Regardless of what time you arrive (they’re open 24/7) be it 4 am or 1 pm there are always a ton of people at this location. I do love the convenience of being able to get my groceries at any time though. My only issue is they’re frequently out of stock on things, I guess it’s more of an issue of the volume of customers versus the ability to receive shipments and keep the shelves full but that’s not an issue on the employees themselves. The staff here is very kind and helpful.

Checkout line will make you never go there again. There are never any lines open but if you go to self checkout you will spend sooo much time trying to scan and then calling the attendent over who is always doing something else over to put there code in. Dont waste you time go to the ShopRite in the next town over

Check-out is a disaster. Only half the lines are open, cashiers are wasting everyones time by bagging purchases while customers watch them. Be prepared to spend more time in line than shopping.

Again just another supermarket this one’s in Elizabeth. It’s a little cheaper. A little busy at times. Convenient for me because it’s between two places I always frequent. Anyway if you wanted to review the shop rite of Elizabeth this is it or you could just go visit at yourself write your own damn review.

The store Is very clean and neat, prices are OK, produce is fresh, they almost always have the things I need.

I dont know how sharp right has a 4.2 ratings.I was there four days ago and when I look around cant believe how high how expensive everything is.Since they did the new remodel trying to look like whole food. They are charging like whole food prices. Steaks are half the size they used to be and still the same price and now they have a new chicken brand name.Bowl and Basket its supposed to be cheaper than Perdue chicken its really not but it is cheaper quality its nasty

Shoprite is my favorite everyday supermarket for 20yrs.Not everyone of them is the same quality. Ive been to 5 different ones. I get most of my fruit from another store though.

There younger staff is rude, late teens or early 20s need to work on their basic customer service skills. I held my hand out for my bag and the young lady threw my bag on the belt for me to pick up. It was unwarranted, besides me saying hello I didnt do anything to her. This store is smaller than what I am use to, I didnt come for much but from what I saw they seem to have a variety of merchandise and stock very good.

Much better experience than Linden ShopRite. Cashier actually acknowledged my presence and said hello and thank you. Linden I will never step foot in again, but this one I will.

Its good, specially the self checkout lanes are so practical and I rather ring my own stuff. The Sushi is very good too, I got the lobster one today 👍

Ive never seen more questionable products from a ShopRite. Im done trying with this location. Bought a roast on Friday, sour smelling on Sunday.Over it.

The lines are to long and they need alot of more people to work on them lines and the Department area but the guys in the sea food Department is the best out of the whole store... But the rest needs a new person for the works..

This Shop Rite is very clean, organized, great sales and the cashiers that Ive come across have been very friendly. Last night, the cashier that we had was very efficient and courteous. What I dont get is that whenever there are several long lines, they dont open up more registers! Could it be theyre short staffed? And, Terrance who I believe works in the deli dept was super helpful and friendly, as there are two guys there who werent friendly but down right rude to us as we were trying to navigate the system they have in place when ordering from the deli. It was very honest that they werent people oriented. I guess some people lie on their employment application when asked are you customer service oriented. And I get it, some people dont enjoy interacting with too many people, so perhaps they should work in a position that doesnt require working with many people, opposed to being rude and discourteous!

One of my favorite grocery shopping stores. You can get almost anything you need without the need of traveling from one store to another, furthermore, their prices are affordable and reasonable.

New to the area so I was happy to find a familiar supermarket. This Shop Rite is clean, no weird smells, well laid out and a helpful staff. If they sold peanut butter cookies in the bakery, they wouldve gotten 5 stars!

I stopped by this place when i was travelling in New jersey. This place is stacked up with lot of veggies fruits and daily groceries.. Really huge and clean too.It would have been nice if this place had self checkout and freshly brewed coffee

A little bit disappointed for all comments about freshness and low prices.My experience was at Produce department which is the face entrance of the store; disorganized and fresh poorly in general.Bakery it was fresh looking but no cheap at all compared with other supermarkets in the area. Any other products in store is just average, nothing to be WoW about !!!

Someone broke into my car and they didn’t even let me check the cameras. If that was stop and shop they would’ve let me check.

Great news! ShopRite of Elizabeth has reopened its doors with a banging store makeover covering every aesthetic angle. They continue excelling with competitive prices and with managers like James Donovan whose keen eyesight for customer satisfaction is a cut above the best in the management team.

I had the worst experience ever and I’ve come to this shop rite multiple times. I bought a pink champagne cake at the cake section and the employee there wanted to play jokes with me. Besides waiting 15 min to place my order I had to sustain three jokes. The employee was evidently high as a cloud. He told me if I can take the cake without cover, then he gave me the cake with a cover for a cake five times it’s size and then he gave me the price tags of 9999 dollars. Does it look like any one goes grocery shopping to hear jokes from a high employee? No thanks. He was a white guy working at the station Monday April 12th in the afternoon. Disgusting service.

