Seems like they’re chronically understaffed. Prescriptions are often delayed because they’re out of stock and if you try to call for an update expect at least a 20 minute hold AND multiple times I’ve had the hold hang up on me only to have to start over again…. There are a few staff here who are consistently helpful but at this point I’d rather drive an extra 20 min to find a more reliable pharmacy.

This walgreens is probably one of the quieter ones around. They used to have everything i needed but now they lack on it. They dont have milk nor ice cream. They dont have the correct action figures and if they do they hide them in the back. I can tell you thomas the cashier is pretty cool guy. The pharmacy takes extra long sometimes the people that work in the pharmacy see you and ignore you and just keep helping drive thru people. This pharmacy needs help they dont have good service. I still like shopping here because its local.

Is this a bag or are you trying to say whats up? I cant tell with this place. However its so weird I avoid it unless I REALLY need something only they sell. Like cell phones, the only folks selling them in walking distance. I bought almost all they had in stocks. None of the att phones are stocked though. Just Verizon and one Simple Mobile which is weird because thats a Target product. Why was that on the shelf?

This Walgreens is typically at or below minimal expectations. The pharmacy in particular is almost always delayed, closed, or unable to fill prescriptions in a timely manner. If you can go somewhere else, do so.

Absolutely the most ineffective walgreens I’ve ever been to, especially their pharmacy.Their wait times are unproportianlly long for everything, don’t even think about going through their drive thru as they seem to forget it exists sometimes. Every interaction has left me frustrated. Avoid getting your prescriptions sent here at all costs!

Literally the worst Walgreens ever. Call every time for my grandfathers medication and get placed on hold for almost an hour at times to never get a response. One time i stayed in the call and drove to the Walgreens to see they only leave the phone on hold and never pick up. There was no one in the waiting area nor drive through. I showed them how I was on wait and they just got upset and were no help at all. This has happened MULTIPLE times.

Made an appointment for my first covid vaccine on same day and it went well just a change of vaccine brand when I got there. That was last August 21st so I should be getting my 2nd dose on September 11th and tried to make an appointment but their online bookingwouldntprocess my information from the august calendar and only giving me a September option. I went without appointment and I was told to come back next time only with appointment even after I explained the problem with their online booking. What an attitude that phar acy department has...

Joanna at the register on Sunday around 1130am is super nice and such a great employee!! I needed something price checked and she needed the manager to do a price check because the item wasnt scanning even though she tired Multiple ways to get the price. She was very nice and helpful, unlike the manager! The manager working that same time was so rude to the employee so I could tell this great employee is under appreciated. So leaving this review I hope Joanna gets the praise she deserves!

My doctor tried several times to contact this pharmacy, and never received a response. I’ve tried several times to contact the pharmacy, but have been disconnected more times than I can count. The most recent event was earlier this evening where I was on hold for approximately 20 minutes before being hung up on, without so much as one human interaction.Out of frustration, I called the 24hr branch and everything was handled smoothly. I will likely be switching my home pharmacy to one further from home, but with pharmacy staff who answer the phone and get things done in a timely manner.I DO NOT recommend the El Sobrante branch unless you are a fairy godmother (or godfather) and have endless patience and resources. This pharmacy needs a bippity-boppity makeover!!

I wanted to share this particular experience with readers here. This incident happened probably about three years ago. Yes I do have a long memory and do not forget things. So Walgreens was doing a sale on bottled water. I wanted to purchase about six cases of water at Walgreens. I wanted to patronize them, in other words, let them have the sale. On the flyer I understood that the limit was two cases. So I figure I would have to go in the store about three times and wait in line with two cases of water at a time. Of course I was buying other stuff too. My first transaction was fine the cashier was friendly. The second time the cashier was looking at me funny. The third time he didn’t want to sell me the bottle water Because there was a limit of two as policy says. So the enforcement that he was doing just drove me not to patronize That particular Walgreens ever again. I really didn’t Think it was a big deal Buying extra cases of bottled water. It was advertised and they probably had 100 cases of bottled water in the back. So now I Go to Target or Walmart. Consumers do you have other choices besides Walgreens.

Worst Walgreens pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I submitted a complaint to corporate and moved everything to cvs after 20 years of Walgreens. Slow and rude and went to get my prescription a full 24 hours after it was supposed to be done and it wasn’t ready. Lady told me they don’t work like that. Like what on time even at all? I have a newborn and have to go back now which I don’t have time for and I’m without meds. I hope this place shut down.

The Pharmacy at the San Pablo Dam location is the slowest! I only go there to pick up my Fathers prescriptions wish he would change them to either a different Walgreens or completely different pharmacy!!!

This is the worst Walgreens ever! If you have a choice go some where else. The staff is rude in the Pharmacy and show such bad customer service. There is a Asian Pharmacist and a blond older lady who treated us so bad, they would not give us our prescription telling us its to late and to come tomorrow after we were very ill waiting. They didnt care, laughing away and looking at the cLOck waiting for the time they will leave. they even mentioned we will not give you your meds if close to 9:00. We thought we should share this so others dont go through this kind of issues! also we called today talked to the next group of people and we are having the same issues. I hope Walgreen Corporate reads this and does something about there staff, it is bad enough you are ill and then to go deal with people who act like they are doing you a favor or are gods is not right! Thank God there is many places to choose to do business with and no reason to go to this kind of place which such sad and disrespectful people. unhappy client!

Wish I had the option to give the pharmacy zero stars! They have not once adhered to the time frame theyve given, and this time is the final straw. I will be finding another one nearby. Again, they quoted 20 mins, and even after giving them more (1.5 hrs), my flu prescription is still not ready. I drove up to window the 1st time, but they asked for 10 more minutes. So, I go inside to shop and give them 12 mins, then go to inside window to pickup. Still not ready! And, its a partial prescription, to boot, as they do not have enough to fill onhand flu meds. Which means I have to come back yet again tomorrow. Since I do not want to come back for a 3rd time, I will continue to wait as my groceries get hot in the back of my car since I planned my errands around their time frame. If its going to be over an hour, its fine, just tell patrons that so they do not have an expectation of 20mins. - If this were the 1st time (or even the 2nd), Id be much more understanding. Hope this helps!

My doctor sent a prescription over to this store and said it would be waiting for me when I got there. When I got there I was told it was out of stock, this was a Friday it wasnt going to come in until Monday and I had to see the doctor again the following Wed. There was no offer to help find it at another store or any help whatsoever, it was basically youre screwed.
