By far hands down the best machine shop I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Superb machine work and a wealth of knowledge along with experience. I have been to other machine shops in town nobody comes even close to their level of workmanship. All the engines I have ever taken to machine are all running to this day. 5 stars.

Blew a head gasket on one of my cars and needed my head resurfaced ASAP. Contacted Mike & Sons to do the job for me. Dropped off the head at lunch time and picked it up later in the day. When I picked it up I got a full explanation of the work they did. Installed the head later in the week and the car is running perfectly. Im going to do a full rebuild on a engine soon and for sure I’m going to have Mike & Sons do my machine work. 10/10 would recommend.

Had my whole motor brought in here and had them machine it and replace everything and make it a full long block out everything in my car works perfect couldn’t ask for anything better. Will be a life time customer.

Has my 5.7 LS motor sleeves cleaned and the short block with new cam bearings and rod bearings and new rings for my pistons. After the wait time was over everything looked brand new and the price was very fair and I couldn’t have asked for a better machine shop. Will recommend them to anyone.

Took them a while to get me an answer, which was theyre not even able to perform simple tasks such as drilling the head bolt holes larger to accomodate thread inserts. Dont even bother calling.

This shop was awesome, helped me out a ton. I went in with a seized bell crank, and they were able to get it apart so I could clean it. Would definitely go back.

I dropped off my 5.0 block to Mike last week and have been nothing but impressed with the amazing service and attention they have shown. I will make another review after I receive the finished product, but considering the awesome care and customer service I have received thus far I have to rate this shop as high as I can.

After we agreed upon a price to remove pressed on bearings on a differential carrier, the owner wanted to charge me more because he did a good job and didnt damage the bearings. I told him NO, the price we agreed on is what Im paying. He wasnt happy but I will not use him again nor recommend that shop.

Being new to the automotive industry it’s very hard to distinguish between tons of available shops in the area. Especially here in El Paso! Question is where to get quality work with out being upsold or haggled. If your like me and search the Internet, go based off reviews or word of mouth. Then you probably find yourself wondering what is true and what is not. Well I’m here to say Mike and Sons is the way to go! What other machinist takes time from their day to answer questions regarding machine processes and pricing?! They even personally led me to the back showed me their equipment! This machine shop has nothing to hide! High quality work and extremely reasonably priced!

I called and asked if they could pop out my old wheel bearings from a 2001 Toyota Rav4 and put new ones in. I already had the knuckles out. Ive had done in other states and its typically $30-$40 per bearing and takes five minutes per knuckle for professionals. Lady on phone said it would cost $80 per bearing and there was a 5 day wait. Gimme a break.