Ample space and well organized. I went specifically for the butchery section. Selection of meats was very good and the staff was attentive and knowledgeable.

Nice remodel and quicker check out because of many self serve counters.

Im a customer! I do not work for shoprite! Why dont I have the option to go to a cashier after a certain time? Why do I have to scan and check myself out? You have the workers running around helping people checkout and it gets too busy where they cant help everyone. Just put them on the registers and give people a choice. I will not be back until this changes.

This ShopRite is one of the best. Large parking lot. They have everything I ever wanted to buy, a large assortment. Many checkout lanes as well a self check out. Employees very helpful.

I normally shopping Elizabeth, Linden, Union ShopRite Ill come get what I need and whatever I need you have everything I want that that looks like one time where is low price or high price

1038 PM. On a Tuesday night and only 2 with( very slow employees ) register open. No self check out 40 people waiting in line, not a manager in sight and plenty of employees restocking the self. Dirty and disorganized store. Dont come here expecting a quick shopping experience.

Shoprite of Elizabeth for the win! I have been looking for distilled water all over the place, so I decided to call around for it. I got in touch with someone at this location and they said they had it! Yayyyyy! I ran right over and was able to grab the limit of 2 gallons. They had a system for the checkout line so people can be apart. I went to the express line and was out right away. But low and behold I dropped one of the gallons and it bursts all over 🤦🏽‍♀️! The security was so nice about it and got someone right over to clean it and told me go get abother one. Good shoping experience today!

Im giving this ShopRite ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because I could not believe how great the new reno looks. Most of all because the new sushi station is so desperately needed in this city. Not only is it surprisingly, very fresh...love that the sushi chefs are there if you want something specific. Great for a Japanese family dinner at home!!!

The closest 24 hour store to me. Love going to the store while the store is empty. Give me a chance to shop without a lot of people in the store.

Was surprise for such a busy location they only had 3packs of ribs. Around the fish area, very horrible smell, but the guy was cleaning the tank. I think Linden and Edison is better organized also cheaper prices.

Shoprite is good day or night, you always find what you need and more important at the right price. A lot of choices, and brands at any budget to me is the right place to buy.

24 hours open is great. The updated look was overdue. Only issue I have is time to time I cant seem to find an employee that knows where the location is for an exact item. Than again, everything was just shifted.

I guess no one notices the big intimidating radiation tower that youre now exposed to since they renovated and opened the front checkout counters they make you stand in line for!!They also must not support-local-businesses-mode*Fast and friendly score....C-!

Open 24 hours. We love the new changes inside the store, but the aisles are rearranged. So there is a learning curve to remember which aisle has your stuff.

Do not do the shop from home from this location. They provide old produce, 30 minute pick up times and always miss items. Stay away!

After this evenings experience Ive pulled my last hair out with this Elizabeth location. First I shopped from home for the 1st time I normally shop Target same day pick up but decided to do this and have my husband get it on way home from work BIG mistake. I had a split payment which u have the option but my total was put on my credit card and some shopper decided to substitute when I didnt specify.

Everything I wanted at affordable prices.

It’s been updated to match the decor and options of more newly built ShopRites. I like that they now have self checkout. My only gripe, and this is for all locations, they don’t have contactless payment.

This is my main grocery store, 2 blocks from my apartment. I love the fact that they now carry halal Meat, mostly Zabiha Halal Chicken. Shoprite has been superb in making its stores accessible during these pandemic days (Thank You).

Always has great specials. The seafood department is amazing. Always fresh produce. They even do packaged ready to cook meals. The flower department is lovely. I go about once every 2-3 weeks for some fresh flowers.

The remodel looks great. Still the same crazy grocery store Ive gone to as a kid but with a refresh.

The freshness of products in this shoprite is not as good as in Shoprite in Clark. But the cashiers and staff in this Shoprite are much more polite and helpful. Thats the only reason I go to this shoprite.

Directions take you to the service entrance but beyond that its a larger then average ShopRite

There never anything that I’m looking for, i always have to go to other ShopRite to finish my food shopping, the vegetables always look rotten the peppers they have mold inside once I buy it, I just don’t understand it a 24 hrs ShopRite you would like that it will be stacked up with products by 8 AM, but I highly mistaken I will check again this week

I always liked to do my shopping here, because its convenient, and close by. Prices are reasonable, and they usually stock everything that is on my list. And I would like to say that during this pandemic, they still managed to have the things on my list, and my trip went as smooth as silk.

Even though I went later in the day they had a lot of the shelves well stocked. No toilet paper! The check out lines were very organized by the workers telling you which line to go into. It wasnt crazy. This store opens 6am
