Food n service were wonderful! Even thou they are a little short staffed like most restaurants right now due to the situation with the state n COVID. They are worth the wait. The staff they have from the host to the chefs are excellent. You are allowed to bring your own bottle of wine. Highly recommend this place.
This restaurant is a hidden gem, with trendy decor and a nice atmosphere. The dining room is rather small, but the service has always been good. We really like the roast beef dinner, a comfort food classic. It is really a sliced roast as opposed to the glorified lunch meat versions. The place, including the bathrooms have been clean and well maintained.
Poor experience with service. On 10/23 my party of two was seated but never received acknowledgment from wait staff. Another party one table over was seated after us had their drink order taken and served, and their order was then taken all without my party having yet to receive any acknowledgment from someone from the wait staff. The menu looked good but unfortunately we did not stay to confirm.
Best pierogies and drinking water in town! That’s it! They ran out of French fries. Who does that?!! Ordered the turkey dinner. It was thinly sliced (might have well have been a sandwich) and luke warm mashed potatoes. Followed by a chocolate decadence cake that was as dry as the Sahara desert. Needless to say I won’t be back again.
DO NOT GET: The BBQ (Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Smoked Sausage) or the Macaroni and Cheese. It would be best to stick with their breakfast since so many others seem to have enjoyed that, maybe its better. If you come for lunch, I recommend sticking with their Appetizers, Soups, Salads and some of their sides. I wouldnt wholeheartedly recommend any of their Lunch Entrees.Food aside; it is important to note that their service is okay. Could be better.
I tried this place out for the first time and was highly pleased. I went for breakfast and I loved their menu choices, it wasn’t all just typical eggs, bacon and toast. It was cozy and cute. I want to come back for dinner too. They also have a nice looking breakfast buffet for about $15ish dollars per person. Just wish they had mimosas for breakfast 😋
The food was excellent and plated very well. The place was very clean. Wait staff very efficient and friendly. Will definitely do a return visit.

Disappointing meals. Prime rib tasted artificial/smoked as if it was put on a grill after it was sliced. Also very fatty even for Prime rib. Inedible smoked meats/BBQ. The three meat sampler was terrible; the sausage was dry and hard, brisket sliced thin as for a sandwich and dry with no flavor, pulled/shredded pork run of the mill blah. Will never eat here again! The service was much much better than the food.
My wife and I were looking for a place to stop for breakfast on our way from Lancaster to Hershey. Caught the Hershey Bistro out of the corner of my eye and swung in. We were greeted with smiles and pleasant staff. Seated in the well decorated and attractive dining area. Menu was excellent and hard to choose what to try. We decided on the BBG Bennys, Crab Cake Bennys and some corned beef hash. When the food arrived, I said How am I going to eat all of this? But, somehow we did. It was delicious well prepared food with a nice homemade touch. (Nothing from a can or freezer). I can say that this was a nice find and that my wife and I have already said that the next time we are in the area we are stopping again!!Thanks for the great experience.Don (Trafford, PA)

The Hershey Bistro is an exceptional place to go for breakfast or dinner. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is VERY good! Homemade pies and desserts and the Sunday brunch is a definite must! Plenty of seating with the bonus of a shaded cozy outdoor seating area with a fire pit.
The back staff & management appear not to support the wait staff. I would like to have butter at my table as well as both sides of toast. The omelet is very salty. The wait staff did her best to their job. The hostess greeted us in shimmering black outfit better suited for a Saturday night affair than a Friday morning breakfast.

Great food, good atmosphere and reasonably priced. We ate breakfast here every day of our four day trip. Very good.
The 2 main meals we ordered were fantastic (hot turkey sandwich and the liver). The side salad we ordered extra was definitely not worth the almost $5. Salad was a little wilted and only about 50 cents worth of lettuce. The tiramisu was very over priced at $10, small size and not much flavor. I also ordered a bowl of the sweet potato soup, it was delicious and was only and extra $3.95. I will go back again since the main entrees were so good and they were reasonably priced.
My family just left the HB for the Mothers day brunch. I cannot say enough about the food and the service, it was fantastic. Very well organized, the food choices were wonderful and tasted amazing. Our party of six were extremely satisfied with all aspects of this brunch. We highly recommend the Hershey Bistro for not only breakfast lunch and dinner but also for this specialty brunch. Great Job!!!

Food is always on point. They do a seasonal burger called the firecracker burger. Love it. Reubens are good here as well. Service is fast, friendly, and accurate. My only complaint is that they always bring my check without asking about dessert. I want pie!
BBQ is average ar best. Service was good. Stuffed cabbage average also. Ruben was very good. Nice atmosphere

Stopped for dinner tonight and it was prime rib night. The food was incredible and very reasonable. Brendas decorations create such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Cant wait to try breakfast.
We ordered baked Chicken pie it was a little on the dry side I needed extra gravy.There glasses were large wine shaped I would have preferred a 16 oz straight glass.The pricing was good $27.00 for two.

