One of my local fav mexi market! Fresh, affordable, friendly staffs. They got their own bakery here too!!

Store was clean, purchased everything on my list. My receipt was correct with right amount that I purchased. Not too sure why they blocked off the east side of the store. You have to go around through produce department cause its all blocked off. Hazzle going all the way around.

I like to visit this store for all special ingredients such as chiles and masa for mexican recipes. The alcohol is varied at fair prices. Veggies have good prices and are fresh, but the fruit is not the best quality (papaya, bananas, mangos and pineapple are fine).

They now have self service checkout. Awesome!

I have four choices of where to do my grocery shopping. I shop at Ralphs because they are the closest and opened the latest.The number one choice would be Superior because they have the right items for me. Freshly made tortillas and tortilla chips... and the mexican bread and rolls are all made fresh in the store. They also have cooked dishes that can be bought today to feed the family tonight.

I can always find what Im looking for and get out kinda quick. Would love to see more cashiers at peak times.

Its usually ok, but today I buy spicy fried chicken, und it was not cooked all the way, 😨

Store itself looked nice and clean, but went there for the DMV Now kiosk to renew vehicle registration. Fast and simple process. The kiosk only accepted credit or debit card. Prints the sticker at the end of the transaction. At the time the screen said receipt machine was out of service otherwise it wouldve been 5 stars for being fast, closer, and opens later than the El monte DMV.

The store has fresh veggies it looks well kept. The bathrooms are clean. There is always an employee walking around if you have questions.

Superior did this awesome bread tree for Christmas this year. Love it.

They overcharged by made it in purpose. The manager and counter workers didn’t say :sorry about this big mistake. The manager did arrogance without smile n without apologized to customer. Today July 31, ‘21 was a bad day to shop there. Never come again

This is probably the best supermarket in the El Monte area. Its is clean, well stocked and has a bakery, hot foods deli and meat deli. There is ample parking and it is always bustling with business. There are places to lock up your bike and in store security guards. This market has a Wells Fargo ATM and a desk where you can pay utility bills. There is also a DMV kiosk and two lotto vend units.

Always fresh and inexpensive produce here at the El Monte Superior, but the last 2 weeks the beer section is all Warm!! Get that refrigeration working asap!

I did some quick shopping this morning and the bakery was fully stocked, I got some sweet bread and the flan was amazing, went to the meat dept. also fully stocked, got some shrimp and pork riblets and the veggies and fruits were also fully stocked, needless to say I was very satisfied with my experience at Superior, in and out in 20 min. Great!

They have a lot of varieties of produce. The customer service is very good. They are fast and friendly. A staff in the fish counter really impressed me today (Jan 9). She went beyond her way to serve me with the crabs. Questions answered well and concerns taken care professionally. I cant find every thing I need here, but I can find a lot here.

Packed parking lot, however I found a spot quickly. They always seem to have a great produce selection, which is why I go there. Prices are average. Long lines to be expected cuz of Christmas. Checkers are always nice!

Went to this Market today and it was a Complete Nightmare. No Social Distancing what so ever. It was like a Regular time in life except people were wearing Masks. Literally People so close together it gave me Aniexty and My Husband and I had to hurry up and get out of there. My Concern is why isnt The Manager going by the CDC rules? 6 feet apart? I will never go back to this Supermarket again. Why isnt anyone counting how many people are inside the Store? Im probably going to have Nightmares about this place. Shame on you Store Management... I guess Money is More important than the Health and Safety of others.

First time there; produce dept. & bakery selections are great! Meat & others (dry & canned goods, paper, household, etc) have less selections, focused on low cost brands which serves our local community.

When we pulled up to park there was a car that just had the window smashed and stole the ladys purse 24 days before Christmas. How sad. I hope whoever did it gets whats coming to them. Always have good sale prices. However, the items not on sale are more expensive than other markets.

They have a lot Mexican food, like masa, dry Chiles, pastry etc..Even food ready to eat.

It was very nice. You must wear a mask when going in. They have hand sanitizer and cleaner right inside entrance. When they are collecting the carts they spray disinfectant on them before putting them in place. I give them props for taking care of costumers.

I like going to this Superior Grocers store because of the fast and kind services in which to pay your Gas bill without fees added or your water bill with a small fee. I love buying their $6+ fried chicken at the deli and picking up some pastries too. Lots of parking as the lot includes a Jacknthebox, Petco, and I believe a 5 Below store and other stores too.

