Melina has been nothing but amazing! It’s a breath of fresh air to see such a cheerful, honest, and straight forward person in service! Every dealership should have a Melina on their team, only problem is they can’t, she is one in a billion! And to be fair it’s the entire service department! They are all amazing! It is not often that I give five stars to a company. But, frankly, I cant think of anything that might be wanting at Cornerstone. I was particularly impressed by the salesman, Hassan. If you go there and see him, you will appreciate him, too. He is very knowledgeable, honorable, honest, and intelligent. His credo is all about you, the customer, not the dealership or his commission. This is the best kind of automobile salesman I have seen, in something like 50 years of car purchasing. Go there and tell him that Scott sent you. You will be glad you did.
There is something to be said about Cornerstone Kia’s service team- from the advisors to the tech’s, you guys are amazing! Every time I make an appointment to get an oil change or have other miscellaneous work done they are so helpful in getting me in when it’s convenient for me and my busy schedule. I’m a single mom and have had my son with me the past few oil changes I’ve needed(let’s just say I drive a lot) and when we pull up and walk into the service area they all greet my son and I by name! Such great customer service and friendly atmosphere. My son loves it!The best part is they are never pushy when it comes to services that most if not all other dealerships I’ve been to are! Yes they make suggestions on maintaining and keeping my vehicle in the best shape and more importantly reliable for me and my son, but honestly I appreciate it! Easiest 5 Star rating I have ever given!It was time for some routine maintenance on my Kia (not my favorite thing to do, as my anxiety gets going while dreading what kind of problems I may be facing- and then of course theres the damage it could make in my bank account!)But this visit had me at ease from the moment I called to schedule...Cornerstone Kia in Elk River has always been an A-grade dealership in my opinion and now-thanks to their amazing Service Manager Melina, they are at an A+!!Melina is not only professional, she is efficient. She put in the extra mile- taking the time to meet all of my (and my cars) needs and she seemed to genuinely care about doing so. We brought our KIA Forte in for regular service and walked away a few hours later with a new Chrysler Pacifica Limited. Our sales associate Kirk Zroka leased the KIA to us three years ago and while we were getting service we went to speak with him about closing the lease early and look at vans or SUV’s. We have always owned and loved Chrysler vans and asked about a Pacifica. He let us know that one just came in at the price we were considering. We took it out for a drive and loved it instantly. He then worked it out so that the lease was grounded and he paid the remaining lease balance of $1,300. SOLD. Kirk has been good always checking in with us during our lease and now he gave us a great deal on our new van. We really like the sales folks (Kirk, Andrew and Danny) at Elk River Cornerstone where we have purchased or leased five vehicles. The service department at both KIA and Chrysler have always been reliable and awesome for all our vehicles.

The manager was excellent when it came to making sure the price was right and same with the financial manager who got me a lower interest rate on my loan! We recently purchased a 2021 KIA Telluride based on reviews and customer satisfaction. Brett assisted us in getting exactly what we wanted and helped with the entire process. Brett allowed us to weigh the pros and cons of leasing vs purchasing based on our driving style. He was incredibly transparent about his recommendations. The Telluride is the hottest vehicle right now therefore we had to order one. We were advised the ETA sometime in November. however, to our surprise, KIA beefed up its Telluride production. We received the SUV last week. Its a beautiful, smooth riding, quiet vehicle. Its six grandchildren tested with 12 thumbs up. We can now hold our entire family in one vehicle, swim gear and all. Everyone at Cornerstone KIA was a pleasure to deal with from day one! We really wanted to purchase a 2020 KIA Telluride but it is the hottest vehicle to get your hands on so we had to order one! We placed an order and they kept us in the loop from day one on the status. Unfortunately, it did not go to assembly right away - likely because of the exterior/interior color combo we chose but each time a new vehicle or two were being delivered to their dealership, Dan the Sales Manager would give us a call and update me on the inventory they were receiving. Just in case we wanted one of the Telluride’s that was coming in. Since my wife and I were torn on color and Trim level, eventually one came in that we were perfectly happy to purchase. Because we had to wait a while, Dan came in UNDER MSRP which is simply not happening nationwide on these vehicles. We got what has to be one of the best deals on this vehicle right now and took delivery on 8/30/19. In two days, we have both realized how fantastic this vehicle is and couldn’t be happier. The entire experience, from Dan the Sales Manager to the Sale person we worked with, Hassan, to Greg in Finance… it was simply amazing! They are not pushy at all and simply want to make the car buying experience as good as it can and SHOULD be. I never felt pressured to make a decision, and they never heckled me. They were willing to negotiate and helped me get everything I needed for the car. I’d highly recommend them. I drove all the way from Apple Valley, because they had the best deal on the car I wanted. And I’d drive there again just to work with the wonderful people there. I worked with Kirk as my salesman. Feeling a little frustrated with the whole experience, especially for a brand new car.I had called two days in advance to schedule an appointment for oil change and asked about a factory recall for a computer update. I was told they would need the VIN number, scheduled the appointment and called the following morning to provide the VIN to be told that they do not do recall work on Saturdays and I would need to come back during the week. OK, when I made the appointment why not say no warranty work on weekends and we could have been done with this time waste? Not the end of the world I know, but I live an hour out and weekends just work best for me rather trying to race to a dealer during the week right after work. I was also told by the service manager other dealerships would not offer this kind of work on the weekend. Funny, within two minutes I had an appointment at another KIA dealership to get it done being it is only a computer update.I felt like I was basically being told I need to rearrange my work schedule to accommodate the dealer. It gets frustrating as customer working with a business that is all customer service driven but does not provide any customer service or support. It is like pulling teeth to try an get something done and when you do call Cornerstone you do not get a friendly hi this name, how may I help you?, it is almost like they are annoyed they have to answer the phone, felt this from both individuals this morning. My comment to that is, if you dont like your job dealing with and helping people it may be time to find a new one. Customers are supposed to feel valued and taken care of, not be told well this is when we can do it. Something could have been done to make a positive experience but everything was negative.

