I love the convenience of our little Dollar Store. They seem to try to keep it pretty stocked up. And I love the fact that they always have dairy products in their eggs juice milk sour cream cheese. Awesome convenience

This DG was so clean. It was as a store should be. Employees actually doing their jobs and there was more than 2 in the store at the time. I used to be an Assistant manager of DG so I was very impressed.

The staff are always so nice here. Sometimes Samsung Pay doesnt work here, but for the past couple weeks its worked great for me.

Good selection for that random thing you needed, clean and organized.

Dollar General is one of my favorite spots for quick, cheap toys to make the kids happy. The teenagers always like a new pair of headphones and the younger kids are always excited with whichever new toy I find.They have a pretty decent selection of toys under $5, and several under $20. I havent had the best luck with electronic toys priced $15 or over, but I have to say the return policy is more than fair in this regard.

Staff at this store are great. Friendly and helpful. They keep the store stocked and clean.

This store, though larger than many, remains out of most cleaning products. Perhaps it was because it was midday, but after spilling some of one cleaning product trying to smell, the one working associate seemed agitated that she had to tend to a clean up on Isle 7.

Customer service is outstanding! I cannot remember her name, but KEEP HER! DO NOT LOSE THIS OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE YOU WILL TRY IT.

They have really improved the layout of the store. Also, increasing the amount of refrigerated and frozen food is wonderful! I really like the changes. 👍

For someone on a tight budget, DG is always a good option. Ive shopped there for years, but have been greatly frustrated with this particular DG location. Its completely understandable that, at times, a store will run out of merchandise, especially frequently used items. However, for items to be sold out or unavailable for months at a time is hard to understand, & personably, unacceptable. Again, if there was a legitimate reason for it, such as a recall or a shortage at the manufacturer, or even inclement weather, that would be understood. But theres never been any such notification available. Everyday items such as Tylenol products, allergy/cold meds, various paper products are, for a lot of people, the staples of life, needed on a day-to-day basis, especially during certain seasons of the year. I dont know if its an ordering/receiving issue or budget issues, or other, but for items to be consistently out of stock for months at a time, think they need to step up on correcting whatever the issue is or I for one will just stop wasting time going there.

This Dollar General is close to my home so I go there pretty regularly and Ive never had a bad experience there. They always have low prices and take coupons. Ive always had positive experiences with their sales associates.

Good general purpose store. Good prices, parking and inventory. Slower checkout due to only one clerk at the time.

Ok i visit this dollar general religiously but the service has diminished over time. I use to go here and quickly get in and out now the wait time whenever you go to check out is AT LEAST 15 MINUTES its crazy how slow the clerks are there and its always only two cashiers working i mean i dnt really have a suggestion as to how this store should be ran but GOSH check out time should not be that long everytime you go so if youre in the Roper area and you need to pick something up quick dnt try to jus run in Dollar general its not happening..

It can get busy depending on the time. Usually after work traffic makes for long lines. Never had a problem with the employees being rude. Always friendly and chatty. This is our little grocery store up the corner. Beats paradise any day.

A very mismanaged store with few employees, cash register is seldom staffed as employees are on the floor stocking! Employees are unfriendly and have poor customer service skills. Frequently do not have advertised items in stock!

I found everything ok. There was an energy bar at the register. I asked the cashier how much it was, he said he did not know and never tried to check the price. I just left it at that and I laughed after I left.

This Dollar General I want to it was a total hot mess everything was disorganized boxes placed incorrectly in the path of me going into it was a hot mess it wasnt cleaned it was an organized and then the cashier looked like he had an attitude he didnt want to talk to me I asked him where was something at and he just looked at me like I was bothering him because he was putting something back on shelf I asked him to point me to the correct direction and he has he rolls his eyes it was a mess a hotness I had to go looking for the stuff if it wasnt that I needed the items I would have left this place here this Dollar General the one in Chesapeake was a hot and I mean a hot mess
