220 Electronics is the go-to company on the Internet for region free dvd and blu-ray players. I bought my last Oppo player from them and my latest Sony UBP X700M player. Their prices are good, shipping fast, and their support folks are always there when you have questions both pre and post sales. Will continue to shop with them.

I purchased a region free Blu-ray player from their site. The player works fine now, but I had to troubleshoot some issues with it on my own since I sent multiple emails that went unanswered. Also, I ended up being able to speak to one of their tech employees who proceeded to act as if I didnt know what I was talking about. He had quite an attitude problem and spoke down to me. I am happy with my player since I was able to get it fixed myself, but I am extremely disappointed with their customer service or lack thereof.

Don´t expect basically ANY replies from them regarding ANY issue. Worst customer service ever. Call center is in INDIA so prepare to be very patient to try to understand their English, besides they are VERY rude!

Exceptional customer service. I am stationed overseas and had a minor issue which was quickly resolved by a gentleman named Mike. His response, reaction, and attention to my dilemma has created a customer for life from me. If I didnt live on another continent I would drive to this store to see it in person and to shake Mikes hand.

Ordered once in 2011 and had had an OK experience even though the service was sub-par on the phone. They are always willing to book an order but much less helpful when the product hasnt arrived or doesnt work as expected. This time, I ordered and received a player that was missing a number of features listed. Upon calling, they offered me to return the player and send me a new one (that was in November). They claim they have never received it and cannot track it unless I provide a tracking number. When I called them again at 4:25PT today, they said they were closing asking me to call AGAIN tomorrow. I have had it with these $%^%#%!

False Advertising!I would not purchase from this company. We purchased a burner and it said was supposed to be an Alpina. After we received it, it was a different brand/ model. I even called to discuss the burner before placing the order and specifically mentioned that I would be purchasing the Alpina. The person on the phone mentioned they had made a lot of changes to the Alpina burner. Not once did he mention that it would be a different brand. He also mentioned that it would be the europeen plug which is a C. The burner came with a type E plug.When we called them, they agreed that the photo on the website should be changed. Its been almost a week and they are still showing the incorrect photo.Purchase your 220V items elsewhere. They are not to be trusted.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices and shipping were reasonable. Excellent buying experience.
