! Their store was super busy, but their team members were amazing. I’ll never go back to t El Cajon Discount Tires again.

Had to have a plug put in. And they did it for free. Excellent customer service by the rep who checked me in. Great job guys and thank you. You made my trip less stressful that is for sure. A guy here helped me get a nail out of my Tire and check there was no punchers. There was none so I didn’t need a new tire. They even checked all my tire pressures. They didn’t con me and pretend I needed a new tire. I was so shocked at how honest and nice they were. Amazing place

I was driving my daughters Prius and the light indicated that I needed air in my tire. I pulled into this Discount Tire because I was on my way home from Tijuana to Yuma. Obviously this is not my normal store. The young man who helped me never tried to sell me anything else he just fix my tires and the light went out and I was happy and off I went on my long journey to Yuma it was a great experience

Usual tale of woe: tire and nail meet on street with dire consequences leading to quick demise in a flat end for the tire. Nail didnt benefit a bit. Discount Tire to the rescue. Quick change of torn tire, balance and rotation and a good price, then Im on my way. Dependable, courteous and professional with a well stocked shop make them a great place for sudden tire surprises that happen on the mean streets.

I went in with a bold tire that was leaking trying to purchase a new tire from them. I was being helped by ERIK and I was turned down service all because he doesn’t have enough knowledge of how to remove a tire saying i had refurbished parts and if they brake something they don’t want to be at fault . So I came back home driving on a flat tire very unsafe and unprofessional of them to let me leave like that and guess what took my tire off no problem, now taking my business elsewhere .

Professional and excellent customer service. All the men and women here have their shirts tucked in shoes shined and great haircut. I was greeted in the parking lot, didnt even have to go into the lobby. Ordered my tire online and paid online. Tire was available next day for installation. Got an appointment time and they were ready at my appointments time. I dunno, its the little things for me.

Needed to get some new tires, found some very good quality Perellis for under 150 each, and had them installed in under 2 hours. Had to get to class, so the salesmen, George and Jimmy both stepped up to help me get on my way. I even watched them help the shop guys get them lined up for the balancer. They quoted me a price for tires on the phone and told me the price was out the door and included installation, etc. When i arrived for my installation appointment the next day, they kept me waiting about an hour because they were very busy with customers. But isnt that why we have appointments? I do not think they understand what an appointment means. Finally, it was my turn and they charged me almost DOUBLE the price they quoted me, saying that instalation was not included, nor was balancing, waste disposal fees and other fees thus almost doubling my quoted price. I have been a discount tire customer for over 30 years but had never been to this particular store before. Now i am no longer a Discount Tire customer at all after that experience. They are very dishonest. I will buy my tires elsewhere now. These fees are a scam and a very dishonest way to do business so i have boycotted Discount Tire now on the principle that i do not want to buy tires from liars. They wete dishonest about many things at this store.

Walked in, was greeter by JC. He asked how he could help me, I explained to hime I was looking for tires for a truck and a suv. HE showed me options and the screen, explained benefits and difference in style and pricing. A short period of time later, both my wife and I have new tires. Will be a repeat customer.

I was able to watch my tire the entire time the whole time. If I am in the area and need new tires, they are pretty well comparable to ones I could find online, and they price match. I went to replace a single tire I had that blew out. Upon arrival the service man went to check out my other tires to find out that I actually needed 4 new tires! I was not able to afford 4 new tires but was able to afford two used tires for the front of my vehicle. We were able to figure out the best deal for my situation and placed the best of my old tires in the back and had the used tires replace the front two tires which were the worst off. The service was exceptional and the workers were able to accommodate my needs to my financial situation. I will definitely be going back when I have the money to replace all 4 tires with new tires.

I would recommend Discount Tire in El Cajon to anyone that needs tires. I needed 2 -4 tires asap at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon (they close at 5:00). Rick was very knowledgeable and agreed to let me come in for 3 tires (all they had in my size 14R). I paid for my tires, they were mounted/balanced and my car was done by 5:00. The guy that put the tires on my car came to get me from the waiting area when my car was done. As he was taking me to to my car he led me away from a place that was just sprayed with disinfectant and had a very strong smell. He had no way of knowing that I had asthma and I would have had an asthma attack if I had went through that area. He helped guide me out of my parking spot as I was leaving the shop. That kind of thoughtfulness and consideration is rare in customer service. Thank you. The service was great and the tires look wonderful You have a customer for life!

