Ive recently started shopping here again since transitioning. All the staff are extremely friendly, personable, and helpful. This store offers possibly some of the absolute best customer service I have ever experienced. Ive always been so nervous to shop for feminine clothing and accessories by myself, but the staff here make it all so easy and I dont feel judged, just supported. Most recently I have been helped by Samara, Zack, Isabella, and many more I have unfortunately not caught the names of.

Ive been going to this hot topic since like middle school. It holds a special place in my heart. I was shopping for an anniversary gift for my boyfriend which I found very easily and with some help from the staff I purchased the thing. The staff that helped my friend and I were very nice and helpful they made this trip the best experience at a hot topic.

Daughter loves this store.As a Mum i was like nope, no untill i went inside with her and was like WOW.Now ill be shopping here too, for the Shirts.

Hot Topic always has the best employees. Sierra is awesome. Asked for an item that was out of stock and she offered me a variety of alternatives. I can always expect the best customer service at this store.

I have been here a few times but I sometimes avoid the place nowadays because they dont have a lot of the things like they have on thier website. The prices are a bit pricey especially for the anime merch, funko pops, and plush dolls that they have there occasionally. The staff are like a mystery bag and never know whether youre going to get the kind/patient one or the grumpy Mary Sue. I enjoy the music but the volume is too loud for my taste and kind of wish I can see more merchandise from other fandoms like Marvel or anime that are popular aside from Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer.Also please bring back the nail polish in the skull shaped bottle!

This store was an absolute delight! Brandon was extremely helpful, and I really loved his energy and the amount of pride he had in making sure our visit was a pleasant one. I will be happy to return very soon! Very well done:)

The staff was super friendly and always a step ahead when offering their service. They have a register on the outside which helps to free up space in the store since they have a maximum store capacity of 7. The staff is super friendly and accommodate you as best they can. The store itself was very clean and organized and you did not have to fight with the marketing layout to view products.

Great customer service and products, only complaint is that a dog was in the store and that could be dangerous to people allergic but overall a good experience. Also Alice (An employee) was great!

Everything awesome crammed into one small space😁

The store is very small. their is barely any room. hard for people in wheel chairs to get in. but the item they sell are pretty cute. the clothes are hanged on the wall so you have to ask the cashier to get it down. there are two registers. there is usually only one open. the pins are super cool. most of the time they are on sale two for one.

They have some great sales right now had to drag my daughter out before she broke my bank account lol.

Always busy looking ... Too small of a store, therefore if store was bigger it would look more eye appealing and not so cluttering looking. Do love the variety of the merchandise they sell. Love that they carry Supernatural items, still. I can get lost but overall nice store wish it was bigger and kept up better.

Terrible experience. Would rate 0 stars if I could. Went to this location with a group of friends in hopes of buying pins and patches. We were bag shopping and an employee came up to us, asked for our items, then perma-banned us and said they would call mall security and the cops, thinking we were shoplifting (with no evidence). We tried to explain ourselves but they wouldnt listen, saying they didnt care and we werent allowed back. Employees yelled at us as we walked out. I had an anxiety attack. Wouldnt return even if I could. (Calling the cops was a scare tactic. They cant call police, mall security can. And since they got all of their merchandise back they would have no need to anyways.)

My friends and I went into hot topic and they accused us of stealing and banned us from the store. They wouldn’t listen to us when we tried to tell them we weren’t stealing and yelled at us. My friend had an anxiety attack from it and started crying in the mall. Smh :/ they lost good customers, I’ve bought 100’s worth of stuff from them and now I’m banned because they THOUGHT we were gonna steal and they didn’t have solid evidence. Not going back.

Hot topic is always good to go look inside to see what they have. I used to buy my wife a lot of lounge fly products here and really enjoyed seeing there new inventory of them. But they dont carry selections anymore there all online but still a good place to go for your kids or family whos into the clothing apparel and toy products

My family loves this store! I recall on the 90s when people avoided this store because it was to metal, goth & industrial which I still loved back then. Now, they have truly modernized it to make all walks of life comfortable covering numerous genres and pop culture. Great for collectors as well by adding funko pop dolls and other various collectible toys.

This store seems to constantly change its thene and who they want ro cater to...go for a specific item or look and they no longer support that style 😎

It is great for getting anime and band shirts

Just plan to wait for a while in line, with this whole covid, it can get crazy with the wait time.

Its not as easy to find these days. I walked right past it. Definitely not the store I grew up with but one can still find cool shirts

My friends and I went to this location in hopes of getting merchandise from some of our favorite tv shows and movies. While we were bag shopping, we heard an employee yelling at one of my friends very harshly. She then yelled at all of us and said that we were banned and that they were calling security and the police. We tried to explain but they stated that they did not care. One of my friends even had an anxiety attack for being falsely accused of a crime. Will not return.

The employees are awesome and very helpful. I have had to order things online and they do it for me. They had a new shipment of items from The Nightmare Before Christmas and they showed it to me fresh out of the box before putting on floor. They are awesome here .

Excellent customer service. Nice selection of items. The prices are a little high but oh well. Shop is too small and cramped. They do have a rewards system where you get a credit in the store after spending a certain amount of money.

I went to this store and got my niece a shirt that had some Manga on it if you know what that is. Then when my niece got here from Germany took here there and she bought more stuff from them too. Very nice novelty store.

Dont bring children. The store was relatively empty and my 3 kids (5, 10 and 12 all well behaved) wanted to sit on the on floor near me 2 different times while I was looking at shirts. The associates came over and said they couldnt sit there both times, like damn are they really bother anything? I think from now on I will be going to mission valley. Also the manager before she rung me up for my items, said excuse me to an older lady and before the lady could move she just bumps into her and doesnt even apologize. Seriously rude people.

Has a variety of merchandise from figurines to jewlrey to dresses. Pretty cool place. I havent seen any other brand like it. My only complaint is the pricing is a bit high.

Great customer service!I was there yesterday to return a couple or tshirts. I needed them in a different size.Even though the store seemed busy, the help I received was outstanding!Not only did she help me look for the tshirts, she went out of her way to climb up to check and remove the displayed samples. Her attitude was AMAZING & countagious.

Great service and an awesome selection of a lot of pop culture items. Even though Im no longer attracted to buying Supernatural themed eyeshadow palettes and anime merchandise (but I do buy earrings a lot), this store will always be a favorite!

I used to work at this store. Been a loyal customer before hand for about a year before I applied. One of the reasons I applied os because of the awesome shopping experience I had.

Love the store but not a lot of clothes(in stock) in plus sized.

I realI only go for specific things, items are always so close I have to squeeze by other customers everytime I decide to come here.. uuh...But they are a little expensive so I havent bought anything from here in a while.... If anyone catches a sale let me know!

Store is a tight fit like all other Hot topics. Im a funko pop collector, this is my main reason for going. The have a huge selection of pops, each hot topic has a IG page and or FB page to update followers on new items arriving. Store is clean, friendly staff.
