Great store, I bought a cymbal online and had email and phone conversation with Bryant. He was helpful and provided photos. Cymbal was packaged with great care ! Other than a couple of flea bites on the edge it is in good shape for a 30 year old cymbal. Oh yeah and the price was right !! Thanks!!

I was desperate for a Shure bodypack receiver in advance of a gig. Nobody had them (other than 1 seller on ebay whos shipping time wouldve gotten it to me after the gig) in the whole country due to supply chain issues. I found 1!!! Music Go Round in Elk Grove had a used one listed on their website for a fair price. Not only did they get the order shipped out to me in a matter of hours, but it was after USPS had already been there- they sent someone to the post office for me to make sure my order get out in time. And yes it arrived when I needed it to! White glove service with a very pleasant store manager via phone. Thank you music go round!

Chris, the employee I was in contact with, was most helpful towards me. I was attempting to purchase a couple of items from this location of Music Go Round. And -- though I was asking many questions -- Chris was there to answer each question of mine with honesty and fullness. Further, he provided more pictures of the items I was looking at, examined and described the items to me over the phone, and over-all he was so kind and helpful towards me. Considering his effort and the effort of other employees at this store, I highly recommend this location of Music Go Round!

Called to get shipping price on an amp and was told that they dont like to ship amps and its in store pick up only. Really??? You wont hear Sam Ash or Guitar Center say that. They are happy to ship and take my money.

Wasnt here for long, but while the staff is pretty straightforward, I definitely got the sense that they are fun loving.And despite being small they have a sizable collection of misic stuff, both new and used.

Patrick did a great job fixing and cleaning the guitar we brought in and he even charged us less than he originally quoted when the job didnt take as long as he initially anticipated. Highly recommend!

It was perfect. My son is starting to learn how to play the guitar and this store assisted me in making sure his guitar is ready for class on Wednesday. Plan to go back to get my son a ukulele too thank you also for being open early. Other stores were open til noon this Saturday. Thank you for all your help and Ill be back soon.

I purchased a Traynor Quarter Horse from them. Today is Wednesday in Chandler, AZ. My purchase was shipped out on Monday! Yep, its in my hot little hands already. I called the store today to talk to the person that shipped my order. His name is Robert, I called to let him know how much i appreciated the time and care he took in boxing my purchase up for me. What a fantastic shop! As anyone who has ever bought a guitar sight unseen online can attest, its a stressful thing to do...you cant play it, you cant see it in person, and who knows how its going to turn out? I live all the way across the country from the MGR Elk Grove store and recently did just that, and it was a 5 star, A+ experience. I called in and spoke with Bryant who answered all my questions about the guitar, sent me additional photos I requested in 2 minutes flat, and really made the whole process an absolute breeze. Bryant mentioned the guitar was looked over by their shop tech Patrick, and sure enough when it arrived today and I tuned it to pitch despite traveling all the way across the country it was perfectly set up and played amazing. The packaging job was probably the best Ive ever seen, multiple layers of bubble wrap, air pillows, UPS couldnt have damaged this thing if they tried (and we all know they try their best!) so despite not even having a case it arrived exactly as described. Ill definitely be shopping here again in the future, and all you folks lucky enough to be local to this store should definitely pop in. Thanks again everyone!

Great store, we’re new to the area and new to music. My son wanted to play the banjo, then realized the sound he wanted was a guitar! I’m clueless on both instruments, so the amazing help from the employees was very important.In the two times we purchased instruments, the true joy of playing music was very clear in all the staff and definitely made an impact on our confidence in purchasing the right instrument to get my son started!!I’ll go there for everything! Super nice folks. Was looking for band instruments (bass clarinet, reeds, tenor sax), and they didnt have much of a selection, but lots of cool used inexpensive clarinets, flutes, trombones, and the like. But like everyone else, they mostly do guitars and drums.

Everybody there so friendly from Patrick theyre luthier to Chris. Its one of my candy shops and I find myself going there several times a month because the prices are better than any of the major stores.

Saw a cello on their website. Called and an employee helped confirm still there and the condition. When I came to check out the next day, had a very good experience with every employees offering help. I was able to try out the cello for good amount of time without any pressure. Glad we have a great music store in town. Will be coming back.

Love this place. Great customer service. My 16 year old is a drummer and loves checking out the new inventory. There was even one time they didnt have what he needed (marching sticks) and they ordered it, totally going above and beyond. They dont mind him trying things out in-store and they are always incredibly helpful. So glad to have another music store option here in Elk Grove.

Often have unique &/or rare items with good prices. I always buy in-store to play & assess it in Stockton or the new Elk Grove, California. Old ukulele, old mandolin, 7/8 size 12-fret CE acoustic guitar, 12-string acoustic with low action. These are axes I never see at other stores.

Great prices and helpful staff. They will ask if you need help and not crowd you or hover while you test out the product. Picked up a decent little electric guitar and really nice bass amp for around 150 bucks. Both work great! A long drive from Roseville considering I will pass by several other music stores but it’s worth it. Shop here first!

You know it was an awesome store when it first opened owners gotten greedy prices are too high now theyre marked up at least 30% more than what the normal prices used to be yep the owners got greedy I know hes picking them squires up bulk dirt cheap and hes selling them for about 50 away from full price and beware buyer beware all their used fenders are stamped they say used they stamped the head stocks with a metal stamp

I came in to have a look around being a intermediate guitarist trying to look for gear and pedals to find my sound. The employees were amazing and helpful and I really felt comfortable there.

I purchased a casio keyboard for my son birthday last month! The keyboard did not last a month! Very disappointed it stopped working! I went into the store to let them know what happened and all they can say is sorry! Dont ever purchase anything from them..

This is an establishment which sells new and used musical instruments. However, because the store is new, they havent started selling. In order to build inventory, they are only buying sellable used equipment, till their grand opening. Not sure when rhe grand opening is though.
