Whenever I have a great Cuban sandwich like this one; it always puts me in a good mood. Never fails to make my day better, and reminds me of my childhood. That’s what a good Cuban sandwich is supposed to do, and this place delivers on exactly that. Simply put they offer awesome Cuban sandwiches at a great price. In addition they have some great variances that are worth a try. Their coffee is also a good addition to the sandwich. Definitely worth a try. Trust me I’m Cuban.

A five star review for an amazingly tasty Original Cubano sandwich made with fluffy and crusty cuban bread and the usual ingredients which could each individually stand by themselves for their quality. The combination of mustard, pickle, ham, melted provolone, thickly shredded pork…..and authentic cuban bread is addicting. I’m not truly sure if there was mayo, but the umami was kicking on my first visit. The absolute best grab-and-go-before-the-beach sandwich.

Had a sandwich here w my daughter and sadly was not impressed. The sandwich was plain. Bread was dry. Salad was less than enthusiastic. Sorry, no Bueno =/

Cuban sandwich is ok taste more like pan con lechón needs more ham but over all not to bad...

The original Cuban sandwich is like the one Grandma used to make. The lecheon used has that home cooking flavor. The black beans were good but they didnt have the authentic Cuban flavor. The tostones were on point. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to LAX.

I just enjoyed a double cup of Cuban expresso and a deliciously savory beef empanada. Wow, what a treat. Every bite of ground beef was tender, incredibly juicy, and light. Nice work guys. I’ll definitely stop by again if I’m ever in town!

Only been once so far. Ordered pick-up. The original cuban was good. Pulled pork was a bit fatty, and the bread on bottom was a bit soggy, but the flavor was good.

Excellent Original Cuban sandwich. Not an expert in Cuban cuisine but this place definitely hit the spot. I would recommend for a nice lunch spot. They also have a breakfast menu and larger dinner plates.

Whenever Im by LAX, I have there OG Cuban Sandwich. They have a variety Havana Food. Its like home even the Plantines is amazing.

Good food and service

Face masks are required to be worn in public, due to the pandemic. We ordered food for pick up and when we walked in to pick it up, four of the five workers including the cooks were wearing their masks only covering their mouths, noses uncovered. I stood for a few minutes hoping it was just a brief moment with a mask issue causing them to be down but no. I am very concerned about the safety of this during this time. We declined our order.Im sure that the food is delicious. It has been recommended to us! We were excited to try it. But not if the food service workers cannot keep their customers safe through wearing a mask on their faces the safe and effective way.

Ordered the dream sandwich. Turns out it was a breaded cubed steak. So more like a hamburger than a steak. Pretty gross. If I had wanted a breaded hamburger, I wouldve ordered that. Every other cuban restaurant gives you a flat piece of steak (not cubed!) when you order steak. The breaded is a different item called expansion, which I did NOT order.Waste of money.

The turkey cuban was so yummy and the plantains were amazing! Best sweet plantains Ive ever had. Customer Service was also great.

Nice little eatery in CA when you want a quick bite, but without feeling disgustingly full. The portion sizes are right, but the quality of ingredients is very fresh which is what makes the food taste good and get you back on your way. I decided to go the spicy BBQ chicken sandwich which was cooked very well. The bread was crispy, chicken done right and sauce provided the right kick.

Friendly service and yummy sandwiches that are very special - there are vegetarian options as well. Delicious pastelitos and crunchy cookies, which I havent found anywhere else. My favorite coffee in LA. Id recommend this place to anyone looking for breakfast or a good coffee with a hearty snack. Also a great place to hang out and eat outside in the sun, especially after bike rides.

Small, quaint place with a very relaxed and comfortable come. They have an extensive Cuban sandwich menu which was pretty impressive. I ordered the original with rice, beans and plantains and it was good. I dined in and watched the rockets vs warriors game for a bit.

My favorite place to go for a Cuban sandwich. Unless youre a huge eater, the half a sandwich with fries will definitely fill you up. If youre trying to avoid french fries, then get the whole sandwich. They also have some great Cuban meals that are served over rice, some come with plantains.Ive seen a number of people come in for the Cuban coffee so that seems popular as well.Worth a try if youre in the area. One of my regular lunch spots. Great sandwiches, toasted just right with good flavors. Nothing too fancy, casual with delicious food. Lots of good choices but Im partial to the pastrami reuben and tuna cuban.

