One of the best dessert spots in the South Bay. Came here with a friend on a Saturday post-dinner in Manhattan beach to satisfy our sweet tooth’s. The shop owner is from Naples and you can tell that she’s very proud of her Italian heritage. There are various gelato and sorbet options (no sampling) so you should be able to find something you like. She mentioned that the stracciatella was her favorite, and so I opted for that, pistachio, and bacio (a chocolate hazelnut flavor). Every single flavor was rich and creamy. You can get up to three different flavors if you get a waffle cone. My friend got the marscapone and Nutella, which was also very sweet and heavy.They do have actual food available as well. Credit cards are accepted. There are a couple of small tables outside as well as a couple of small tables inside. Street parking. It’s a family-friendly spot.

So, I had an expression and chocolate gelato thing that was completely NOT diet. However, the bitter coffee and the chocolate completely enhanced these flavors for each other. I would have posted the before...but, I was too busy enjoying. Nice, small, neat business. Dont expect much more than gelato and you will be pleasantly surprised by other (as available) fresh items...in small quantities. Enjoy! I did!

Best gelato outside of Italy!

Oh man, they hardly need my review, but it was so good. So rich, so full of flavor, reasonable price for the quality youre getting. The guy who runs it is also super nice. Finally found our local date night ice cream shop. Support local!

Im a gelato connoisseur - been to Italy and Europe multiple times. Never have I had anything in the US so close to REAL gelato as this. So. Happy. Problem is now I have to come here all the time. #ByeByeDiet

As I danced my way down Main Street from Sausal restaurant, I remembered that I had been wanting to try the gelato at gelato-go. Of course, during Covid, I had taken my time. Now, the store was in front of me, and I was caught standing in line behind a very excited boy child, making certain I stayed on mark. I had never been here before, so she quickly explained everything to me. Despite being distracted by the lovely gelato vision before my eyes, I fully understood. Of course, I purchased the large. Why would I not? Are you daft? I had the dulce de leche, nutella something, and mari sp? Basically, Italian. Oh my! It was so delicious. Now, I wont announce myself an expert on anything Italian whatsoever, but this Gelato was scrumptious. My pit bull loved licking the paper cup, and he has fabulous taste. I would say that I saved my darling pitty a sample, but that would honestly be a lie. I have to admit to myself that I will be jogging more miles diligently each morning, in order to combat my possible gelato-go addiction. I will make certain I jog to the store and back at a nice pace each day. That should do it!

Really nice addition to the Main Street food scene. The list of their other locations is very impressive. In my opinion their offerings truly represent the real Euro / International deal. I welcome Gelato-go to our community. I plan on being a regular customer.
