I could spend hours here. Love this location. I always seem to find something i didnt know I needed.

My favorite store. You could spend hours in here and still not see everything. They have craft stuff as well as a variety of home decor, seasonal items, picture frames, decorative pillows, vases and lamps and lanterns. Not to mention their candles selection is nice with a decent amount being battery operated.

Rude and slow. Came for the online return and it took cashier forever to process refund. Main problem was that he could not find items in the packing slip and really pushed me to get store credit refund ( cashier said that all items he can’t find will be processed as the lowest tagged item - excuse me ???what is that). I advised cashier that I don’t mind to help him and even showed online packing slip where you can see the items. After that he said that my refund is $188.51 and they can’t give me that much cash. I paid with credit card though.Then my cashier called shift leader and asked her to handle it. She said: “you can only get store credit card” and I asked why and she repeat herself again in the very rude manner “because I told you that only store credit, we will not give you cash”. I explained that I bought these items 10 days ago and they are within return policy period, I have all required documentation and all items have tags and this is wrong. Then she called store manager and she/he authorized cash refund over the phone. They are really pushing for store credit and this is a first time I hear this nonsense. Very poor customer service and could be handled properly. Also only one register processes returns and you can only imagine the crowded line behind me. This is wrong - either train your employees to handle returns or allow returns at all the registers.

The older lady in the fabric section is rude and grumpy for no reason I needed to go here to get some lace fabric for my project at college for halloween. I understand I’m younger and probably don’t know what Im talking about but I her told specifically what I needed and she started going on about how is she supposed to know how much when I told I only needed like a foot or longer. After I told her about 20 inches is good she started to mumble things under her breath. All I needed was enough for a very short veil. Next time Im not coming here especially when she could have helped me understand better instead of making me feel dumb.

I appreciate the help that I received from the hobby lobby they were very friendly and the customer service was excellent

People that are nice everythings 50% off on all decorations they have the best sharpie market collection in the world if we go there its friendly staff theres so many different things and hobbies from remote control cars to making a sweater is that great in your house or finding a funny thing to put on your wall pretty nice although my clock I bought was broken I got it I had to take it back

This is what you call the perfect customer experience. Staff is so well trained and knowledgeable any minor complaint you might have dissolves.

I prefer Michaels. And even if there was no Michaels hobby lobby is just not my cup of tea.

This store is very discriminatory and very religious? I didnt think that was still a thing in 2021 but here we are. Take the extra time and trip to Michaels. 😬

Our school needed vases for an event and they had the exact amount that we needed. We checked out and were werent given anything to wrap them in, so we headed out. I sent my coworker to ask for paper to wrap them in and another staff member asked us to come back in the store and wrapped and bagged them all.

This store is one of my favorite gems in Elizabeth City! So much pretty EVERYWHERE! And they sometimes have pretty good sales and almost always have a 40% off 1 regular priced item coupon! LOVE!

This store used to be a great place to shop before Covid! But they seem to have had a problem with attracting good hires as of late. Their younger cashiers are faster and more friendly than the other ones. Morgan (?) in the art section is gone, he was always great to consult about the hobby items and Copic markers. They seem to have completely revamped the framing team, the previous ones were stellar. My wife and mother miss the young guy in fabric. Floral seems to always be out of stock now of whatever my wife needs, as she works with wedding planning.However the seasonal, art, and papercrafts selection is, as always, top notch. The employees Ann and Claudia are always absolutely fantastic with customer service!! The rest just seem to want you to go away.After I saw on Twitter what the company did to its employees by promising Covid pay and then giving them nothing, I probably wont be shopping here much anymore. They didnt seem to have much in the way of morals, corporate wise. Michaels isnt as clean but they have the same art/crafts options!

Hobby Lobby provides great eye candy. You can find so many items to enhance your decor. If you want inspiration on decorating your home then this is the place.

The store is always very well organized. If youre looking for something crafty, they have it. Some things are a bit overpriced but a lot of items are very affordable. I love making things with stickers and I have never been somewhere that has multiple ailes dedicated to stickers. You never have to wait in line very long and the employees are super helpful. Ive been three times in the past week.

What can I say, we drove over an hour to get here, and it was WELL WORTH IT!!! a wide variety of Christmas and craft items... We found a lot of fun and unique items and ideas... Reasonable prices, a lot of parking, clean and spacious store... But what made it GREAT was the customer service... I fell in LOVE with Ms. Anna, Annie? She was Sooo helpful, a lot of people are helpful but Anna made me feel like I was the President or somebody... I felt so valued and appreciated... Then another middle aged black lady added to my excellent experience, then the cashier was the sweetest... We had a wonderful experience

The store is very clean. The enploy was not very busy but I couldnt find anyone that was willing to help me find what I was looking for. Ill stick to Walmart where you can get help if you need it.