So many Cuban sandwich choices! They are great too. Still working on trying them all. Decent amount of seating. Nothing fancy inside but gets the job done. Fries are awesome too.

I really like the food and authentic vibe here. Try the coffee with milk and sugar. Miami Cuban is my go to sandwich if if I am really hungry the platanos rice and beans are a great change up from their fries. I dont recommend trying to keep them on the phone very long or you will get a quick goodbye. Dont fret it. Just call back with your order in order and they will make it good.

Went here yesterday. I had the jerk chicken wasn’t that tasty. It had blue cheese which i hate and the flavor was bad. I wouldn’t go there again

This fairly small, casual sandwich shop delivers high quality, tasty sandwiches and more. The line can get big at lunch, but its worth it! If its your first time ordering, you may want to stand to the side to look at the menu. They have the best (and probably least expensive) coffee in town. My go tos here is the everything bagel made special with fennel seeds, breakfast burrito, chicken mojo salad, and the Cuban. Its a great little spot to grab a bite with your coworkers.

Best damn chorizo burrito around! And its not greasy! They also use black beans, one of my favorites! The hash brown potatoes are perfectly done, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle.

On a tip from a couple in the airport, had the original Cuban sandwich here today and loved it. The place isnt fancy and parking can be tight, but the food is certainly worth the visit.

Dont be side tracked by the reviews, this will be one of your best sandwich experiences period. Go for the original or the California, we shared ours, what a sensational flavor. This place is amazing and a must visit.

Im going down the list... Im on the Mexican Cuban. Their sandwiches are amazing. The salad is soggy iceberg lettuce so I would advise against.

Not very authentic compared to the Cuban Sandwiches all over Miami. And high prices bring down any value proposition. Small but efficient portions. Flavors are muted and texture/mouth feel are off. Disappointing.

Im reposting because my post was removed. About two years ago I ordered the Mediterranean salad with chicken. I thought there was something wrong with the meat when I stared eating it. It looked bad. However, I still ate some of it think that I would be fine because my boyfriend lives there and likes there sandwiches. Hours later I had my first case of food poisoning. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. I just want to warn people because I check ratings and the letter grading before I go place and this place has a good rating. WARNING this place gave me food poisoning! Do not eat at Havana.

I had the Ropa Vieja Sandwich today. I prefer no cheese or mayo on mine, and it was delish! 1 of the best Ive had. Really flavorful food, so you cant go wrong on the menu.

I came with my team for a farewell lunch a few weeks ago. I decided to order the Havana plate since I didnt want carbs that day.The plate comes with a side and choice of meat. I got the garlic chicken and side salad.We sat outside to take advantage of the nice day. Food was delivered to us one by one. My plate came. It looked plain and unappealing. The salad was not fresh and the chicken was so dry! It was difficult to finish even half!Maybe I shouldve gotten a sandwich! Im in no hurry back!

Nice and friendly. They have several variations of Cuban Sandwiches, even the controversial traditional Cuban. Im from Tampa, arguably the birthplace of the Cuban Sandwich. Ive had hundreds, and this place does a good job. Im a little disappointed that they dont offer a Media Noche, but that okay. At least I can get my Cubano fix.

My husband made an order through uber eats on 8/25/17 and when order came my sandwich was missing. My husband called the restaurant and told them what happened and the guy was mean and rude to him and was like not my issue talk to uber then he asked what sandwich was missing he said a chicken sand and the guy was like which one he said i dont remember and said he was lying. Such rude service. I love there sandwiches but not sure Ill ever go back. you dont treat your customers rude because we the ones bringing them business. Thanks for ruining my dinner.

I come here often, it is a great place close to home when I want to be online, has a free computer and WiFi, good food, coffee from the Caribbean, matches what I know from the Dominican Republic or Puerto Rico, great people and a good ambiance, but not a quiet corner to hide in, unless you sit outside. They always have music playing or the TV on. However still love the place. 2/1 during dinner check out the website.
