Im guessing they are severely understaffed because there was a long line both at the pharmacy inside and the drive-through pharmacy. We had an appt for a covid test and arrived early but ended up waiting lomg past our appt time. The bathroom is also filthy.
Got immunization shot. The wait was completely unreasonable, I scheduled a shot -- I was there for an hour! It was Friday afternoon in an empty pharmacy, completely ridiculous. Wont schedule here again thats for sure!
This Walgreens is mainly horrible due to their pharmacy….it is so bad every time I come here. Always inefficient, slow, unorganized, impatient, and awful customer service. They have been unable to find my prescriptions, unable to help, order more, and keep more supply in stock. They let me go 5 days without a very import prescription that I have been on for years and did not care at all. Go anywhere else to get your scripts!
This is the absolute WORST pharmacy EVER!I had outpatient foot surgery on Friday. Had worse pain than the first surgery, and didnt sleep at all Friday night. Tried a couple different things at home on Saturday, but didnt help. My Dr calls in an anti-inflammatory and a sleeping pill; he calls specifically before 5pm, knowing they close at 6pm on Saturdays.1. The pharmacist is an absolute C U Next Tuesday to my Dr on the phone.2. My husband goes to pick it up, he gets there at 545pm, and they tell him my perscriptions are not promised till the next day at 11am.😲😤3. The pharmacist NEVER said that to my Dr, as I had had surgery the day before and needed them asap.4. When I called the pharmacy to ask why they wouldnt be ready, was told that they have to finish the perscriptions that are due that night before they can process mine. As if the customers are all going to just show up in the next 10 min, while my husband is literally standing right there. So now another super painful night, without sleep.5. Its now almost 1pm on Sunday, and theyre still not ready for pick up.
Horrible professionalism in the pharmacy! They keep picking up the phone when it rings and putting me back on hold. I’ve never had such a bad Walgreens experience and will drive to other store. I don’t care how busy they are. That’s rude.
This place is a disaster! I’ve now waited for more than 1 hr in the drive thru for picking up a prescription and a Covid test that they are daily reminding me to pick up. No one has come and attended to the window. This is at 5pm on a Thursday! Just pathetic; I beeped the horn, I knocked on the window and everyone ignored me inside and the 8 cars behind me! They just went about their business as if I did not exist. Not even a “we will be with you in a short while”! Nothing, nada! Please use another pharmacy! I am from now on!
8 people waiting outside 5 people waiting inside for prescriptions. Pharmacy is horrible. I wait in line only to find out it will be even longer. Do not come to Eldersburg pharmacy. Find another pharmacy. The Walgreens in Westminster is much better than Eldersburg. Its a world of difference. I dont hate all Walgreens just Eldersburg.
Always have to wait. Photo, prescription, never on time like they supposed to be. Made online appointment once and got the confirmation email yet was told wasn’t received anything on their end. Hope for better management
Plenty of businesses have bad service, but the staff at this location is aggressively terrible. Whether Im calling the store or visiting in person, they seem put out to have to deal with customers. And thats when I can find someone in the store: often theres nobody to be found in the whole place, and you just have to wander around until the one employee saunters back to the front counter, muttering under her breath that she cant catch a break. Locations like this one give brands bad names. Ill go elsewhere.
If I could leave negative stars, I would! Every month is the same song and dance. My doctor sends over the prescription electronically and I receive an automated phone call stating that it is delayed due to a discrepancy with insurance. They explain that no action is needed on my part and that I will be notified when it is ready. I am never notified, but instead have to call (wait on hold for over 15 minutes, only to be disconnected or transferred multiple times) and find out they have done nothing but let it sit. Im then usually told that it will be ready in an hour (or more), yet when I go to pick it up, its almost never ready and/or the price I have to pay is wrong. Apologies, if any, are rare and with no actual sincerity conveyed. Its always as if *Im* the problem, and not them.
If I could give them less than 1 star I would. We have many other local pharmacy professionals; use one of them! Avoid this establishment at all costs.
Dropped off VHS-c tapes to be converted...not told that as soon as they ship them out you have to buy, regardless wether you want all or part.Total rip-off
As a current employee I rate the Senior Management specifically the Store Manager as outstanding. He has always been very attentive to his employees and their work/life balance. He is an outstanding Leader, Mentor and values the contributions of his team.
Just your average super Walgreens. They have just about everything from gift cards to motor oil. They usually have an excellent variety of seasonal items for valentines day, haloween, mothers day etc... fast prescription fills and ample parking. Very accessible from route 26. No real comments on the staff. Usually friendly but nothing out of the ordinary.
Went to pick up my prescription today and went through the drive through. No one was in line except me and I waited for about 15 minutes before someone at the window helped me and there was 5 people ignoring me at the window. The lady who helped me was the rudest lady I have ever met. She acted like I was dumb and asked for my name in the rudest manner.
Went in for my covid vaccine made an appointment was told we dont have any until thersday and these are the people you are trusting to put shot in are arms very incompetent dangerous.
I just want to say by far this is the worst location. I waited 15 minutes for someone to help me at the perfume counter and when she finally came over she looked like she just crawled out of bed and she was very rude. The guy at the register didnt seem to know what he was doing. The lady in front of me walked out and left all her items on the counter but i understand why after my experience, I will not go back again.

