I went to this place to get an oil change and engine treatment run through in the old oil. I only did this because I dont have the materials and equipment to do it all at home. While they were changine the fuel filter, they broke off my radiator hose mount to the radiator, all but ruining the radiator itself. They brought me back into the workshop, and explained it off as [The Mechanic] went down to remove the oil filter, and when his arm brushed against the hose the mount just broke off. The base was very brittle, so you should be glad it happened here and not on the road. What actually happened, was that the oil filter was stuck on a little bit, and when it came free [The Mechanic]s arm jerked into the hose.They are absolutely refusing to take the blame for it, and are trying to scam me out of my mpney to get it replaced, for $210 on top of the original price of the oil treatment and change. I will not come here again, and I will shoo away any future customers, because clearly the mechanic staff is incompetent, refuses to own up to their own mistakes, and when you refuse to pay for the item they broke, they raise the price of the labor by the price that the replacement item would cost. Nobody deserves to be treated that way, and nobody who brings up going to A1 Auto to me will recieve any positive input from me, and I will heavily recommend them away, so they dont have to be treated this way. If I were able to drive my car home Id go outside and take pictures of the damage they caused.UPDATE: I was given a radiator, and will install it at home. I tested the integrity of the plastic that was claimed to be brittle, and I can say even more certainly, My revised story based on what I was told, holds true. Certain events happened aroumd this situation that I did not condone, and I am far from proud of the guilty parties involved, but what is done is done.I cant say for certain that in the end, this place is exceptionally good, nor exceptionally bad. I guess, you just have to watch who you talk to, and whos doing the service, and hopefully everything goes right and your vehicle comes out of the workshop better than ever.Unfortunately this wasnt the case for my vehicle, but ultimately one vehicle only makes up part of the traffic on the street. Or part of the collection in the garage. Hopefully the idea gets across.POST-UPDATE: Installed radiator, lost some ATF fluid in the process as per norm, and car runs as expected with the new oil. Ill be sure to keep using Pennzoil Platinum, considering it took a lot of the scratchy sound out in high RPM. used to sound like metal grinding in the high end, now its smooth through the whole RPM range.I had pictures of the damage done to the original radiator posted, but they disappeared, either by the company owner, or google itself filtering out non-location images.

Would give ZERO stars if possible because they did ZERO WORK. Completely dismissive and disrespectful of customers time. I had an appointment for a brake job, left my car over night. The next day it was 4pm and I hadnt heard anything. So I call them and he tells me they arent even going to do my work! And it was a Friday and they are closed weekends. Didnt even apologize, it was just a domino effect the guy said. What a joke.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! They are the best and most honest mechanics I have ever been to. Their customer service is outstanding and their prices are great. I will be using them from now on on both my vehicles!! I highly recommend this place!!

Originally I had to reschedule my appointment they we’re happy to do so without any fuss or anything which was great. When I got there the staff was super friendly and very welcoming. He even offered coloring sheets for my 4 yr old while we waited. He was also very helpful with any questions that we had.I will definitely be going back to A-1 Auto Care in the future and would recommend them to anyone needing service. They have an amazing staff and great prices as well.

I have taken my vehicles here for several years. It doesn’t matter what type of problem my car is having they correctly diagnose and quickly repair at reasonable prices. I really appreciate the hospitality that makes you feel like you’re among friends. I don’t live too far from here and if they worked out of somewhere far out I’d drive or tow my car to get to them. I recently had some work done on my fathers 1981 F-250. The factory clutch was replaced, carburetor completely rebuilt, rear main seal, wheels and tires. Also had brakes put on my 4runner. These guys did GREAT work! The F-250s carburetor hasnt been this perfect since its was new. Idles perfect and choke sets and releases as Ford intended in 1981. The truck and 4runner both were taken apart and put back together properly and thoroughly. Im impressed with the work I had done and my vehicles will go here from now on. I would highly recommend A1 Auto Care Tire Pros to anyone.

These people are awesome! Had to have my van (which is also my home as Im on a road trip from Seattle) towed here the day before Thanksgiving. They let me wait in their really nice waiting room with my dog and get me in the road just before they closed! The prices we fair and the part they put in my car was fair priced too. I would definitely go back if I was in this area. The BBQ place next door is great too.

Just moved close to their shop and had a flat tire that needed plugging. Dropped the tire off, got a call in about an hour that it was ready. When I went to pick the tire up they didnt charge me and helped me take the tire back to the car. Stated they appreciated the opportunity to earn my business and will definitely give them more business.

Stopped here while camping nearby for an oil change and check up en route to FL after a 3000+ mile roadtrip. To find a place with this great of service, quick, and super friendly for an out of stater is huge! Left with a smooth ride and coupons in case anything happens on the road! A1 Auto Care was able to fit me in when I called at the last minute. They communicated well as the work was being completed and met the agreed upon time line. Very glad to know they are there. I will return for further work in the future. Small, but definitely big enough and local for me!

I am kept informed on the status of my vehicles whether waiting in the lobby or leaving them. Work is guaranteed and Ive never had to return vehicles for unresolved issues.

Always pleasant, always helpful, great people and great service. I had an low tire pressure gauge on and they got me in very quickly, checked all my tires and added air in the 2 tires that were low and took out some air in the 2 tires that had been over filled. Thanks for fixing my tires!

