Its got everything you may need and things you didnt think you would want but end up getting. I still havent seen everything but so worth the trip. Looking forward to next spring to get what i need to make all kinds of house and yard improvements. Love this place

Menards of all places has disappointed me!Ordered a small countertop piece for our bathroom vanity and our backsplash piece does not have the sides attracted.... or even cut. They must think that even though I bought a countertop through them that I somehow have the tools and know how to do it myself at the same time. They WILL NOT fix the issue, make another piece or anything to help. I’ve gotten three different responses to the situation.(1) that’s just how they come...(2) I think maybe they come that way?(3) oh that’s not right!So I’m assuming if their immediate answer isn’t “oh that comes that way” then that’s just not the case. So everyone make sure Emily in the counter department doesn’t order anything for ya. I didn’t realize that it was harder to have a 5ft piece made with the caps on... imagine what I’d get if I ordered for a whole kitchen? Hmmm.Since I watched them look at my order on the screen that says “caps attached” I’m not too happy. I can not stand Lowe’s, but they dominate the counter stop department. Price difference isn’t a factor when you have to do half of the work yourself in the end. Writing this so when people search this Menards on Facebook my post comes up.

Incredibly clean, well stocked store. And the employees are knowledgeable and friendly. This is my new favorite place for home improvement. One of the best features, besides prices, is that you don’t have to buy whole systems. You can buy individual parts of shelving, lights, bathroom fixture, and many other everyday items so you don’t have to buy expensive kits.

Love shopping here. Always a lot of interesting cool things you cant see anywhere else. Just wish the restrooms were cleaner.

I didnt know about this place until this trip. It is massive! A guy could spend all day in there and I typically hate shopping. Plenty of associates around for help. The store was super clean and organized. Had great inventory and good prices. Im eager to go back on my time

I placed orders totaling around $18k around 7/23/21, along with multiple other orders this summer in order to fix up my great grandfathers house that my brother and I bought. We are the third generation to own this house. Almost all of that cost was to completely rebuild the roof and we paid out of pocket for it. I placed the order a month ahead of time and all of the materials arrived at the Elizabethtown, KY Menards very quickly. On 7/30  I was given a delivery date of 8/7 because the materials had already arrived at the store. I had a delivery scheduled for earlier that week that was missed because the driver got stuck at another job site the day before and was scared to do more deliveries. 8/12 and 8/16 missed deliveries I was told were the result of a forklift being broken and sickness. While a couple other changed delivery dates were the result of truck availability and other customer orders. We finally received our shipment on 8/17/21, but only after I asked for our money back when I was given a delivery date 8/19. We had built weeks into padding for unexpected delays and had to finish within the week.We had to keep our project on time and continued our work by rearranging things and bringing in extra help, but because the order delivery was changed last minute so many times we ended not having a roof on the house before the order was delivered and rain destroyed every last bit of our ceiling insulation and drywall. Not to mention everywhere else water was able to seep into floors, walls and cabinets. We have thousands of dollars in damages, lost wages and extra labor/supplies as result of this service failure. We worked 14 hours a day to try and get this done, but were unable to finish within in our project time with a last minute delivery that we repeatedly told would be there.This is not acceptable when dealing with tens of thousands of dollars and peoples livelihood at stake.This store wouldnt even refund us our shipping costs. Absolutely nothing.All we got in response for a refund was, we delivered the materials so we cant give you a refund. So they can just lie about delivery dates as much as they want? Wish I would have known about this store. Talked to a contractor working on a house nearby and he said it took them 8 weeks to deliver some windows even though they were sitting at the store ready to go. Not the only stories Im hearing either. So beware.

Menards you have a great employee working in your lawn and garden named Trevor! He went out of his way to find and load an item for me. He also helped me find and load some other items. He was very courteous and helpful. Best customer service I have had in KY and Fl in any store in a long time! Great job Trevor!

True story... No exaggerations... Had company the week of the 4th of July and decided I needed an air conditioner for my guests who were sleeping upstairs. Walked into Menards with the intention of making a speedy purchase and returning home. As I entered the store I asked an employee where are the air conditioners were and she told me electrical. After 10 minutes scouring the isles in electrical, I went to the service desk to ask where the air conditioners were and I was told Plumbing. Same scenario... Went to Plumbing and there were no air conditioners so I located another employee and asked again. This time I was told I needed to go to the paint department because they were responsible for assistance with air conditioners. I thought that was odd but nonetheless went to the paint department and was told that he had no idea where the air conditioners were located. I explained the situation and he radioed someone for assistance and told me that it was the hardware department that was responsible for the air conditioners. I did locate the air conditioners near the hardware department but needed assistance because the large unit I wanted was on the top shelf. I went back to the service desk and asked for assistance and they told me that the employee over-seeing that department was on break for the next 15 minutes. I left and will not return! It took less than 6 minutes to locate and purchase an air conditioner at Home Depot!

Always love Menards. 11% off is still going until He July 24th. Gotta love that. The store is super clean, well organized and stocked and everyone is so helpful, even before you ask. I guess they can see the overwhelmed look on your face because the store is so big......I really appreciate the helpfulness and the friendliness.