Hobby lobby is amazing! The staff is always so nice and helpful. They probably need to wait until the season comes to put out the decorations tho. Its 3 weeks until Christmas and they have zero Christmas decorations.

Just returned some yarn I purchased, with no receipt. The manager was extremely friendly & fair. I love Hobby Lobby & shopping there for home decorating, gifts, & crafts.

Hobby Lobby has everything and then some but you have to watch yourself. You can drop a small fortune in there quick! Its always best to shop their sales.

You could get lost in the store, so many things. I love crafts so its like a candy store, lol. I hate you have to wear a mask. Prices can be high but there are plenty of bargain items.

Lots and lots of Hobby supplies and Holiday decor plus fabrics, flowers, baking supplies plus decorating tools. Almost anything you can think of they mostly have it or can order it.

Excellent service. I was not rushed and all my questions were answered.

Great store but they never have enough open registers. Lines are usually 4 to 5 people deep.

First time there. I loved it. So big ! Of course what I went in there for was out of stock. Just means I have to go back lol

Got everything we needed for our side of the familys kids to make custom shirts and bulk canvases for painting for homemade Christmas gifts. Everyone had masks, and practiced social distancing even while being busy. I could spend forever in there.

Nice clean and well stocked store. Some of the employees are less than kind.

Very professional. Super clean and organized store!

They were not enforcing mask regulations. I watched 2 managers just stand around and chat while the chashiers were backed up and the one doing returns kept having to get the to com.e assist. The managers seems to act like they should not be bothered.

It was awesome! Great selection and deals! The only problem is that most of the products like table toppers were very scratched up. But not too bad and nobody was rude! :) thank you!

There is such a variety in what youll find here that you can often return and find something completely new. When I was decorating for different holidays this year, Hobby Lobby came in handy. If you like to do crafts, like to decorate, or have almost any passion for arts at all, this is the best place to go. The staff is helpful, kind, and ALWAYS working, and the store is very clean and organized. Only during the big holidays did I feel the store was cramped, but its just because everyone else had the same idea as me.

I love this place & could spend the entire day there! They are more expensive in some aspects, but also have a whole lot more to offer too. Restroom was clean & neat. The only complaint I have is with staffing, especially in service-required type areas, such as the sewing section. Ive had to often wander through the store hunting for an employee to help me with an item. But all employees have been knowledgeable & helpful. I also like that they are a Christian organization, & honor God by staying closed on Sunday, among other things.

Excellent customer service and a variety of items you dont know that you need until you see them! Very fair pricing 🤠

Fun place to shop all kinds of stuff

This is my one of my favorite big chain craft stores. I make jewelry and crochet. They have the best and largest selection for jewelry making needs and yarn for big box stores. The salesfloor girl in the jewelry dept is always helpful. I also enjoy wandering the aisles to look at all the home decor and holiday decor too.

Helpful staff...one comment...this store is in an area surrounded by rivers so river decor would be a big plus!

It would be 5 stars if the associates actually acted like they wanted to be there. Older lady in fabrics seems very grumpy and acted like I had no right to ask her to cut fabric for me.

BEWARE-- store may say opens at 9 but that is only for 60 and over till 10. Its nice that they are doing that for their customers but it needs to be stated in hours! I drove an hour to the store only to be stopped at door at 9:00 and unfortunately was not able to wait an hour due to school meetings.

We really like this store. Weve pretty much decorated most of our house from Hobby lobby well a lot of wall objects and some table item . Also did some custom picture frames and very good job, very impressed!

Customer service reps are great and they have just about anything you could use for any craft project. Prices are a bit steep($12 for the exact same paper Walmart sells for $7). I never take my debit card in 😂

Needed a large framed picture glass replaced. The were quick and did a very fast, efficient job even bagging the picture for me to carry within 5-10 minutes! The framer was a very personable guy and enjoyed watching him work!

Love everything- lots of sales- wish there was one in Gloucester

Framing department personnel were outstanding in helping select frame and mat. Cut the mat on site and framed the print immediately. No wait or pickup later required. Got the total package within 25-20 minutes. Awesome service!

Expensive. Very few people, mostly due to the quarantine. Beautiful items just wish they werent so unobtainable to most of this town. They put this store in an area where most live below the poverty line. Dont imagine it will last unfortunately.

Bought a few things I never knew I needed. Lots of half price sales, store very clean, well organized. My cashier was new & was doing his best to get things straight but his managed was a bit unprofessional when she yelled at him in front of me. Other than that, this was a great experience.

A HUGE selection of really great items!! Just my luck, I broke a glass item. But, the staff was super nice about it! Im hooked on this Hobby Lobby....wonderful place and good staff!

Loved this place. My wife and I stopped here on our way home for her to pick some items for her classroom. Its easy to get lost in here. Prices are reasonable and a great selection. One of the largest businesses in the Elizabeth City area. We are already planning a return visit.