The Bistro has been remodeled and the former gift shop is now a seating area.The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. They offer a delicious buffet with a made to order omelette bar plus a variety of tasty breakfast items. The coffee is exceptional.
Took a shot in the dark with this place. It was a poor shot. Ordered chicken cordon Bleu (super bland, hardly any flavor to signal the ham, or swiss; in visual appearance it looked very much like the double down sandwich from KFC) with corn fritters (which are just the corn nuggets on the app menu, not a fritter at all), and baked beans (which were loaded with red&green peppers; without notice). Also ordered, what in my humble opinion, was the best offering... The mush room soup. Otherwise... A poor shot as stated. Maybe next time...

Stopped in on labor day on our way to Hersheypark. Was my wife, mother in law and I. We had breakfast and ordered from the menu. Was not pleased at all. My wife and I are keto so we ordered a ham and cheese 3 egg omelette and told the waitress no toast or hash browns. I asked if I could substitute bacon for the toast and hash browns and got a no we dont do that. Ok thats new but alright so I ordered an order of bacon. Eggs were still a tad runny and no it wasn’t the melted cheese. My wifes was the same way cuz she brought it up in the car after. We got the bill. $42. Expensive. Also, took a lousy $1 off for both my wife and I not having toast or hash browns. $1, that was it. Will never eat there again and I strongly suggest everyone find somewhere else unless you like paying a high price. I will stick to my usual place that is down 743 closer to E-town. Better service and food. Highly unhappy with this place. Great renovation but didn’t know the prices would be jacked to pay for it
As always the food was hot, fresh and amazing. Raspberry toast is to die for at breakfast. If you havent tried this place yet you need to. Amazing

I drove past this restaurant everyday to and from work. One day we just went there not realizing they close in 10 minutes. We were willing to go somewhere else but they did not turn us away. The Waffle Burger is amazing!! I dont like burgers normally but this hit the spot.... I wanted a second one.

Edit: I have been back and when the food is delivered to the table correctly it is good. Service is hit or miss too. We have been numerous times and the last time was the LAST time. Server gave us the wrong food and then argued with what we ordered. Management never addressed the issue.Food was great even with a crowd. They appeared to be a bit understaffed but service was still good.

For Breakfast, I like the Blueberry Corn Griddle Cakes (Half Cornbread Half Pancake Mix), or the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, Eggs and Ham Loaf.Good Atmosphere. Give the Hershey Bistro a Try.
Mundane food, indifferent service. Save your aggravation and money. There are at least a million other better options.

We my friend and Iwent for lunch on a tuesday. The bistro was full. We waited less than five minutes when we were led to our table in the back with picture windows and mentioned that I was looking forward to the special. Icame on a tuesday and saturday is the day they serve the meat I wanted but the manager was gracious enough to have the cook make my special request it was delicious. This is the kind... of place that really is people oriented. We have returned again for dinner and were just as pleased with their dinner menu. Good food good service friendly and attentive

Terrible take out experience. My wife was picking up dinner on her way home from work. We live 15 mins away, not much right? Except, when they forget to give you half your order and 15 turns into a 30 min round trip. Disorganized, chaotic... How are they still in business during COVID? No, were sorry about that, no, how about a free dessert on us, just, heres the food. Thanks, well never be back because you suck, Bistro.

Slow service, food was so so.I got the breakfast buffet the omelet station was nice, but the rest of the buffet was dry or hard.
One of my favorite places in Hershey! Amazing food and very friendly staff. The brisket and pulled pork are great. Monthly specials are always unique and tasty. Breakfast here is delicious as well.

My family and I stopped in this evening for dinner and realized that the restaurant closes earlier than what we saw advertised. The server insisted we stay. The service was outstanding, he was kind and personable and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The food was very good as well. Ive been coming to this restaurant since I was a young child, through different owners and name changes and now change to the layout of the restaurant. The owners have done a beautiful job. Well definitely be back.

Tried it for dinner today. Very nice renovations done to this place. My pan seared haddock was delicious. Had it with the zucchini and tomato side along with fries. My wife got a healthy portion of pork bbq on her platter. Had to take some home. Great coffee. Desserts are pricey. I ordered pecan pie for $7. It was a very small round pie. I was expecting a nice sized slice that you would expect to get. My wife got the chocolate mousse. Very rich and delicious for $9. Server was friendly. Will definitely go back.
Great food selection all around. Big on brisket and BBQ which was excellent. 3 craft sauces to choose. Not sure if the gentleman who waited on us was the owner, manager or waiter but he was fabulous. Very kind and professional.

Usually food and service is very good. However, when leaving after breakfast on Wednesday, we were forced to walk past two grown men with a toddler who were not wearing masks. Also, we didnt feel safe because patrons were seated right behind us. Because the restaurant apparently chooses to disregard the rules, we will not ever be returning

What an amazing redo!!We would highly recommend a visit here. Great food, service and prices. The new decor is amazing.Try the mushroom soup.It is over the top,as are the suze of the portions. You wont be disappointed.
