Love love love this place! All the employees are helpful and gracious, and you actually find someone to help you, they have a good number of people working at all times. ... I suspect the owners of this store take good care of their employees... good pay, etc. because all the employees seem very content working there.... it shows in how well they take care of their customers

Ace Hardware store downtown is the best in Napa! The staff knows what they are talking about and will offer suggestions if you ask. Napa doesnt need the big box stores with no staff or knowledge...

Had a few keys made and bought rings plus color rings so I can quickly tell what keys to choose to use on locks. The man was very helpful and the staff was quick on check out.

Sales guy misinformed or lied about the return policy. Store wont take back items that dont expire (aluminum duct, faulty [blinking] light fixtures). Sign on ceiling they pointed out today does say 30 days, but that wasnt what the sales guy said. Unfortunately worst service than HD, and more expensive.

Was helped by an employee to purchase a hand truck. At the time the employee told me the hand truck was refundable if I have any issues. Great. Come back a few days later with the receipt to return as it was hard to control when carrying heavy loads, and I was told it was not refundable, and that no employee at their store would ever say it was refundable. Manager gets involved, gets in my face and tells me this is the way theyve been doing things for 30 years. Would not even offer store credit. Actual trash service, led by a bully supervisor.

The manager here is so rude - both to staff and to customers. Do yourself a favor and visit one of the many other helpful and friendly Ace stores in the area. Its a pity because the location is convenient and selection is great.

I rushed to Pastime Hardware to get a much needed part for my Moms sink. They had just closed the entrance door and one of their punk supervisors (probably part of the Pride family owners) came up to me and almost yelled at me stating Signs up - Closed and slammed the door shut in my face!! Customer Service?? They lost a customer.

Like its been said Ace is the place.You can still get employees to help you with DIY .professional contractors need help also. You dont have to search the store just ask an employee..they all have radios.
