Came in for simple oil change tire rotation and change a couple air filters. I leave and not even an hour later check engine light is on... so Im still sitting int the store right now writing this, been here for over a half an hour and still havent been told what the hell is going on.Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many other locations. Im literally looking and 3 of the employees through the glass, standing there, socializing....STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!!

High dissatisfied customer I went in for a simple brake job I paid I leave thinking everything is okay get in car all my lights come abs light steering wheel locks not eve 5 mins went by you made me pay like everything was okay I go back in which Im assuming is the store manager whom told me the car was taken out for a test drive now you lied in my face please dont take your car to them honestly this is the first bad Experience I had I wont be back for a second

Buy your tires here for several years and they say they have road hazard but when you have a flat and ask them to check your tire, they say make an appointment 2 days away. Can’t just check for a leak. Determine if repair is necessary. I will buy my tires from discount tires from now on. They check for free even if you don’t buy from them. Repair as well.

Went in recently to have my car evaluated for some issues with acceleration. Two of the employees test drove my vehicle and said nothing was wrong and they were nice enough to not charge for me their time. However, when I got home I went to take my Rayban sunglasses out of the compartment and they were missing. I know this wasnt a case of me misplacing them, etc. I also dont care about being reimbursed for them or getting back at the employee who swiped them. I just want it to be a warning to others who might bring their car here for service, as I think the place does a good job otherwise.

I have been a customer of Firestone for many years but i had never seen so much unprofessional behavior by the team at front desk. They dont know how to talk with customers. I just simply asked the price of oil change and he gave lecture on it. Worst services

I recently rented a car from Enterprise and left something in the vehicle when I returned it. When I went to retrieve the item, Enterprise told me the vehicle was at Firestone having service done on the vehicle and they couldn’t get ahold of Firestone. After an hour of no one answering the phones at Firestone, I drove to Firestone myself to get my items out of the vehicle at the Recommendation of Enterprise. From the moment I arrived at Firestone Lance was out of line and his behavior was not acceptable. He was extremely rude and clearly unhappy to have to deal with Enterprises problems. Instead of coming into the customer area to greet me, he chose to stay in the garage area on his cell phone. When I stepped back there to speak with him he said he would talk to me in 10-15 minutes back in the waiting room. All I needed was to get my items and they wanted nothing to do with it. He began arguing with me in front of other associates.On top of his bad attitude none of the associates were wearing masks. During a pandemic, this is not acceptable. If your staff is getting in snd out of customers cars you should be doing your part to protect not only your staff but the health of your customers who are trusting you with their cars.

I called for an appointment for swap my tires with a set of winter tires.I had my winter tires used for just a month last winter.However when i called Firestone,i was told that switching to an used tires is against their company policy.I called Discount Tires and they did the job done.So every time you want to switch between summer and winter tires must be with a brad new tires.Sounds ridiculous!I have been loyal costumer for almost 10 years,and this was the last time i’m going there.

Rob and team did a great job replacing the rear brake pads and rotors on my wifes SUV that were severely overdue for replacement. The time of completion was reasonable and the finished job resulted in great restored braking and absolutely no noise. The lifetime brake pad guarantee is also a wonderful bonus. I have been a customer for 20 years. I have had bad experienced with this location in the past so I started going to St Charles location even though its a 20 minutes drive and Im less than 5 minutes from Elgin location. Today I stopped by to get air for my rear tire. The guy told me he has to write up a ticket to get air. Ive been going there for years and never heard of such a thing. Then the guy said they dont do that service anymore and that I should go to Discount tire instead because they do that for free. Firestone just lost all my business completely. I will never bring any of my vehicles or refer anyone to Firestone.

The sales advisor wasn’t pushy, he accepted my decision to not proceed with more work on my vehicle. I also overheard him speaking to another customer on the phone, she needed a faulty 2 year battery replaced. Instead of accepting the work he recommended that she go back to the person that installed the faulty battery as they would most likely warrantee her product. He didn’t know I was listening but he did the right thing, that’s integrity! I walked away feeling very good that I choose this retailer and I have for many years. Thank you.