First and foremost, Dan goes above and beyond to work with customers in securing a vehicle that will fit their lifestyle, needs, and budget. Brett, the salesman I worked with, was patient with me as I weighed my options; he also showed humanity and expertise through the entire process (a balance I find is hard to strike when it comes to car salespeople).I dont often go out of my way to make purchases--but when it comes to something like cars, I will faithfully make the trek to Elk River simply because I know I will be treated with care and respect. We bought a CPO Kia Sedona about two months ago from Cornerstone Kia in Elk River. The salesman we worked with was Ty. Everything about the process was really pleasant- fair pricing, no pressure. Buying a car can be a pretty intimidating process but these people made it very comfortable. I just cant say enough good things about Cornerstone. I can honestly say Ill be going back here whenever we need a new car and Id recommend this place to anyone.

Swooped into cornerstone Kia to check out lot and a 2017 lincoln mkc caught our eye. We took the lincoln for a test dive with the sales person who complained about wearing a mask even though it was falling off of his face and was below his nose most of the time. One of his shoes was ripped at the toe, he looked very unprofessional. Despite the sales persons appearance and mask attitude he seemed nice. We took the vehicle for a test drive with the sales person. When we got back to the lot after the test drive we took a closer look at the car and noticed the tires where at the end of their life. The sales person told me I was inaccurate. We decided to attempt to talk numbers wih the sales person. The asking price was $25,250 but due to the vehicle needing new tires we asked if they would work with us. The sales person went and talked to the manager which took about 45 minutes and came back with a price of $24,650. After some discussion with my wife we offered an even $24,500 with $4,000 down (a difference of $150) and we would buy the vehicle that day. The sales person wrote up the offer of $24,500 that we signed and took it to the manager. It took another 30 minutes or more to come back and when he did he pulled out a highlighter and very disrespectfully highlighted the $24,650 price and said thats the final price. My wife and I where shocked at his attitude, unprofessionalism and lack of wanting to work with us to get the sale finalized. We got up and said well then I guess we cant come to a deal and left. A couple of days later my wife got a text from the dealership asking how our experience was with the sales person and if we are still interested in purchasing the vehicle. She responded truthfully by saying we liked the vehicle and we are still interested in buying it but we didnt have a good experience with the sales person. The dealership never responded to her. We later pulled up the vehicle on cornerstones website and the asking price went up to $26,000. They had put new tires on the car. This dealership from my experience doesnt care about the customer and would be horrible to deal with even after purchasing the car. We really did want to purchase this car but after the lack of response to my wife and the attitude of the sales person, they lost a sale and any potential sales in the future.

This is the best place to buy a car. Mac, Will and another gentleman in finance whose name I forgot to catch provided outstanding customer service. They bent over backwards trying to get us a reasonable financial plan for the car we had our heart set on, which was not easy. Im really not sure that any other dealership would have done that for us. They truly care about the person/family and not just the sale. We now have a very reliable and nice car that I can drive my one-year-old in and not have to worry and its all thanks to them.

I am very disheartened at Cornerstones failure to recognize the serious implications of the COVID19 pandemic. My June 4 visit to the dealership for routine maintenance on my Sorento gave ample demonstration of either their ignorance or disavowal of the COVID threat. Apart from me, no one in the dealership wore masks nor did they require customers to wear masks while waiting for their vehicles to be serviced. Service technicians took no apparent precautions to sanitize vehicles upon the entering the vehicle or upon finishing their work. My technician, who did not wear a mask, interacted with me with less than two feet of distance between us. I have cancer and am currently being treated with chemo. With U.S. coronavirus cases now exceeding 2.5 million and over 125,000 reported fatalities — in both cases the world’s highest (Star Tribune, June 29, 2020), requiring people to wear masks is the simplest intervention that we could take to stop the spread of the virus. Sadly, polls, including a recent CBS survey, also show the issue of wearing masks has become highly politicized in the United States. Whatever Cornerstones motives, it is unconscionable to play Russian roulette with my health, the health of any of their customers or, for that matter, their employees. Fortunately, KIA Barnett in White Bear Lake, where I will now have my vehicle serviced, is more principled in this regard as their website demonstrates and Mr. Mike Barnett has personally assured me.

