The staff here are great and by great I mean superb. The staff are super welcoming and helpful, they are hilarious and take their job very seriously. I highly recommend this spot to everyone that needs a fresh pair of glasses or an eye exam. Plus this location is super convenient as it is located right to the side of Costco.

I would first off like to say that the staff is always polite and attentive when greeted upon entry. Last week I was able to purchase two pairs of glasses for 59.95 using their current promotion. I was helped out by their current general manager Alex and she was thankfully able to help me out and make my experience great by ensuring that my needs for my glasses would be met and on time. I am extremely happy with how my experience went overall and I am happy to say that I will be proudly back the next time I have an issue with my glasses.

This place is amazing. I lost my glasses at a hotel and this Stanton location was able to hook me up with two pairs on the same day. I came back two weeks later because something was slightly off with one of my lenses due to my astigmatism. They were busy as hell, but still able to accommodate me and help adjust my frames. Theyre just some of the nicest people Ive come across lately. Absolutely recommend coming here. Book an appointment though, they can get busy.

Today I picked up a pair of glasses I had ordered and was greeted by Ty. I have seen Ty a few times at the Arden location where she was always willing to take the extra time with me to make sure I was satisfied. The staff at every location I have been has always been extremely helpful and courteous. Ty definitely knows how to help someone find just what they want. I have witnessed her calling all the other locations to find a certain frame for other customers. It is a pleasure to come into Stanton because I always feel welcomed and I know I will be taken care of. I have and will continue to recommend Stanton to all who are in need of their vision needs. I have brought my brother, sister, mother, husband, as well as a few friends.

Customer service excellent and staff very attentive. Piero very informative and patient since I was full of questions. Broke free from long term member of HMO so coming to this eye care store was first time and he was extremely helpful. A wide variety of frames and the cost for my needs were very reasonable. Highly recommend Stanton Optical to all my family and friends.

I went there with my wife today and they are great. Their customer service is amazing. One associate picked out the perfect frames that my wife didn’t notice at first. They are all friendly and very thorough. We were in and out within a hour. Overall, it was a great experience.

Im newer to Elk Grove and I needed to fill my New contact lens prescription, I wanted somewhere close to home and Stanton Optical was a convenient location.As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Mrs. Lisa, who informed me that there would be a short wait and then proceeded to take my information and my prescription, at the same time, cracking a joke or two.She made me and my partner laugh.Mrs. Lisa pointed me to the glasses rack in case I wanted to purchase a pair of glasses in addition to my contact lenses.Which seemed to be a good idea.Mrs. Lisa checked in with me several times to see how I was doing and to update me on my turn in line, she was pleasantly funny and made the time waiting to be seen, go by a lot faster.When it was my turn, Mrs. Lisa introduced me to Roni at the counter who was also very friendly and helpful.Then Carissa came over and introduced herself as well.I had a good laugh with all the ladies at Stanton Optical, they made the whole process positive, light and quick.The Elk Grove Stanton Optical staff are a bunch of great ladies with good experience and advice.All Stanton Optical needs improvement on is their choices of glasses frames.They need more Cat eye glasses frames for us women.Otherwise hands down Ill be back for my contacts lenses renewals.Thanks again Ladies!

Very friendly, very clean, lots of frames to choose from, my new store to purchase my families glasses from. We did a walk in appointment and we didnt wait very long, did all the eye tests and even saw a doctor all on the same day then got 2 new frames for very cheap. Extremely helpful and they all have the patient and not customer mentality.

I had a great experience when I ordered my glasses. The problems started when I picked my glasses up. I was told that my glasses did not need adjusting & I left with my request to adjust the glasses unfulfilled. I returned & encountered two incompetent young ladies. No name tags or names given. Both ladies took my glasses tweaked them until they cracked! One lady told me that she was not good at adjusting glasses, but that is part of her job! What type of training did she receive? How professional is it to tell a customer about your inability to complete your job? I now have glasses that I cannot wear thanks to the ladies at the Elk Grove Stanton Optical location.