Do not go there. They are either incompetent or fraudulent. Had radiator issue, they attempted to fix 3 times. Still does not work. I believe they are actively engaged in fraudulent activity. Contemplating legal action. Again, do not set foot in this place.

Came in for an alignment. It was performed in a timely manner. I was notified when one of my wheels couldnt be adjusted due to a rusted bolt. The toe on that wheel was only about 0.15 degrees off. The tech could have left it as is and I would have never known. Thats honesty and integrity you dont find everywhere. They also provided me with a printout of before/after on my alignment which Ive never received anywhere else.

Disliked the serviced I received trying to get the accurate information on returning a battery.

Brought my car in for some work, they told me it would cost $1,200, took it home to have a second opinion only to find that the damage was worse than it was when I had initially brought it in. Needless to say I got it fixed for 280!!! Somewhere else. Sometime later, I came back to do a simple break job, they told me it would cost a little over $800 because of an issue with the calipers, I got it fixed for less than $400, car is working fine no problems. Unless you want to get robbed I would not go here. They were kind and quick, but overpriced beyond comprehension and tried to rob me blind

This peoples are fraud. Be careful others. They ripped me off also didnt fix the car completely and correctly. 0 stars for this guys

This is a long review but my hope is to help someone else consider going somewhere else, through my experience. We used to get great service here, Im not sure what has changed but it has been 2 pretty bad visits back to back. The first one was before we took a road trip, I called because I wanted to get an alignment, tire rotation and just a check overall to make sure we were fine for the trip the next day. Our ac was working but every once in a while it would not be as cold, it wasnt our priority for the trip though this was secondary. I do have to mention that we have done this before and has taken tops 2 hrs. My wife took it in for the appointment at 11am had our kids with her. She waited around the area for them to call her. They NEVER did. Which is strange because they usually call to tell you of anything that you might need to approve for them to do etc. Well she walked all day around the shopping Plaza and she eventually had to call, at 6:15 PM (they close at 7pm!) they never called to updated or anything. The reason why they said took long was because the machine they use to check the ac, they were having trouble getting it to work to check the ac! Well she called around6:15 pm, they said they would call her back when it was ready and they did around 15 mnts later. Remember she walked around this whole time, with our kids. They were extremely tired and frustrated because they had been walking for 8hrs! Can you believe that! 8 hrs.! just waiting. She mentioned to them that she was going to wait for the van, not dropping off. She said she would be in a store waiting for the call when it was ready. Anyways, ended up paying $10 for the ac check that did nothing. And they NEVER did the alignment, or tire rotation and obviously we found this out on the road trip the next day. I was disappointed of the fact she waisted her day and our van was exactly the same 8hrs later. I do have to mention that we have a lifetime of free alignment and tire rotation. I still dont know what they did for all those hours. Now, a week and a half later I took it in. Made an appointment for 7am thinking that earlier is better and I would pick it up later that morning. Nope!. Came 1:30 pm and still did not get a call from anyone. I HAD to call. When I did, I mention that my appointment was at 7 am and hadnt received any info. Rob, mentioned that my van hadnt been serviced at all but was the next car! I couldnt believe it! Whats the point of a 7am appointment if it not going to be checked all morning! He did mentioned that the reason was because only one person was available to check the AC. Totally dispointed! I have to take it to another Firestone with better customer service. We really wanted to give them another chance but proved wrong again!

Dropped off the vehicle to have a rear tire repaired. After I drove the vehicle home - so it wouldnt sit at their shop for two more days - I found significant cosmetic damage to the wheel that they were working on. Since the vehicle was never driven with a flat tire, the only possible source of the damage was Firestone unmounting / remounting the tire for inspection.When the shop was presented with this, I was told that its not possible for them to damage the wheel. In other words, they werent interested in making right what they did.If you have a vehicle that you even remotely care about, do not bring it to this shop.