Seriously if the store manager Austin and Ariel hadnt been so attentive they would get a 1 star review. The pharmacists was completely rude. I had to get a fax number for the secretary at my doctors office. The day time pharmacist refused to give it to me. The secretary had to call and they gave her the wrong number. I had to call to make sure my prescription had been sent and Ive been waiting for 7 hours now for over the counter ibuprofen. I called and no one answered apparently their system is down. I understand thats not their fault but the night pharmacist was able to find my prescription and fill it so why couldnt the day time pharmacist do it manually or call me and let me know that they couldnt so I could go somewhere else. It is a complete lack of customer service, Ive been in pain all day waiting on them. They make most of their money as a pharmacy so you would think they would put more effort into doing a good job at it.

My client had a 12:00 appt for covid vacine.the people in pharmacy were rude.told everyone waiting nothings happening for 10 mins then proceeded to go out for a smoke break.when asked if we could get paper work to fill out while waiting were told no
** UPDATE**I am still disappointed that I received a notice that told me they were reviewing the insurance and no action was required. Because they did not, and action was most definitely required. A pharmacist did reach out to the insurance company on my behalf after an in person visit. In the end the insurance company forced me to use their mail prescription service to continue getting my medicine. So Walgreens lost a customer, but there was nothing they could have done about it.** END UPDATE **Store is okay, but the pharmacy is pretty terrible.I submitted a prescription to be refilled a week ago. And still I dont have it. And I dont suspect I will have it any time soon.I submitted the refill request on September 22nd. The app said there was an insurance issue, but no action was needed. Then I checked on the status, and they had just deleted the request. I submitted another refill request, and it quickly had the status of insurance issue - no action needed. I then call them, as I feared they would just delete the refill again. I was told to contact my insurance carrier. Hmm... so action was needed? They just didnt want to tell me? After calls to my insurance carrier, prescription insurer, doctors office, that the problem can only be solved by Walgreens. Apparently they need to call the prescription insurer, but for some reason they didnt or were unable to resolve the issue. Long story short, I have been out of my maintenance medication, and it doesnt seem like Walgreens has any interest in filling the prescription.Time to find a new pharmacy.
Lisa, a store manager, at the Eldersburg location was absolutely phenomenal when I went to the store to develop a photo collage in the photo shop. I was at a complete loss and she walked me through the entire process. In fact, she ensured I had a final quality product and was a satisfied customer while tending to other business in the store. Lisa should be commended for outstanding customer service which is very hard to come by these days! Keep up the good work, Lisa!!!

Had prescription for 30 pills, got 7. Did not explain. I called 4 times and was hung up on, after waiting 15 min each call. My doctors office called and they were extremely rude to her. I love my doctors office and his secretary so I felt responsible for this mess. I will not go back. And Im sure well all be happier

A young gentleman named Ethan helped me at the photo department for awhile. I had no idea how to transfer my pictures onto a disc and he helped me out from the very beginning of the process to the end. He explained what was happening and how to transfer my pictures from my Google file back to my gallery. He had alot of patience with me. He should be recognized for his work and following through with me throughout the entire process instead of just quickly telling me and walking away and not helping me. I really appreciate all that Ethan did for me. Hes definitely an asset to your business. Thank you Ethan!
I came in a couple days ago, but being from Woodmark, I usually go to the Ellicott City Walgreens. But while driving back home from an appointment I figured I would try and get my prescription before. The place wasnt very busy and the Pharmacy was great, I came into drop off a prescription, and the Pharmacist said they could get it shortly. I was expecting them to have me come back after lunch. So I got to wondered around the store for a couple minutes. This seemed like a bigger Walgreens so it had more items than most. The place was very clean and organized. My prescription didnt take long and I was in an out. But everyone seemed very friendly when dealing with customers. All employees seemed very friendly when dealing with customers.Would have given 5 stars, but I did hear a couple employees by the makeup area being what I consider catty and talking about other employees. It didnt seem very professional.
Worst pharmacy ever. I made an online appointment for a flu shot for 410pm and I even brought the forms with me and at 445pm I still havent been given the flu shot. Terrible customer service. Never coming here again...dont care if the flu shot is free....waste of my time....
Had what I needed at a great price. While paying, cashier said you know those vitamins are BOGO. I did not but went back and got another. Great friendly and helpful service here and love their rewards program. J