My husband and I went to get glasses yesterday..we were treated very well by Carissa..I got 2 new pairs of glasses..one for inside and 1 for in the sun. My hubby also got 2 new pairs of glasses. I had a very positive experience at this store. As someone who has had extreme anxiety over the pandemic and even delayed routine healthcare because of it, I really appreciated how understanding and accommodating the staff was. Everyone I interacted with was so respectful and kind. The store was very clean and had clear safety precautions in place which also helped me to feel more comfortable.

I had a horrible experience in the arden location. Employee was rude and got my prescription wrong TWICE! I then had to go to elk grove location, where I was first helped by Thai. She was really sweet and determined to help. But the man to see is PIERRE!! Hes the best. He was so kind, helpful, he upgraded my glasses from all the inconvenience that arden store gave me, and he turned my negative experience around. If you have to go to Stanton go see Pierre in Elk Grove location. He got you!!!! 100 stars 🌟 if I could for him. Thank you so much Pierre. I came to this office last year because of the great reviews. I purchased 2 pairs of glasses with the eye exam and a set of disposable contacts for close to $800. Very nice and friendly staff. I was set the expectation that my glasses would take 3 weeks to arrive. I tried on the frames and asked for them to be adjusted since they fit a little big. I was told not to worry that they would be adjusted. A week later I got my contacts. Everything was great. Came 3 weeks I called and was told my order was there and ready for pick up. I get there and only my sunglasses are there. I was told they must of misplaced the other pair but that they would have them reordered and would be there in a few days. Okay cool. Over a week passed and no call. I called over a week later, guess what?! Glasses where there! None of my pairs were adjusted by the way. I was too upset to even ask anymore. Recently one pair broke. I took them in and was told it would be 2 weeks to get them fixed. I called a little over 2 weeks later and was told they would arrive that coming Monday and I would get a call back for an update. Cool. No call on Monday or the entire week for that matter. I went in today a week later. My order has been delayed and won’t be there until tomorrow. I understand things happen. I am a very patient person, but this is it’s too much. No one cared to call, as a paying customer at least a call back would be appreciated.UPDATE: 2/15/21 - I called the number and did file a complaint. Was told I would get a call back from a supervisor with in 24 hrs. Now 2/16/21 and so far no call. What a surprise! Still no update on my glasses. An entire business day and no call again.UPDATE 2: 2/24/2021-still no glasses. I have filed two complaints with corporate and both times I’ve been told I will get a call back in 24 hrs and well still nothing. I guess the unprofessional behavior comes from all the way up. This has been by very far one of the worst experiences of my life.UPDATE: 4/06/2021- after not getting my original glasses fixed and having this dilemma for months! Carissa was able to provide a solution. It’s not what I originally wanted which was a refund. But I was able to get any 2 pairs of glasses with all the add ons necessary at no cost. I just went in on 4/3 and was able to select my options and the order was placed. Arrival date of 4/17/21. I’m am very thankful to Carissa for helping me out during this situation and finding out options for me. We will see how things go with the recently placed order.

I went in to finally get an exam and was able to get in pretty quick. The exam process was quick and thorough even when done with all the polices in place in these new times. Once done Enham Hanania Was extremely helpful.I am horrible at picking out frames for glasses and also need help. She was willing to be my own personal shopper/stylist and help me get a pair of regular glasses and sunglasses. She took it seriously but also made it fun to do as well. She was an amazing help and as long as this location has individuals like her I will always go here for my eye check ups.

I had a awesome experience ordering new eyewear today. Carissa, Natalia, Piero and Michael could not have been more friendly and helpful - they all possess excellent customer skills and make a very good team!

They are just always trying to upswell the product and services rather actually listening to the needs of the customer.

