Dont do enough to say if Menards is better than other home improvement stores. However, their staff was polite and helpful. They exactly what I needed at prices I thought were reasonable.

I like this store, I can actually get lost in here a couple hours looking at all the stuff. Staff is mostly friendly and helpful. I wish they would actually give the 11% off instead of the rebates you have to wait for... sometimes I admit very seldom send in as they make it difficult to even go through the darn process especially if its just a couple bucks. Smart way to make people think their getting something theyre not I give you that...plus the fact u make it so hard. Mail it in why not make it digital... you sure like to take our money and promise rebates yet it takes FOREVER to get it... and its a HASSLE TO DO ALL THAT IS REQUIRED TO GET IT!!!

Someone hit our mailbox, and of course didnt bother to offer to replace it....shocker!!!!Looked for a mailbox on line before going to the store. Found the one I wanted, on-line said there are 3 in stock in Mishawaka. Great! Went to the store, none on the shelf. Looked up... there they were.... on the top of a 10 high shelf.Finally found a person to help get them down. Oh no no.... These are located in the garden shop. Ill go get one, he says. When he came back 20 minutes later, he says I found it, but this one doesnt have a sku # for scanning it at the register, so Ill have to find a ladder to get those down. Hmmm, thats what we asked for in the first place.Wait another 10 minutes to find the ladder, he got ONE down.(and put the other one back on the 10 high shelf) I guess they really dont want to sell these.Now to find numbers for the address. Guess what?There are no 5s anywhere to be found and we need two of them. You can drive to Elkhart for those, they have them in stock.You cant make this stuff up!!!At least it didnt cost us anything because we used our 11% rebate to pay for it AND got 11% on the new purchase.

This Menards used to be great. The one nice thing about Menards is the great deals you can find on end caps all over the store. The problem with this Menards is their loss prevention officers following you from the time you walk in untill you leave. Theyre not even slightly good at being covert, and they stick out like a sore thumb, it gets really annoying especially when you dont shoplift at all. It makes people who want to shop there for the great deals to not even shop there at all. The only other problem is them displaying an item on the floor for a low price and then carry an identical item for a higher price and even stocking the higher priced item in the same location. So a person thinks they are buying the item for the price advertised on the floor, but being charged for the higher priced item, then being told sorry we dont have any of the lower priced items in stock, its very misleading.

Love Menards my favorite place to go they have anything and everything you could want or need . Everyone is always friendly and helpful

I rented a floor sander and the ladies were super friendly but... they had me just walk over and grab the Sandpaper without telling me which one it uses or giving any advice, didnt even walk me over to the machine when I going to leave with it, didnt ask me if I wanted help getting into the car ( it weighs a lot more than I do), I dont even know how to put the Sandpaper on or turn on the machine. I guess Ill figure it out

Like other menards stores. You can’t ever find anything. Their website doesn’t give product location like Home Depot or Lowe’s. If you need help finding something or loading something good luck. If you don’t need brand specific items they are cheaper than the other stores but quality isn’t as good on some things.

Make sure if a product is back ordered, dont order in the store. Buy the product online, or you will wait forever to get the product. I was rudely told this like I should have known how Menards favors its online people over its walk in costumers?!

I love how easy it is to return an item if need be. Very convenient when a customer changes their mind on you, no stress go back and try something else.

Quickly found what I needed. I saw people in line at the distant registers, but the first register was open and the cashier was ready / friendly. Checked out fast and happy on my way!

Elkhart location is a pretty good store. The layout is good and its usually pretty easy to find what you need. On the occasions you do need someone, it seems to be getting harder and harder to find anyone to help, or has the knowledge to help. Still like it better than Lowes or home Depot except the quality of power tools etc is much better at the other places.

Clean, organized and I got everything on my list.

The problem I have with Menards is their customer service. Many times I’ve had to wait for help finding something or for assistance . I have been ignored or overlooked.

I have a medical condition and cannot wear a mask but apparently Menards would rather me put my mask on and pass out and call an ambulance to the facility then check me out without a mask. even though I’m maintaining 6 feet distance from your associate and right next to an open door! Glad to see your patrons safety means less than your store policy!

Other than the lines at check out,it essentially bad. Employes were polite, despite there flushtration.

Terrible customer service here. We ordered a door from them correctly and received an incorrect door size. They charged us a restocking fee for their mistake. $100 mistake in their favor. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! In addition to them ripping you off the staff are often unwilling to help when asking questions. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else than here.

