Worst customer service. With the short Colombian guy and the blonde woman managing the register are very incompetent and rude. I tried to get a paint matched and the result was not even close. The store deserves 1 star BUT the brand is great. I would recommend another store or the competition Benjamin Moore.

I will definitely come back to this store, and I will recommend it to my friends and family! I do admit it seems to be a busy store but Javier was great! He seemed to be the only employe working in the store and I must say he handled the rush so well. He was so educated on the product, he answered all of my questions. I dont usually put time aside to write reviews but such a nice young man and very focused too!

I was at the Sherwin Williams 315 Elmora of Elizabeth NJ on 4/21/2018 around 9:30am. At first we had a lovely gentleman who’s name I unfortunately didn’t get who did try to help. However Miss Cynthia was a whole other story. My uncle as a business account with the company. I told the cashier that it was a business account I had the account number and name. I was never asked if I had been to that location before nor was ask to provide a phone number for the account the first time around. That’s when Cynthia stepped in to help my mother and painter. Since that are both Spanish sleepers. She was helpful at first until it was ripe for payment and we had trouble figuring out the account. She told us to get other paint since the account they pulled up was a home account and not a business. I told her it was a business account for multiple business, it wasn’t until we said we would go to another place that she asked for the phone number. Im not sure why this irritated her so much but Cynthia had an awful attitude. She made very clear that she was irritated by the rolling of the eyes like if she was an adolescent. She then apologized to another customer as if we are the problem. I’m sure she a decent person however something went wrong in her customer service training perhaps she was absent that day. I have worked in customer service and sales for years. I can be the first one to tell you it’s not easy especially with tough, annoying, and just plain odd customers. I myself get extremely annoyed at times however I am able to control my facial expressions and attitude in front of the guest and customers. I’m unsure is she just a sales employee or manager whatever the case may be I highly suggest she get properly trained in customer service and how to control the eye rolling because honey it’s so not cute. And for the record her attitude so bad that I’m actually writing a review. I am not the one to write any type of review because I have 0 time for it but I have never experienced such bad rude and disrespectful customer service. And in the words of those annoying professional yelpers if I could give this 0 stars I would. Mind you it’s only this location and person. I have never had any problems in any other location.

Very displeased with this store. My mother went in to get a paint similar to the one that she had in her living. She took a paint sample to this store for their computer to get a match, or one close to it. Looked in the palm of her and at the paint that came out and it was NOWHERE near close to being a match. Her living room paint is tan and they gave gold.She told them point blank that it was not a match and their excuse was your paint sample is dirty which is impossible because the sample came from the day the room was done and was preserved.She went back after consulting with the person she contracted to do the room and tried to either 1: Get a closer match or 2: Get a refund.They refused to do either. They wanted her to buy another gallon and do not offer refunds. (Clear red flag for me).If you are a paint contractor or looking to do home renovations STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. The paint is over priced compared to home depot and their customer service is non-existent.We are now stuck with an ugly can of paint with no use.

Sent me the wrong order for the job had to redo the whole thing . I walked into the store spoke with a sales rep about colors and paints I needed they shipped out my order from Newark with the wrong paints . When I contacted them they said it was sent from a different SW store and it’s not their problem . Go to Home Depot and save yourself the headache
