This place is 100% old school and they even put your name on your brown paper bag! Very cool. I order the balongue hamburger sandwich and fries. Delicious. Very cheap too. 1970s prices.

I visited a few years ago and requested no ice in my drink. I was headed to an outdoor event. A hot summer day equals a sweaty cup -> melting ice-> watery soda. The owner said he doesnt offer drinks without ice. I politely asked why. He said, Its always been my policy. I always support small businesses before big businesses. This small business will not be getting my support.

Great food. Serving size huge. I love the meatloaf sandwich and the quarter fried potatoes add a side of slaw and you have a full meal! Have not found anything that was not delicious. A small hidden treasure on Sycamore St. In Elizabethton.

Went to eat there for the first time today. I was told the food was real good. Went in, ordered and sat down to eat. While we were eating, two roaches crawled up the wall by our table. Then we saw another roach crawl up the opposite wall. As expected, I will not eat there again. What a disappointment.

I have always liked the burgers here...HOWEVER today is the last time I will visit. There were baby roaches crawling in the walls in the dining area and disapoearing inside the trim and walls. Definitely a problem and will be reported.
