Aldi is my absolute favorite grocery chain. Things that make me smile a little extra when I visit an Aldi are simple things like shopping buggies with seats for two kids this making the cart extra wide and neatly organized products. This one has a great beer and wine selection.

This store Aldi has been in Elizabeth City for over a year and this is my first time shopping there.....Oh Boy!!...I am so amazed!! The vegetables, the fruits, the meats, the dairy, need I go on!! Im hooked!❤❤ On my way to a healthier, ME!!

We love Aldi!! Shop there weekly and usually find everything we need. Some of their brand snacks and cereals arent that great but so far everything else has been! Eggs are always cheap and fresh and the bread selection is great. Produce is hit or miss but usually just fine!

I have been in here twice around the time they first opened months ago. I am not a fan having to put a quarter in the cart to get a cart concept or having to get it back ...nor a fan of having to bring my own bags to shop here or buy their bags. I do not like how they tend to put everything in the top when you checkout where children usually sit because most of the groceries fall into the big part of the cart - annoying. They had some decent things and I did buy some stuff to try out but I did not like this place nor its products enough to go back again and deal with the cart and checkout process. Some of their prices are cheaper than Wal-Mart, some are the same. I price checked stuff when I was walking around the store on my 2nd visit when I got bored when I drove a relative to the store.

Their frozen foods are the best. Especially the seafood. Tasty salmon, large scallops, really good frozen crab cakes. I eat a plant based diet with seafood. So I appreciate the fair pricing of the seafood. The produce is an excellent value....If you cook it with a couple of days. You have to watch expiration dates. I dont eat dairy, bread or sweets. ... .but the pricing for those items cant be beat!Is the only grocery store I shop. Easy in, easy out. ....

I love this store, thru these tough times they have been there for their customers. Have always had good customer service and have been well stocked when other stores around here were struggling. I do all my shopping there and will continue to do so. Love you guys....

They dont have a whole lot of stuff there. Its a good place to get a couple of items, and I mean a couple. Customer service also lacks in friendliness. The cashiers act like they are doing you a favor just for checking you out. Its not much different from Walmart

Aldi Finds are irregularly stocked. Needed gasket boxes but they were sold out. Asked an associate about next shipment and she said maybe 3 months but nothing promised. I cant find any other local source. 2 days later went in to buy clearance items but there was only 1 person working the register with the line stretching long and getting longer. I left without buying.

I have shopped at Aldi whenever I was in Virginia, so glad they opened in Elizabeth City. Top quality meats, produce and canned goods. Great prices, easy accessible aisles without all the hassle of a big box store. Much cleaner and fresher than Walmart.

My 1st time visiting...I traveled back to our Aldi twice in one day. My first visit I asked them if they had a certain product that was in their sales paper, they say no. I went back later to check again and found it. Wish I found it the first time or an associate took the time to look for me. Wasted first trip! Make sure you check good or have an associate walk with you if youre looking for a particular item thats in their sales paper. Other than that, I like Aldi and will return.

Really like that this place has items that you dont see at other grocery stores. Was a little disappointed that some items were sold out and a few items expiration dates was close to expiring. Overall I do like the different grocery shopping experience.

This is the place to go for meats and other items as snacks milk eggs. Everything here is fairly priced. Energy drinks go for 99cents.

Great prices and great selection. Its nice to have another option in this city other than foodlion and Walmart. Their take and bake pizzas 🍕are delicious for the size and price also 😋🤤 their fresh produce selection and prices are probably my favorite part. The concept of paying to use a cart takes some getting used to(Ive gone back to my car a few times because I forgot my quarter)but its understandable when you see how many people cant be bothered to put their carts away at other establishments. I also have no problem bagging my own groceries as all the cold stuff goes into my cooler bags and the rest goes in my other reusable bags, we have more than enough random grocery bags stashed in our house as it is anyways 😂

Brand new store in our area and has a great selection thats always stocked. This is our favorite, and go to grocery store.

Not a good shopping experience. Cashier was rude. Not shopper friendly. Employees are not knowledgeable about their products, what they have or dont have. When they were trying to get information on whether they carry a product, the walkie talkie system didnt work.

Greatest prices on most products, friendly workers, always a good trip to aldis

The milk gallons were squashed down and some type of dark liquid was poured all over the milk gallons. Filthy milk section. The doors were not working at 8:30 a.m. Not friendly. I went on a Monday morning and everything was picked over. Not impressed with this Aldi. I believe the frozen food section has a lot of good items. The prices of chicken have doubled. Early in the morning be careful not to be run over by the cart of the Beckies - Aldis doesnt have a shortage, dont worry, calm down. The one in Chesapeake is better. Most of the employees here will at least say a greeting, except Natasha.

This store is not the typical Aldi. For more than 20 years we have shopped Aldi. We seek Aldi out from NJ to Fla and points west as we travel camping or timesharing.The bananas should have been in the garbage, the tomatoes on the vine were in open packages, bruised, and not fit to buy. They stock this store by bringing pallets from the storeroom which block aisles have 4 employees stocking carrying items around. With only one checkout open I counted 16 people in line back to the refrigerated cases. There was a broken glass olive jar in the checkout aile that was open and the girl called for liquid clean up but the manager came out with a broom and dust pan almost pushed me over told others who haf items on the counter to back up. Never ever expetienced this!The parking lot has the same broken mens watch that was there the day the store opened. The landscape mulch is around car tire bumpets like snow. The carriage area is littered with flyers, boxes, and other debris.On as recent trip the organic mandrin oranges were listed in the flyer and email as 2.29. They checked out at over 4 dollers. I brought this to the attention of the check out person who called the manager. She cam out and said they were organic. I agreed abd showed her the flier we had with us. She left and let me stand there. I waited in the check out aile. After along period she returned and told the girl to give me my money back and charge me the flyer price.We make a list before going to the store with specials from emails. This speeds shoping tine and controls our budget.