Lets start with 5 Stars:#1st visit: eye exam, glasses and lens chosen, and total time over 2.5 hours. Probably because it was a monday holiday from a few months ago, and not enough staff. [minus 1 Star]#5th visit: due to the poor lens that were not fitted properly, it took us this many visit to get new frames/lens for my wife. [minus 1 star].#3rd visit: so after my wife decided to change her lens from bifocal to just reading glasses, and Stanton sent the frames to get them changed out, the lens came back loose and not properly fitted into the frame. It took 4 weeks to get this completed. [minus 1 star].#4th visit: after getting the the reading lens properly fitted into the original frame, the frame was damaged due to the new lens being fitted/re-fitted (the frame was stretched/expanded and would fall off when you look downward). So, we chose a new frame and had to wait for about 10days for it to come it. [minus 1 star].#1st visit: the young lady, who I will not mention name, is very good at upselling. However, a lot of things she upsells are not necessary. I paid $215 out of pocket for the a very BAD OVERALL EXPERIENCE. to get MEDIOCRE PRODUCTS....I have a great pair of glasses from them, and it is unfortunate that my wife did not get one. Our experience from it, we wont be coming back. My advice is look for mom/pop stores NOT STANTON OPTICAL.PS, we you contact me, I will tell you that I am an actual customer and not someone posting 1 star review to get the company in trouble or haters replying back.

I had a very good visit at this store. As a retiree, I was quite pleased to learn that they accept VSP/Principal discount program. I had selected my frames 2-days prior to my appointment; they kept them with my paperwork. I had an eye exam, which was eye opening, yes, punt intended, all new technical equipment and met with the ophthalmologist via video, which was really cool! Sue was so friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my entire experience!

I don’t write reviews but I give credit where credit is do . I came in and got a representative that told me that one pair of glasses would cost me $500. Needless to say I was gonna walk out, mind you I came in for the 2 for $59.99 just like advertised. Fortunately for me that representative got busy with another customer as I sat in shock . Then sue came to the rescue, she went above and beyond to show me all affordable ways to get the most for my money . I ended up with 4 pair of glasses for $240 . Which was definitely worth the time . Tip if you are fat and near sided like myself but don’t mind alternating glasses for driving and reading, the single prescription package is far cheaper and aligns with the advertisement we see on Tv.

Today I went to Stanton Optical with a friend and we were served by Carissa. She was very helpful & kind when helping us & made thinngs very easy and simple for us to understand. She is a great manager!

This place is very nice. At of all the places I’ve looked for glasses this is by far the best. Everyone there was very friendly and lead towards the better decision when looking for glasses and the doctors actually let me know why they were prescribing with the prescription they thought worked best for me. The woman who sold me glasses was very friendly and knew what she was doing. I felt like she actually cared. I think her name was Enham. Ask for her next time you walk in.

Management is very poor. Went in for an eye exam and everyone was sitting. I didnt feel properly greeted at all compared to other locations we viewed for frames. The manager Enham helped my daughter, but she wasnt nice and I truly felt she was only trying to gain a profit on our insurance. She tried billing us additional for her contacts, although my insurance alIows us to get both. I ended up just going back to our local eye doctor and got an exam only. i do not recommend at all.

I came to Stanton not knowing if I needed eyeglasses or not, but Enham and Sue convinced me to do it. They got me in the exam right away and helped me pick out really fly frames. They provided me with good vibes and I’m definitely gonna recommend them to all my friends and family.

Signs and online posting shows open at 12 pm on Sunday. Went to the store in Elk Grove at 12.15pm and the doors was locked. Called the call center and they stated that they needed to update their hours.STORES JUST BEEN BUILT.They said I needed to make an appointment but I will be the first customer to visit today.WTF?

I wanted to use my VSP insurance before the end of the year, and decided to check out the newly built Stanton Optical in Elk Grove. I did a walked in on Thursday, and was greeted by Sue. I didnt have an appointment, but was able to get a walk-in exam. After the exam, I looked at a few frames and Sue returned to help explain my insurance. Sue was very friendly and helpful. She made sure to answer all my questions, and I never felt rushed or forced into buying anything. I eventuly settled on a pair of glasses that I really liked. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. If you have VSP and you are in the area, give Stanton Optical in Elk Grove a shot. I would highly recommend Sue, as she will treat you more like a friend, than a customer.
