They have the best sweet Mexican bread, freshly made tortillas corn and flour. The carnitas are delicious and the fresh guacamole is delicious

Well very disappointed with meat market. They are very sneaky workers in that dept. Every one els excellent customer service.

Store has been re-arranged. More of a Farmers Market look. Not a variety of vegetables. Need to rotate. Some are already browning. Not many cashiers available and not to many shoppers in the store. Beer-BudLight Lime and picante or other single varieties not in stock...

Produce, meats & grocery sections are very good and well stocked. The quality in service at the cafeteria has diminished, the food is good the service needs improvement.

I love coming to Cardenas. They only charge $0.50 for money orders. Only bad thing is sometimes there is a line at the office. But if you have a few extra minutes its better than paying $5.00 at your bank!

Horrible service in the kitchen area, long line and wait, second time going to find out they dont have their more famous items, chicken and carnitas usually just one cook and one cashier. They should put up a sign to let people in line know that they are out of items 😡

Good ceviche, good corn tortillas, good guacamole every thing is good at cardenas. Try by your self. Nice.

They need to be more fast at the kitchen I just made 1/2 hour on line of 5 customers ridiculously slow

I ordered 2 x tubs of guacamole for $2.50 each. I received only one small container which I believe is the .75 cent guacamole. I don’t think this was the drivers fault as Cardenas did this to me last time I ordered from them. They are usually good in person but they rip you off in deliveries.

If you want something That taste homemade authentic For breakfast lunch or dinner this is the spotTheres a variety something for everybody. True story i dropped an envelope of money inside the store .I did not realize I dropped it till I got home later in the evening... An employee picked it up gave it to the manager Who then returned it to me. Honest hardworking great customer service I highly recommend

The store is good. But too many people on certain times of hours and the cashiers arent many. Ive seen sometimes theyd put too many cashiers when it aint necessary. (Its only an opinion.) But what I did like is that I wanted certain fresh herbs and your store got them for me. Chicken is awesome. Avocado dip guacamole price is little high.

Worst customer service I called 3 times trying to get a price check from meat department, I after waiting for the longest time I was told they couldnt help me with info. because they are not aloud to confirm prices. 🤯🤯

I love this store especially if your making Mexican Food. They literally have everything you need you make anything Mexican. The place is very clean and the staff are efficient. This is where you get my reason for rating them so low. They dont have baggers. I actually complained to one of the supervisors. I said After spending nearly $140 I have to bag my own groceries. Really!!!!

I really like this store. So much to choose from. Cant beat their meat prices. Freshly made corn and flour tortillas. Fresh salsas. Great produce and lovely bakery department.

The food and products they sell are good. Too bad the customer service is horrible. You have everything from cashiers giving you attitude to the food court associates not using gloves or hairnets while serving food and tables being super dirty. This place needs a management overhaul to get things back in order.

Clean and organized store. Everything is easy to find. Will definitely shop there again when in Imperial Valley. Reminds me of a grocery store in Phx, Az....Ranch Market. Not sure if they are related grocery stores, but they are nice and well maintained.

Friendly staff. Great decor. Plenty of options for Mexican groceries and fresh ingredients. They also have a great little restaurant inside. Yummy!

Sunday breakfast looked good but food was not...at least what we decided to have.tacos Al pastor..with rice and beans....tacos were not good at all..i would never order that plate again. I do love their bakery and produce is great. Store is very clean and staff is nice...just tacos al pastor need a new recipe. .i will continue to shop. Here. .just no tacos.

In general weve gotten decent food from the lunch/dinner counter, but it was beyond disgusting today. The carnitas were entirely fat and some long dripping pieces of animal(?) fat(?), that werent identified as food. Both the rice and beans were cold and gross.

Absolutely love this store. Clean. Friendly, welcoming employees. Some items a little pricey, but worth it! They carry items most stores do not... unless you want Walmart quality. Fresh tortillas made daily. Restaurant. A very nice experience.... with fresh Tres Leches to die for!!!!

I visited the restaurant area for lunch and it was packed to many people not enough employees to serve food and refill condiments, no spoons no salaa containers incomplete food orders, i only have an hour to eat and cannot take veryLong. The food was good.

I always go for the fresh produce. And the awesome specials!! Inside banking is also a plus.

This is the place to come for the real deal Mexican groceries! Great marinated Carne Asada, hand pressed Tortillas (on site), crazy good avocados and so much more! Its where the locals shop, so you know its good.

Love Cardenas! I like the variety of fruit and veggies as well the Sweet bread and if youre hungry, they have food already prepared to eat. I wish they have store in Brawley, but I dont mind going to el Centro.