This Pharmacy makes my blood pressure go off the roof every month. I wish I could go back to Rite-Aid. They are not helpful, and there phone service is always wrong. Tells me my prescription isn’t ready when in fact twice now it’s been sitting there waiting for me to come get it.
Poor customer service
This is the most incompetent pharmacy I have ever went to. I have mote problems with being billed incorrectly for medication that my insurance company covers. I filled a prescription in January for the same medicine that I filled in December. In January they told me the medicine wasn’t covered by insurance. I contacted the insurance company and they said it is covered that they are using the wrong NDC number. Called just now and see that I’m being overcharged once again for my refills and she was like does your insurance start with 443. Umm no ma’am that isn’t me. They were processing it with the wrong insurance information.
Extremely slow, rude and unacceptable service. I waited in a drive through line for 45 minutes to be told when it was finally my turn that my prescription wasn’t ready. It had been electronically sent over from my doctors office an hour previously. I was told by the rude staff member that it usually takes an hour and a half to fill directly from the doctor. I was then told it would be ready at 630 It wasn’t ready until 738 pm . Eldersburg Walgreens get your stuff together. Hire more staff or close up shop you are unacceptable and give the brand a bad name.
This is around the 3rd time that my doctor transmitted an Rx to them electronically and got a confirmation, buty Walgreens has no record of it. Once my doctor had to send it 3 times. Something is seriously amiss with their system.
Pharmacist was “unavailable “ for consultation! I thought that was part of their job.
I show up and Im told my prescription was out of stock. I was told, by the employee at the pharmacy, if I found someone who had it in stock, to let them know and they would send it over. I went out to my car and started making phone calls. I found it in stock and then called the pharmacy to let them know. The employee who answered the phone was rash and short. He got snippy with me and when I tried to explain what the issue was, he lowered the phone and started talking about me to another employee, giving me cool down time. After having this experience, I will no longer be filling my prescriptions at Walgreens.
Walgreens is in a bad location despite it being on the corner. At times it can be very difficult to get back to 26 going the right way.The one thing we do like is Walgreens is open late Christmas Eve. The general store associate is sometimes hit or miss as far as delivery of good customer service. Secondly, when we do stop there and purchase something, frequently there are several people waiting to check out and only one cashier.
I am a frequent customer at this store and always find the staff friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and I never have a problem finding what Im looking for.

I was told that the cameras i sent in would b done in about two weeks. Here it is over two weeks and still dont have them back. I called to see the status, and before i can ask anymore questions, he said he couldnt help me anymore and just hung up on me instead of transfering me to someone who could help.
Went to pick up a prescription on a Friday night and only received 4 pills. My doctor prescribed 60. The gentlemen is front of me was also returning his meds for the same problem.This pharmacy has really gone down hill.

Updated September 2018 - unbelievable wait in the drive thru as they blocked access to the far (non-window) lane with orange cones. Total of 6 Deep, when I pulled in 7:44pm and pulled out at 8:04pmSpring 2018 - With the high Volume that this location does - it should have a FAIR and REASONABLE System for waiting on customers in the drive thru.This Drive Thru is rediculous..... and can take up to 45 minutes (if there are only 5 customers ahead of you.)The employees pick and chose who they wish to wait on first: closest or furthest lane. I have been skipped -twice- because the “friendly employee” chose to take the patron in the far lane, that just swiftly pulled in! even though I was clearly there m10+ min longer as there were 2 patrons ahead that she waited on.ignored me, and waited on 3 customers/cars -in the closest lane before greeting me!The pharmacy employee was beyond rude. She continued to take the cars in the closest lane, because as she put it, “they were there before me.”Then I just stuck to using the closest window, and wouldn’t you know it—— a customer pulls up on the far lane, after I had been sitting for 15 minutes, and gets taken before me- ultimately adding another 7-10 minutes before even being greeted!
I would like to thank the folks at the Eldersburg Pharmacy for ensuring I received the best possible customer service. There is challenges at times with wait times, which does get frustrating but has gotten better. Overall the customer service experience at the pharmacy has improved. One of the reasons is a few employees whom work there at the pharmacy. Especially Michael and more. Unfortunately I’m a regular customer for now constantly getting meds and Michael and others have helped me tremendously. First time I’ve written a review and I’m a tough critic. I’ve been in operational management for almost 20 years and always judge other operations especially customer service experiences. Thank you again Eldersburg Walgreens!!

Frequently out of common medications. After dropping a prescription off and being told it could be picked up later that night, I went the next morning and was told there would be an additional 3 hour wait.
