Ouststanding local bagel shop. Service was superb with every item made to order. Busy morning traffic we went at 10am. Variety is good and we ordered hot and cold items and everything was fresh and tasty. They even have a little treat for your furry friends with a bagel shaped dog bone. Too cute. In the middle of the restaurant seating area you can watch the baker freshly make the days bagels. An overall cool experience with great food. They also make their own cream cheese which I highly recommend and locals rave about .😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋

Love this place! I always get the Hot Tomazzo Bagel and this most recent trip I had the tuna melt on the jot tomato bagel. It was very good 👍

The girls behind the counter made both sandwiches wrong. I guess they were more interested in closing duties.Got home to discover they were made wrong it was upsetting and disappointing.Check your orders before you leave.

The three stars are definitely for the wonderful staff there. The kids that work are very cheerful and energetic and spirited for the job . The food we tried were okay .Wished the beagles were wrapped separate when we buy other stuff. We came home to find the beagles and the cheese cups stacked in the freezer were on top of the beagles .It is just a suggestion that it was done that way without asking. I am sure that if I requested the beagles to be wrapped separate the wonderful staff would have readily done it for me .

Bagels and coffee just bring back a feeling of normal. Fresh tasty bagel varieties, nice assortment of cream cheese flavors. Top it with tomato, onion cucumber or lox. Or many other options. Prompt service and the restaurant is very clean, although no indoor eating right now.

Bagels taste fresh. You got over 10 options to pick from and I picked sour dough. It was warm, fluffy, and it tasted like fresh baked sour bread...it was delicious. Service was kind and pricing is very reasonable. The building is very hidden and the interior/decor is very out dated, I thought I was about to sit on some school lunch bleachers and play Bingo. Good food though.

Today must have been a off day for them. My bagel sandwich was soaked in grease! Way to hot to eat!I really love this place...I guess 1 time being off is not bad.They make the bagels fresh everyday...they are the best...flavors are crisp...excellent for all occasions. ❤

One of the few bagel places in the area and definitely the best!!!! Fantastic selection of bagels, including an elusive salt bagel! Their sandwiches are delicious - good amount of food for the price. I always get the California turkey. Highly recommend their potato salad- soooo yummy. The staff is always friendly no matter how busy it is. Let me know if you want to open a location in Phoenix!!

Bagels too fluffy and not a nice crisp bagel crust, even after toasting. Scallion/onion cream cheese no taste of onion.Eggs for the egg bagel needs a bit of seasoning very bland.

Excellent quality of bagels and cream cheese. I love their early opening time and friendly staffs. I asked one of the crews to sliced 13 bagels, and she happily did it for me, she was very kind. Although, I wish they have the slicer like the Panera bread so employees can assist customers easier. Your bagels are the best!!

I have been shopping at this location for only couple of months but my satisfaction rate has decreased quite a lot within the last month. It seems like their bagels are not quite the same like they were. For the last three visits,bagels were tasting old, they were not as chewy and they decreased in size. I dont know if it is worth going there anymore.

Stopped for two dozen and they suggested the box of bakers dozen and two small cream cheese. So I got two boxes that totaled $42.00.When I finally opened the cream cheese at my destination I found their deceptive little trick. They spread the cheese up onto the sides of the clear tub but the center is nearly half the depth. The tub states net weight 8 oz. I weighed them all IN THE TUB, so gross weight and each was between 5 1/2 and 6 3/4 oz. it would have been much less if you subtract the tub and lid. I picked 3 different flavors and they were all packaged the same way. At this rate they double their profit with each tub of cream cheese. You could see the swirl marks where they pushed the cheese up all the way on the sides. So when you grab it from the cooler it looks full.This is intentional and extremely dishonest. There used to be loads of bagel stores but very few now but this was my last trip to Great American. I have pictures and my next stop is to the village. Great American Bagel is ripping people off.Update of review from two weeks ago. Since my review there was a response posted by the store fanchisee asking me to contact the franchise owner Chris. We spoke today and I was sincerely appreciative that the owner would reach out to assure me the issue was addressed. I have not been back since my review date and thought I would not return but after speaking with Chris I know I will visit them again. This is an example of good business and customer service. I appreciate that the owner would deal personally with something like a cream cheese issue.

Had one around by where I grew up and it closed. Finally found this one and did not live up to the hype from what I remember. I ordered a Ruben melt and it was very greasy. It was almost too hot to eat. Came with a side of potato salad or Cole slaw and a pickle. Their bagel selection looked delicious as always. Just wish they could do a better job with their hot sandwiches

This place is a rip-off. They use cheap ingredients(Aldi). Everything is microwaved, bacon, egg n sausage. For the price I would expect better quality. For the quality they should be charging McDonald’s prices.

Way OVERPRICED!

This place is soooo expensive. I had 2 lox and bagel sandwiches and it cost me close to 25 dollars. I realize the price per pound for lox but the place didnt even have a garlic bagel. Or maybe they didnt have one out at the time. Plus its not like there was a huge helping of it. Just not worth the money if you ask me.