Overall a great market, everyone is very friendly. Sometimes they dont have some things that Albertsons or Ralphs have so I have to shop over there. I love superiors meat, always fresh.

Close to home I shop here all the time

I normally go to ralphs or vons but came here due to convenience.The store was clean and employees seemed happy and the cashier was very polite. The lay out was well placed with produce/ bakery/ hot food at the entrance and I was able to find what I needed with ease.They have some organic fruits and veggies and I noticed a few notible brands that I enjoy like egglands best organic brown eggs yum!. And Daves Bread thin sliced 21 grain.The prices were affordable and I can see my self coming back.

This is where I do most of my grocery shopping they have good products and prices but sometimes their cashiers are NOT friendly specially bakery section.

Pretty crowded, lines can get really long. Cheap prices, but you get what you pay for. Produce is ok quality, just make sure to use them quickly. Meat quality is not too great. Not the biggest selection of items.

I really like this store. It’s always clean, the produce looks fresh and meats are a plenty here.I’ve always had good shopping done here. 👍🏼

Came to do shopping during the COVID19 PANDEMIC. Clearly Superior Markets UPPER MANAGEMENT doesnt care about their employees or for their customers. Store managers arent following what Sprouts or Vons are doing to keep EVERYONE SAFE. Store managers arent practicing SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES SET UP BY THE CDC. WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS STORE ANYTIME SOON. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE THERE.

Small Store clean and fully stocked. Didnt carry several products you will find at other locations. Since is too small location, you dont feel the desire of keep shopping in a crowded space.

Just recently opened this past year, Superior Grocers offers a clean and cheap grocery store to north El Monte. They have a ton of produce and products. It is definitely a Mexican influenced market so dont go expecting to find everything. They also have a huge bakery and deli area that you can pick up prepared food. A great and clean market for the area.

Great amazing store. The hit food is all delicious especially the platanos fritos and the baked chickens

It was pleasant. I found everything I needed, in a timely manner. When I couldnt find what I needed, someone was able to help me. The cashier too, was very nice. It was crowded though. Probably due to the time I got there. (4:30pm) Parking lot was full also. Would I go back to that store...absolutely.

Very priced store

I just left there and had the worst experience. As I was walking out pushing my cart with groceries someone dropped their avocado salsa and left it there. So here I come and step into it. Luckily I held myself from falling because I was holding the cart. But when my husband walked into the store to ask for something to clean myself the manager at the time Elizabeth (short, heavy set, and wore glasses) gave my husband a roll that had literally one towel. Of course that wasnt enough. He had to walk back in and ask for more. Luckily the very nice guy who came out quickly helped me clean up. Too bad the staff meaning the manager was not attentive or considerate towards the situation. She even assumed it was us who dropped the salsa. I hope that is not a reflection of the higher up staff because I felt terrible. Never again will I shop there and I will not recommend it.

Superior is awesome. Mexican/Latino based grocery store. Fresh fruits and major veggies (but not all veggies). New store (less than 5 y/o) amd very well kept/clean. My only issue is that they do not have alternative meat options. Otherwise it would be a 5 star rating.

Horrible visit @ this market. David V. the cashier was very rude. He had a bad attitude. His mannerism was awful. I was going to call the Manager Thai, & let him know how rude his employee was. I will give my review for now. I usually have a good experience with the other cashiers. The ladies @ the Deli are awesome! They are very polite & friendly. David needs to work on his PR skills. I like shopping @ this market, the have pretty good producec& meat. I really like the deli. Hopefully management corrects the problem, of this employee.

This is a newer supermarket in my neighborhood. The prices are reasonable and this place is huge! They stock many many different alcoholic beverages at a reasonable price. The meats and veggies are fresh.

I cone here often when they have very good sales. Its clean and their hot foods are good. Usually buy the Carnitas, half roasted chicken, and salsa. Their pastries are good too.

They have Dolores chicken and vegetarian chili!😝💯veggies and fruits always fresh they should higher more cashiers expect to spend at least 20minutes in line for check out🕣

Cashiers are always friendly. Employees keep the store clean and stocked. Meat and dairy are of bad quality and that doesnt mean they charge less! No, they charge average as other stores. But each time Ive bought milk here, it goes sour within the week. I go there ONLY for the vegetables now.