I love that they have everything you could need for every home project! I do wish that there were more customer service representatives available to help with advising customers with specifically what would be needed to complete a project. Many times I find that I do not have the correct tools or supplies to complete my project & have to go back to Menards to get what I need several times. Lastly, There are many things that are priced fair but I have also found that little, or simple things like paint brushes or rollers, can be priced much higher than other super center stores & be the same brand. I do not like to have to go to a super store because I need some hardware supplies.

I was in Menards with my emotional support dog and I was told I needed to leave the store because he is not a service dog. A service dog helps with physical disabilities, an emotional support dog helps with metal disabilities. Both are protected by federal laws and both are allowed in any business or establishment. I will not be shopping at Menards anymore. Ive brought my emotional support dog into a restaurant during this pandemic and they didnt never had an issue with it and they serve food.

Menards is a great place to shop! I always go in with one thing in mind and always come home with items I use every day at a great price. I also find things Ive meant to shop for at other stores that Im amazed that they stock. Its always beneficial to go there and I always leave with a smile.

Oops. They loaded 10 8ft. 2X10s instead of the 10 8ft. 3X12s this morning.It cost me another 10 mile trip back to the store and a 3 hour shut down of the workers on todays project.The gal at the service desk was very smart and helpful correcting the costly mistake made in the yard

Always a good place to blow money😍

This is a nice store and 11% rebate is great. However, 2 items I bought recently were clearly used returns. A Bosch reciprocating saw that someone used for something then returned with a used blade inside. A socket set with a metal box that had a deep cut in the metal and a ton of dust on it inside the cardboard box. Also if you buy items and need to get them loaded in your truck in the back, dont trust them. Double check what they load before you leave because they dont. I learned that the hard way with 2 extra trips to the store to get the parts I payed for.

I bought my first power tool (lol,a leaf blower).I was able to decipher which one worked best for me because of the clear labels on shelves that were extremely organized with proper products in spaces. The organization of Menards is what keeps me as a loyal customer

Their prices are reasonable here and the workers are eager to answer my questions whenever I need help on a project.

My family went to Menards tonight to get supplies for our a fence we are putting in. My daughter and I were trying to find the fencing using the s.k.u number on our list and we were having hard time. Dave a forklift driver heard us and came over and saved the day! He was so patient and courteous and stayed with us the whole time. Thanks to Dave we found exactly what we needed!

Went in and received a quote for bathroom countertops. They put the quote together for me and I left to discuss it with wife. Called in to order countertop over the phone with the estimate number they gave me. They said they could not do it over the phone? I think they are all to lazy to take a xtra minute to order over the phone!

I have never been to a store that has so many employees that complain about having to do their job I stood there for almost an hour at a key place trying to make a copy of my key asked for help multiple times walked around looking for help all to be told that they have to do something else before they would come and assist me on top of that nobody seem to know anything about anything the worst store I have ever been into my life never got the key made

I can almost always find what Im looking for, even if Im not sure what Imlooking for.

We regularly use menards to help fill in the gsps on our inventory. They have a surprisingly large supply of electrical parts.

Ordered bags of mulch online to pick up at store. Received email they were ready for pick up. Hook up the trailer, go to Menards. In the 1.5hrs since I ordered and PAID for my mulch, they sold it to other people. Now they have -1 in stock. Then tell me there is nothing they or I can do.

Was shopping with my Dad for a few things, went to check out and was told by the cashier that she wouldnt check me out because I did not have a mask on . I could maintain 6 feet from her and I have lung problems that make it difficult to breathe with a mask on. Menards is definitely over stepping . #freedomisnotfree

We will never return due to discrimination against my son. Horrible customer service. They could have made a lot of money off of us today. Instead they lost an entire family of customers forever.. tried to call to speak to a manager. Nope they won’t answer the phone.

The employees were all very nice and helpful...i had a return and they exchanged it very good...I bought 3 large bags of garden and potting soil...too heavy for me to lift at my age to being 63 on the 4th of July...a nice young man put the soil...2 large fans...and a rack into my SUV...a good experience at Menards today.

I was greeted at the front door. On my way to look at generators a department manager approached me and said that i cant shop in the store without a mask on. He said I had to leave. I let him know I have a medical reason. He then said I had to leave the store immediatly. I left. I will never shop at Menards again. They dont care if you have a medical condition.
