Let me start by saying when I first discovered the shop I was very excited theres not too many small motor repair shops around these days so to have one not too far from my home I was excited to have the opportunity to make a purchase or have a repair doneNow I finally have a go-kart for the children and I needed a repair and the only place I could think of was you guessed it I went by before I spoke with the gentleman we seem to have a good conversation and everything seemed to be fine so now its time to take the go-kart for repair we spoke about what needed to be done he gave me a quote he told me to come back next week which I did when I got to the location to go cart was not done was he explained he was busy over the weekend which I totally understand so I told him I would return later about 1 hr later he called and said it was done (mind you his hr rate is $89 per hr ) and the total cost of repair would be $125.00 after quoting me $100.00 Im the beginning now the problem with the go-kart was a clutch plate which I had already replaced and it wasnt working since I dont know what Im doing and Im not a mechanic I took it to a professional I thought so it actually I just had the wrong size part which when I came in earlier and the conversation with him I discovered that that was the issue so basically I had done all the work explaining to him that okay thats all I did all we need is the right size part so it could have took him more than 15 minutes until the part on. So when I went to pick up the car I explained to him that I know he put a part on the vehicle so he could keep the one that I had which was brand new that didnt fit so that should cancel out the part itself as far as the price he declined told me to take my part back and he wanted $125 upon inspection of the vehicle I find that theres rust on the part that he installed which would implicate that is not a new part and its used I tried to negotiate the price and he began to raise his voice and tell me about how hes out money and his different experiences with other customers I had to wave my hands and tell him that has nothing to do with me okay Ill pay you your money but youve lost my business upon every YouTube video that I have seen they explain that the chain and the backside of this clutch should be greased with high temperature Grease which is not done I explained to him that I did not see any grease on it at all and he went into his rant I can take it off my kids are looking forward to it so I just paid him and took it home if possible I will include a picture of the flywheel so you can see it for yourself also Im trying to make payments they do not accept Google pay so if you use this place cash or card would be the best former payment Ive decided through my experience I will choose other businesses and that arena over this one due to their incompetence lack of compassion unprofessionalism in the of inability to write up an accurate quote so with that being said use it your own riskI am Dre Day of the Bay 😎 and I approve this message