I have been coming there for years to change my tires and other car related issues. Have had some good and bad experiences with them but overall was pretty happy, but last time I went to change my tires I was told there was another problem with my car, so I figured lets get it done as soon as possible. They told me they have to order a part, so I told them I would like to get it done next day and was told to bring the car anytime next day. I specifically asked what time and he said anytime and that the repair would take about an hour. I come next day and the person I spoke to is not there and another person tells me that they do not have an opening to work on my car. That I would have to leave it for a whole day and see if they can work on it in between and that the repair alone would take about three hours. Talking about personnel miscommunication and lack of professional approach. This is ok to mislead your customers like this.

I always get my tires aired by them, I do have to wait, but the service is brilliant! Staff is welcoming, funny and professional.

I would never take my car to Firestone again. The staff is extremely rude whether it’s over the phone or in person. They have no concept of customer service. They don’t answer your questions properly. I would definitely take my business elsewhere.

I brought my car in to have winter tires put on. I opted to stay in the waiting room, and the man behind the desk said itd take approximately 1 hour. After an hour, I asked how it was going, and he said that they were having some issues with the low profile tires, but that they were well underway. After 1 hour and 50 minutes, I asked again, and he said they were just finishing up. After 3 hours, my car was done. I was the only one in the waiting room, and I wouldve greatly appreciated him keeping me more properly updated. I told him so, and he was short with his responses and claimed there was nothing more he could do, and that he did me a favor by not charging me more for my low profile tires. I said I appreciated that, but it did not change the fact that he couldve done a better job not letting me waste 3 hours of my life for a job that was supposed to take an hour. I honestly wasnt even upset that they ran into problems and that it took 3 hours; I was upset that he kept pretending like it was nearly done for several hours instead of being proactive and telling me that itd be a few more hours than anticipated.

Had a very late afternoon tire issue and they were not only able to get me in at the last minute, but the price was far better than I could have hoped for and the service was fantastic. Ill be going back there for other car-care services in the future.

First interaction was great. Second I ended up walking out over hostile customer service. Another shop down the street offered me 0$ for a 30min diagnostic and 56$ for the hour. Customer service you either get it or you dont here. Stay away from Rob when hes cranky, hell throw a fit when you ask him simple questions.

Got us in quickly on a Saturday. They only had two of the tires we needed so one employee stopped and picked up the tires we needed from a different firestone on his off time and brought them in next day to have installed

Made appointment with front desk dude on 09/09 for 09/16 for free inspection. Walk in 09/16, here for inspection. No appointment was made. Same dude states want to see if I can fit it in today, Yes, Ill just come back later. Dude, Ok sign this. OK. Ok just leave me your keys. I say, I just told you I would come back later. Dude says, Nothing is instantaneous around here. I say, I know, that is why I put in an appointment last week.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. I went in with a coupon for brake service and after they gave me the inspection, they said I needed over $600 worth of work, just for the front brakes. They try to scare you into purchasing thing that you do not need. I said that I would be back the next day, but they declined to give me the receipt for the brake inspection. When I got back into my car, the brakes were not functioning as they were before I brought it in. I took it to another shop and spent less than half of what they were recommending. DO NOT GO HERE.

Was in and out quicker than estimated time given for new brakes and an oil change!

I had my truck on for a lifetime alignment, when I left the alignment was still off. I only found out when I took it to my dealership. When I went back to have them correct it, they showed me that it was completed, however it was still off. The rep didnt have an answer for why it was still off. 2 times to have the alignment fixed and it still off. Horrible.

Absolutely Do Not Recommend this Firestone, I took my wife’s car in for an oil change and a caliper clean and paint. They popped a tire, damaged the hitch cover plate, they don’t test drive, they Joy ride and damage your vehicle! I Do Not Recommend this Firestone, Oh and I am a verified paying Customer, Just not a Satisfied One !!!

Even the place was the first time that I presented myself with an emergency. However, it was not what I expected because they could not help me due to lack of personnel I had to navigate another time with my flat tire to find another place I think it was not my day