Giving this 4 instead of 5 stars because one of the times I went, I asked for help from 4 different staff members and was kind if brushed off with a general answer until I was still lost and finally found a person to point me to where I needed to go for what I was looking for. Otherwise, good quality stuff, clean store, and a general good experience for the most part.

First time there...my gosh HUGE store!! They carry everything by the looks of it but one thing I found they didnt carry was bags of ice lol. Staff very friendly and the store is clean. I will definitely be returning!!

A nice store with a small showroom. Most items have to be ordered and can take several weeks to get so plan accordingly. They also carry a higher-end selection of products so anticipate on the cost being higher than products found at Lowes, Home Depot, etc.

This place is like Lowes home Depot and small grocery store all tucked into one. Got my 36 inch round table top here that I couldnt find at Lowes or home Depot. Now I can make my whiskey barrel table.

I am a comparison shopper . With the rebate and the quality of items they offer. Definitely, give them a try on any of your home good needs. I purchased a maple vanity with the top and sink for 130 less than Lowes. Check prices, you just may be surprised

My only complaint is the lack of tap option to pay. I went for the first time. They have everything. I was so overwhelmed because of all the different things I need for personal hobbies, work and play. So many great affordable items. I cant wait to go back and give them my money 💰🙂.

Got some of what i needed. Had to go to one of the other places to get pipe for plumbing repair, needed to have it cut to certain size.

I avoided going to Menards for a long time. But eventually broke down and went to check it out. I was amazed. They are huge. They have everything. They had groceries and pet supplies. They had clothes and, well, it was just amazing. I dont know that I could do my grocery shopping there but you can definitely pick up a lot of stuff. We bought light fixtures, insulation, snacks, candy, a sink, and beverages. All in one stop!

I was very disappointed with the advertising of 11% off everything and when I submitted 2 receipts in mid April, I never received any rebate. They didn’t tell me that rebate comes via mail on a postcard. Very poor advertising as post card can so easily get lost or stolen.! Somebody must have enjoyed my $28.00 rebate

Having just moved to Kentucky, I have never heard of Menards. Walking in, you are taken back a bit by how large this store is, but they have dang near everything you could think of for home improvement. Far more than Lowes and Homedepot, in my opinion. I will definitely be visiting this place many, many more times.

Need carry more stuff made in USA 🇺🇸😫 looking for good laminate water proof floor. Dont carry but one my husband did not like the material. So disappointing

Went there bought bunch things, guy brings out 2 new tubs and liners for them and drops them and then just leaves it for someone else pick up and rolls over by my trailer and leaves one tub and liner and other guy bring rest over don’t even offer help load, or check see if broken or anything! Worst trip there! Almost told them take all there things back! Spent like 3,000$ there and get poor service!

Huge store!! Price and service was good. We needed a refrigerator and went to the usual suspects and ended up Menards. Everyone else had no units in stock but we found what we needed for less and in-stock so that was a plus.

This is a new place for us. My daughter described it as Lowes on steroids. We had to see that. I needed some shelving for a den. We got a good price for shelf boards on sale. Weve seen Menards stores from a distance on trips to Wisconsin & Minnesota. They are venturing south. You can order carports of a couple of types, which we are interested in buying. It comes as a kit. Instructions are on line. I think you can contract through them for installation or do it yourself with the help of a friend.

A definite good alternative from Lowes and home Depot. The advantage they have is that they have more items in stock without having to special order including appliances.

Employees are polite and helpful when asked. I say this because some at similar type stores are not polite always and do not want to help. Also the layout is nice, and all areas of the store are always clean including bathrooms. Also the bathroom sinks are set to warm water only which is nice. Small detail but I noticed...I dont know if it was on purpose or a mishap but either way its great!

I love shopping at Menards. Theyve got everything you could ever need. Food, drinks, patio furniture, indoor furniture, lumber, electronics, its total sensory overload and I LOVE it! Not to mention Great prices!!

Wonderful place to shop everything sells there one stop shop. The good thing is if you have a return and lost your receipt once you pay with card or check there is a sytem there where you can print over you receipt.

This was the absolute worse service I’ve ever had in my entire life. I was rudely told where to drive for online orders. I was then told a general area on where to check in for my order. When I walked in to tell the employee my order number. She never looked at me. And was strait rude to me the entire time. Then I practically had to ask for assistance multiple times on finding my item in the large area behind the store. The loader was friendly. But terrible service getting what I need. The employee that scans and takes care of the online ordering is the rudest most disrespectful person I’ve ever encountered in my entire life.

This is a very nice, large store that has a really large selection of pretty much anything you can think of needing! It is a very nice addition to the selection of stores in Elizabethtown.

Went there on a Thursday evening to get electrical, plumbing, paint, gardening & landscaping supplies.With all the projects that Im in charge of, I spent a lot of time & money.The staff was extremely helpful & even went out of their way to make the purchase & loading easier for me!I watched as the staff worked together to answer questions, solve problems and make sure that everything was done correctly, load and that all items were on the packing list and receipt.Hats Off, to the Staff and Management at this location!Theyre doing a great job.....Check um out!You Wont Be Sorry! 🙂