Came here for balancing work on my tires. Despite the busy time I came by, they were able to get me in and out within an hour and a half. Plus they didn’t charge me for the balancing work! Totally awesome. Customer service is real good as well. Overall a good experience at this Discount Tire!

Stopped in because I had a flat, I had significant wear on the inside of my tires so I was told I needed to buy a couple of new tires which I was going to do. I got to the register and tgey gave me a price for some bfg all terrains because thats all they had in stock apparently. Jimmy was the man helping me and seemed to get offended that I wanted a price check him with pep boys. The price sounded high and being they only had one tire in stock I wanted to see what pep boys had in stock. He wanted to know why Im bringing him tires that I had bought from pep boys. And made some comment about him doing their work . Im not sure how any of it was his business, as I started to respond to this highly unprofessional individual I just stopped myself halfway and said you know what Ill go up the street to pep boys. Ive been buying tires from discount for 20 years. Maybe the last time I ever go in there

Ordered two wheels online, said that they would be installed on the 21st, they didn’t install the from over a month after the order.When I ordered my wheels online they called me to tell me that they did not have them in stock and that it would take four days for them to ship to the store and get installed. Four days later they never contacted me, I called them and they said it would be another four days. Repeat that process five times, they never called me once to tell me they would be late. it has been over a month.At this point I have waited too long to cancel the order, but this is ridiculous. Order your wheels somewhere else.

Sales guy was nice, but there is literally no point in booking an appointment at this location. We scheduled a 1:15 appointment and bought $700 in tires, and still had to wait over 2 hours before our car was even brought back to the bay to be started. Was 3:30 by the time we finally got out of there, making my girlfriend late to work. Wont be coming back to this location again.

Been coming here for years! I really like John the manager for this facility. I was trying to make a decision on a heavy duty tire upgrade for my Ram 3500 dually. I needed a reliable long lasting tire that could handle the rigorous towing and highway miles. My mind was set on another brand and I was sold by the literature on that tire. After a few discussions with this gentleman and really wasting his time on the back and forth on my decision and his suggestion for the tire that he had seen the best results from, which did cost 40$ more per tire. His persistence assured me that I was buying the best tire for my needs! Bridgestone Agilis Cross climate was beyond my hopes and expectations for a good tire and excellent ride for my dually !!!! What a nice tire and the hard working crew that busted their butts in the heat while I set in my vehicle watching! Great guys and a great shop!!! Thank you John

I waited for two hours!!!The Mexican Juan Garcias took the order, it seems that he completely forgot about me...The guys work fast, but Im not sure about the quality. The wheel disk was bent on my car and they didn’t tell me anything about it. They just hung a big weight on the disk and didnt explain anything.Stay away from him.Added: I also wanted to add that these guys pumped my tires badly and now my car is jumping like a ball.They do it quickly but not professionally.

Weve been Discount Tire customers for years and recently had a horrible experience with one of the managers at the Santee store. Because it was our first bad occurrence, we decided to try another store. My husband brought my car to JC at the El Cajon branch. JC found the problem (that Santee was too lazy to look for), and informed us that the tires we purchased at Santee were bad. JC took care of us, and restored our faith in Discount Tire. Hopefully Santee will learn from JC, as to what it takes to keep loyal customers. Thank you, JC & the El Cajon DT Team.

AAA ordered the Towing service to be brought here. I came in at 3pm to patch up a tire. After waiting in the waiting room for 2.5 hours, they let me know that the tire I thought that needed to be patched was completely unrepairable and that my other rear tire had a nail in it. They patched my tire and I was given my keys around after 6:30pm.If you want fast service, go elsewhere.

I stand corrected: showed up Friday morning around 10:30 and no lines. Requested a tire rotation and had it done within the hour. I’m leaving my old review as reference.I’m sorry I am not throwing blame but every time I drive over to this location there are lines and the wait is impossible. So maybe it’s because the service is great but if you can’t get access to it then it’s no better than the computation.
