Food city is our neighborhood store, the store is clean, organized and the staff is friendly.We visit Food City almost every day and never had any problems, the only thing that they need to work on is the bakery / kitchen sections, the waiting is horrible. They should have one employee dedicated to help customers that are getting only bread.

I have always shopped there for groceries ever since we moved into our hour about 30 years ago they have great specials, but ever since Covid-19 occurred the prices on all products have really gone up!

The breakfast burritos are AWESOME! You can tell by how long the line is.

Not huge and doesnt carry a large variety but its clean and great employees. I love the deals and the produce is good. Spent $35 and walked out with a ton. Would recommend food city to anyone.

Purchased a Tres Leches cake for a birthday party 🎉 and they added specialized fruits and it was delicious.

Prices are high, veggies are a good price. I mostly go for their specials especially weekend ones. Employees are very nice and helpful.

Was at the bakery to order a birthday cake and lady said the person I needed to speak to was at another store and offered absolutely no other assistance. I decided to buy was sweet bread and the lady who called out my number was rude and rolled her eyes when I had some problems with the payment machine.🥺will not be returning there.

The burritos od picadillo are really good and their sweet bread as well. And they have Capirotada on Fridays for the Easter season.

Food City is an institution in El Paso. Their menudo and fransecitos cannot be beat. I have loved Food City since I was a child and will continue to shop there into old age.

I had to drop in to buy myself a burrito and it was worth the wait in line. Made the way I want, with the toppings I wanted and the result was deliciousness with a side of sabroso! 😋

We shop here allot they definitely have some great prices and lots of nice helpful workers we appreciate how we get treated and the good variety of food

Food City is my favorite place to buy my delicious galletas de maize. And their francesitos are also delicious so is the sweet bread.

Bakery is completely unorganized. When an order for Burritos, Menudo, Bread and a couple of pieces of Sweetbread is placed the counter LADY goes to the grill and makes the burritos [at least 15 minutes] then has to pick the right Styrofoam Cup for two people [umm this one no 👎 this one? Ok yeah, this one!] TOO SLOW. All I wanted was 6 fresh Bolillo Rolls: over 45 minutes. Have one person on the Grill, one knowledgeable person on Menudo, one person on Deserts and a line for those that only want fresh Bolillo Rolls. Easy peasy.

This is the best place to buy meat in El Paso. Everything else is expensive and not worth it. Great customer service, checkout lines are pretty quick. A+++

The bakery line is always long and Extremely slow on both Alameda and Viscount places. The ladies are sweet, but they warm up one tortilla for burritos at a time, this takes a lot of time. On the other hand this is the only place where if you ask any of the employees where something is, they TAKE you to the right spot vs telling you line 5. The employees have EXCELLENT customer service, this includes the meat and vegetable employees.

Love the pre-seasoned combos of meat for bbqs. Saves so much time when youre really busy or tired.

They have excellent especials, and the people are very respectful with customer.Also they sale a very good food burritos and tortas pan dulce .....

I work almost a block away from the store theres like four times I went in the afternoon in the morning I had to leave after 30 minutes of waiting with five people in front Im not exaggerating I put the timer on the phone the only people that I can hear talk where the people serving the food they could sell more but with that kind of service no bueno

The food is excellent, but customer service in the bakery/deli has definitely gone down. The staff are not very friendly. The wait time for food or bread is ridiculous, considering the food is already made. There is no sense of urgency. Actually, customer service in general needs to be addressed.

Ive been coming to this store since I was a kid and my family long before me has too. I still shop here to this day and I live in central now. Beside the nostalgia they always have whatever I might need. Ill always come back to Food City ranchland. ❤✌

Chmapurado the best

Great prices on fresh produce. Quality meat selection. Good dairy prices. Fair prices on other food and home items. Their menudo is the best in town. The sweet bread and other baked goods are always tasty. Another favorite is their costillas de Borrego with the red or green salsa. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended

Meat from the hot foods dept. should not be left uncovered when left on the scale.

I like going here for the barbacoa but lately (last 2 times) theyve been serving it SUPER greasy. Its really disappointing to open the container and see your food swimming in grease.

My experience was a 5 star. Like some mentioned it has its flaws, just like everywhere else. I dont shop here often, since I dont live near by, but they do have good deals if youre in the area. Which is why I stopped (in the area). Its an older crowd, whether shopping or employee. Which I rather deal with than these younger generation with zero respect or dont take their job or customers serious. And Im middle aged.Anyhow, from my experience & shopping I got today was definitely a 5 star. From employees to customers. I found everything needed with zero drama. From 2 Turkey purchase to milk, to family pack of chicken legs. Id recommend this place to check out

After all Big 8 turned to food king I knew I had to look elsewhere. Food city is better in prices and fruits and vegetables have a better quality than food king.

The Food City in Ranchland is very reasonable with their prices on produce, cheese, milk. I dont go shopping there too often because its a bit far from where I live, but when I do, I get very good deals. The store is clean and the people who work there are very helpful. If there was a Food City nearer to my house, I would probably make it my main place to shop. They have a great bakery, too, and their sweet bread is really good.

Really Good burritos not various kinds, tortas, carnitas, menudo, all kinds of pan dulce, champurrado, and more. My familys favorite for the food, not so much the grocery store part.

I always go here to buy my meat and poultry, great quality. The burritos are amazing I love the brisket, the green and the sweet bread is awesome too. They have some good weekends deals.

It use to be my family store before the giant stores set up shop. Sometimes price is not all that attracts me. Family atmosphere and treatment is quite important too. Good assortment of products and variety is a plus. Butchers on call as well as others staff member. I will return to familiar shopping.

This store is amazing! Well stocked and limits amounts of items you can take. They did run out pretty quick but since they limit amounts, more people were able to take advantage of things they could purchase.
