This store is such a breath of fresh air after going to Lemon Grove location (now closed) for so many years. I mostly buy yarn, of which they have a tremendous selection. Yarn section, while it is large, it could be stocked/organized better. This store never disappoints my mostly crafty brain. Prices are great, especially when there is a sale. Clearance prices are just a joke though. But thats consistent with most JoAnn stores. I visit 4-5 times a month. I never leave empty handed. Curbside pickup is still encouraged with a discount, which makes it even easier to shop.

Always fun around halloween - great seasonal craft items and the best place for fabric. Long lines at the cash register at times....but still a great alternative to Michaels....

Good store with plenty of craft and decor items. I went in for felt and Joann had a great variety in colors and textures from $0.49 on up. A much better selection than Michaels. This store used to carry more seasonal decor and it used to be more heavily discounted than the last couple times Ive been in, but theres an OK number of items to choose from if youre close by and dont want to run over to Michaels. The staff is friendly and the line moves well. Each cash register station has heavy vinyl separators between customers.

I went in looking for fleece for guinea pig bedding. Their website displayed limited options, so I went in and good golly they had so many!! I picked a few that were two packs at a great deal and some other super cute ones from the massive selection they have! Cant wait to get started!

We are got into sewing and now cannot stop coming here for fabric

This leak was coming from the A/C on the roof of the building. The ceiling tile was buckled from the weight of the water. This was located in one of the main aisles in very close proximity of the fabric. No plastic to shield the fabric from becoming wet and mildewed.

Shopped today, and as before, the store is way understaffed. Joanns might be trying to save money, but its not good for the customers to wait for a long time in line, or the employees to be under that kind of stress.

Terrible at check out!Every. Single Time.So many items ring up at the wrong price and staff have no idea how to fix it. They need customer service training and a remedial math lesson.It never changes, I guess because theyre really the only place to buy fabric... Lame.

Its got a great selection of stuff. Very overwhelming. The people that work there can be helpful but you have to ask them for help. No one there ever just came by and asked if we needed help. The checkout gal was really helpful and assisted me with using the coupons and getting the best deal, so that was great.

Hands down the definitive place to go for all fabric, sewing, and related crafts and materials. As a guy, the best thing I can say is that this is the Home Depot of fabrics: huge stock and variety, large store that is easy to navigate and just outstanding customer service. All the folks who work on the floor are just amazing when it comes to helping a noob like me find what I need, especially since what I need is usually the strangest combination of items. Should also mention it is right off the freeway, easy to get to and parking is plentiful. They have great prices to begin with but you can always count on there being some sale or discount going on as well so I always leave with exactly what I wanted having paid a lot less than I planned.

Type coupon to 56266 to sign up for Joanns coupons! Its a great way to save even more on whatever you happen to be buying there. Also dont forget to take a number if you want your bolts cut! I went there today and saw 4 or 5 people waiting to get their bolts cut but who didnt grab a number. Uh oh.They Are a great place for fabric and other craft goods (paints, baskets, fake flowers, sewing supplies, stuffing, stencil paper, mixed media, canvases, etc) so dont let the fool you into thinking they only help with sewing

The reason I liked this store is it usually has pretty unique seasonal items which I like. I purchased 2 ocean theme items because they reflected what I like. However, when I came up to check out, cashier was on phone w/ another customer. No one else was in line except me. As cashier was maybe answering question from phone customer. I walked over to where cashier was still talking & waited. Finally cashier off phone, then call someone in store while I was still waiting to check out. Finally started to assist me. No apology given for me an actual person waiting & standing when call could have been transferred to someone in management who is sitting far away from the live action to handle. Store is stuck in past about how to treat customers in todays world. I asked for a senior discount like most similar stores give & was told that JoAnn doesnt give any discount. I have shopped here in the past & was given one. Now change in rules👎👎👎If you are a senior you are going to be disappointed that this company doesnt care about their senior clientele 😒

Was just there earlier to do a return. The lady that helped me had very poor and negative customer service and was also disrespectful. She also gave me the wrong return amount. Very disappointed. The service at this store is incredibly SLOW. Both the cutting table and the checkout lines move at a snails pace even if they are short. And if you just want information you will have to wait in one of these lines because there is no one else to help you. Each time I stop here I think Never again but now I mean it. Even though it is convenient I will go somewhere else!

Extremely slow at checkout area. Only 2 people manning the registers on a Sunday afternoon of Thanksgiving weekend. With all their deals going on there was at least 20 people in line. The line grew that much because 1 of the cashiers stepped away with no word to the customers waiting or to her coworker. She was out of the area 3+ min. Where was management during all of this? Obviously way understaffed for the day. I was like 5th in line when I came into the checkout line and only needed to pick up online order. I waited 15+ minutes and by the time I was helped (very friendly customer service while at the register by the way)people waiting were almost backed up to the door at the entrance. Just crazy and simple mismanagement. 3 stars for the order that I picked & friendly service.

This store is pretty large and carries a lot of variety. Most everyone there has been friendly, but it is hard to get someone to help because its also pretty busy. Theres almost always at least one coupon you can use. This is my preferred location even though Lemon Grove is closer to me.

My favorite place to go

Fabric and craft store. Almost 1/3 of the store has bolts of cut -to-order fabrics with plenty of fleece and cottons for quilters. The other half has plenty of seasonal decor items and crafts. Almost always a line both at cutting table and registers. Look for coupons to get the best value. Bring your patience.

Great yarn sales. Like the knitting needle and crochet hook selection, and accessories of same, and pattern books. Sometimes store is busy, and you can put items on hold if you need to leave for appt/work etc.

If you havent shopped here youre missing a fun trip. There must be something you need so dont waste anymore time just thinking about coming here. Do it.

Out of many threads. Possibly under staffed tonight. Never saw any roving employee that could offer assistance. The employee that I did interacted with was incredibly pleasant.

I bought some fabric to do my dining chairs. The process wasnt clear for how to get your fabric cut. Didnt know I needed a number. Fabrics were mostly on sale but its hard to tell how much each one is. I used a coupon but had no idea how much the coat would be until they cut it.

Tons of holiday items. Shockingly, the store wasnt crowded. Of course, everything is overpriced so it can be on sale and marked down 60%. Still, lots of cute stuff and boatloads of fabric.

This is normally the Joanns I shop at, because they tend to have the best selection of fabrics and trims, Ive found. I like the way the store itself is organized, and the employees there are knowledgeable about their products. If they dont know, they always ask. Sometimes this location can get incredibly busy and there isnt always enough employees to accommodate the large crowds, but that would be my only complaint. The cut counter can get backed up, but thats because the employees working always do their best to cut the fabric/materials properly and help with any design or construction questions. All and all, this is my favorite store!

I absolutely LOVE the mangers. Unfortunately they really need to train their staff about dressing appropriately. There is a young lady with tattoos, piercings and has green hair who is always at the cut table and she is very unapproachable. She kind of scared me.” the last time I went. Eventually she called my number and was very hostile, slamming my fabric on the table and asked me “Well, how much do you want?!” She was very rude. I wouldn’t want an employee like that working at a business/location with such high reviews.