I had a routine oil change this week. The routine service took almost 2- hours. I was told they were short staffed and typical wait is about 45- minutes.The service includes evaluation of the battery. I was told the battery should be replaced as soon as possible; it could be done by them for $272. Prior to spending that amount I spoke with my husband and we realized the car is still under warranty. The warranty includes battery replacement for 24- months and the car is 18- months old. I called back and was told battery warranty is usually for a shorter time.My husband called Cornerstone today. We were told the warranty is for batteries that are actually bad. The dealership ran a quick test, not the 90 minute required test, and recommended replacement...ON A BATTERY THAT SHOULD BE FREE UNDER WARRANTY. The person my husband talked to offered zero service recovery and zero understanding of why replacement was recommended. This place is shady.
Currently own 3 Kias that came from this particular showroom. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a nice waiting area with some refreshments. The showroom and waiting area are very clean.Id recommend Tyrone Gibson as one of the best to talk to. I love the service staff. There allways great and helpful Malina is great and willing to go out of her way to make things right for guests. Service sometime i have small issues with and being charged for repairs that had all ready been done under warranty and needed to be redone i felt was not necessary. But very comfortable place to go.

Our search for a new Kia took us to four different Kia dealerships. Cornerstone was the most upfront about their pricing and working with Brett Z was a pleasure. We had only planned a test drive but ended up buying our car on the spot because we were so impressed with the dealership. We recently stop in to inquire about a vehicle we have thinking about buying. Jake McSpadden was so very nice in helping us out. He was patient and not pushy. the day he allowed us to take the car home for a test drive my wife had an medical emergency and we where not able to enjoy the car. Jake and staff where more than accommodating. they told us to keep the car as long as we needed. in fact they where more worried about my wife than the vehicle. Jake was Great!I contacted Cornerstone along with several other dealerships asking about a specific vehicle and features that I wanted. Jake from Cornerstone was only one of two that responded to me. I was very impressed with his honesty and patience in dealing with my husband and I. He told us about his family and explained Cornerstone was faith-based. Those things sold us on purchasing with Cornerstone and not going anywhere else. Jake explained the vehicles available and did not pressure us during the test drives or sale of the vehicle. His customer service skills are excellent and he went above and beyond to meet our budget.

Everybody in that dealership were super patient, very helpful, and it definitely doesnt have that feeling of a typical car dealership. My wife and I didnt feel any pressure once we got there, and most dealerships have salespeople peering out the window like rabid dogs. Not Cornerstone! Just 1 person sitting at the front ready to help with whatever we needed. The first person we talked to was Will Swanson because we had called first to see if we should come in or just fill out an online application, simply because our credit isnt all that good and I wasnt sure if we had to do anything special. Will was super genuine and very helpful and calm and relaxed. Very good experience!Then on to Michael McCurdy....wow!! It was like hanging out with a family member at their house...dont worry about it, Ill take care of it type of attitude and relaxed feeling. Truly treated us like family...not a notch, not a number, not a get em in, get em out.....very very pleasant experience!! My wife and I over the last month have been telling everybody, you have to buy a car from Mac at Cornerstone KIA!!! Hell make you feel right at home!!The frosting on the cake for my wife and I, is that the core of Cornerstone is Christian based, and you can absolutely feel it there! Normally I wouldnt think twice about the badging of the company that sold the car, but now with that Cornerstone badge, its almost like I roll around with a little extra smile, proud to have that on my car!

We found a low-mileage 2012 Chevy Traverse listed online and drove up from Maplewood to take a look. Our entire experience was truly awesome. Absolutely recommend Cornerstone Kia! Dan Hedge was our salesman and he took care of us from the beginning to the end. He made sure we were put into the right vehicle and were very satisfied. He made me feel so comfortable the whole time and answered any questions I had. The other employees in the store were so welcoming while we were waiting, especially when we had our 3 yr old with us. Very frustrating to know that being a loyal customer to the Kia dealership for service and referring new customers to the same dealer getting service done and the receiving the car wash voucher and now having one of the perks taken away to me make no sense especially when you advertise on wcco with actual customers via the ford side that you still receive them?? What the heck???? The only reason I would even consider going back to Kia is the service manager because she rocks.. Mr Berg I promise you that you’re losing more than just me.. what makes you guy’s different?? Nothing anymore!!
I love this place! They are always so great to work with. I bought my 2014 Kia Optima brand new from here in 2014 and a year or two ago there was a factory recall on the motor, so I finally got it scheduled and brought in and they set me up in a really nice rental (no cost to me) and replaced the long block as well as a steering wheel recall and they did a underbody coating and I had my car back within 4-5 days. It was so stress free! And I think its pretty awesome that I get a call from them every year on my birthday!! Great place!!

I love my car!!! I recently purchased a used car from this location. I was quite nervous about purchasing a car, but Dave, the most relaxed low pressure salesmen Ive every had the pleasure of buying from, made every step easy and relaxed. I had noticed a windshield wiper needed replacing and Dave replaced it before I even finished with the paperwork. I absolutely recommend buying a car from this dealership! They are all fantastic, kind people! :D