I was in town from California drove my 2014 f250 and had a issue with what I thought my tire balance. I had originally got my tires from Tire pros in CA, so found A1 auto care Tire Pros in the same town my parents live. I took it down Monday morning they took it right in and said what they were going to do, I also asked for a oil change with oil and filters that I brought with me which they also had no issues doing. I came back later in the day they found balance issues with all 4 tires and changed my oil. On my 2400 mile drive home the truck ran great, no vibration, no balance problems. Thank you for taken care of me and my truck and giving me a smooth ride home!!! I know my parents and another friend have come by and will be back.

They had truck for 2 weeks to fix brakes. paid them, took out for test run and went right through a red light. they towed it back to shop. A1 kept it another week and said it was repaired. Brakes still no good. took truck to another garage where they fixed it correctly. At one time this was not a bad garage. Not any more. Cost just under $800 plus another $150 to fix their mistakes. Stay away - stay away -never again

I went in for a full-service oil change and tire rotation. They were nice enough. Took over an hour and I had an appointment. 20 minutes down the road my tire pressure light came on. I pulled over a checked the PSI. All 4 tires had different pressures. I am not sure what happened, but not what you want after just spending $64.

Quoted me almost $900.00 to fix me car and said I needed a pretty much new suspension. All i needed was an alignment and a wheel bearing. Took my car to yankie bee line and got it fixed for $250. Tried to rob me cause Im a female I guess...

I have to brag on these guys for being honest and helpful. Ive been stuck between a rock n a hard place on more then one occasion. Ive been in situations where a normal mechanic would of capitalised and ripped me off for profit. I can honestly say this place is 100% about customer satisfaction. I always leave with confidence that I couldnt of gotten better service anywhere else.

Poor Service.They removed the skid plate covering my oil filter and did not replace it. This I didnt notice for 3 months until I had to check under my truck for another issue and noticed it missing, Called them, said they would call back, never did.After noting the missing skid plate I checked my truck to see if anything else was suspiciously wrong. I found the air conditioning was no longer working. It had worked just prior to my bring my truck there. Funny thing is, they did an inspection and did not note the air problem.They try to upsell service.If you use them you had better check their workmanship. If there was a zero rating I would give it to them.

Simple slow leak, told its Lunch time it will be a while ... Went to Hayworth Tire where they take lunch in shifts. Not only did Hayworth get my tire fixed ASAP but they wouldnt accept payment . So you got A1 who can turn away work and you got Hayworth who does the job for Free . That my friends is a Asset to the Community .

Spent 1400.00 for a full vehicle inspection and fluid change and they loosened the retainer bolt in my rear end. When my rear end went out they quoted me 3200.00 for a new rear end. Another shop did the work for 1550.00 and explained to me what happened and showed me the parts. When I confronted them they said they never removed the cover, but I had the brand new gasket... No resolution... These guys are crooks!!!

Exceptional service and has a rare quality most shops lack, honesty. I checked around the area for a tire shop that had a road force balancer that didnt want my left leg as payment. I found this place on google and called them to verify they had the equipment. My first impression was great, eager to be of help to me, took good care of my Mercedes... Fixed a vibration problem that was caused by excess tire pressure due to the previous installers. Was very honest with me and told me what they did and said no charge due to it being something minor (even though they did road force them). It is well worth the drive no matter where you are. If you want to kick back and watch tv while your car is being worked on and not have to worry about something being fixed that isnt broken then this is the place for you.. Thanks guys, you are awesome.. A+ all the way, I will be back for any of my automotive needs in the future.

My boyfriends mom keeps having to send his car back to this place. Last time charged us 900$ for a problem that wasnt fixed and had to send it back to them within two days. We just got it back and it still sounds bad if not worse. This isnt the first time she took his car there, but it will be the last.

Fry is a mechanic at this place and he also does mechanic work outside of working at this place and reasonable prices for his work that is done outside of A1!

Most honest shop Ive seen yet. And Ive been alot of places.. when they say they have the best diagnostic team in all tri cities ...I believe them. They found AND fixed problems no other shop did. And the cost? Wow.. just wow! You wont find better. Very trustworthy. They call you BEFORE fixing anything unlike alot of other shops who fix it anyway and slap you with a bill...I was called about every problem and asked If I wanted it fixed or not and was told the price before fixing. So nice to see a good honest shop for once :) HIGHLY recommend!

NEVER again.... I can only imagine the money we could have saved 😢 after spending $1000 for repairs we decided to check into other places, 1 being 1.5hrs away And the one we went with. The next set of repairs A1 wanted to charge us $300, because they use their parts and have a lifetime warranty, well, Oreillys also sells parts with lifetime warranties and we bought the said part for $20 and paid our new found garage $75 for labor to put it on..... Im Still @ a loss on just how much A1 Auto is taking ppl for granted....our son called and had them check his vehicle and they want to charge him $560 for parts and labor, however, through Oreillys & with a lifetime warranty parts are $125, smh..... DONT WASTE YOUR $$$.....shop around....

Best Mechanics AroundWe have been bringing our vehicles to A1 Auto Care since we moved to Tennessee. Their service is great. They are friendly and efficient. They will NOT try to sell services or parts you don’t need. They work hard to find what you need at the best price.I appreciate their customer service. I was waiting there once for my car to be worked on when a young fellow came in. He had probably never been to an auto service place before, and wanted specific tires for his car. He had the idea that they would have every tire anyone would ever need. The technician told him they would have to order the tires and have them delivered the next day. When he told them he only had the day off, and wouldn’t be able to come back that week, the tech called around and hound the tires he needed, sent a mechanic to get them, and had them on the car in less than 2 hours. He never once spoke condescendingly or irritatedly at the young customer, but treated him as well as anyone could want. They really go out of their way to provide A1 service.
